Great Value, good sound
Pros: TONS of storage space (120 gig)and BETTERY BATTERY LIFE versus Creative Labs mp3 players ( 32 gig)X-fi or NOT...for them is around the same price give or take 20 bucks at most). very thin..fits in my blue jeans pocket even my tight fitting pair easily.lol.
Cons: I wanted to use my Creative Media Source program to transfer music to and from the ipod..but nbd. I figured with it being an apple owned machine they prefer to program it to "PRETTY MUCH" only work with apple software, ( Itunes..etc) for transfers. I guessed this ahead of time but i was hoping they were making these alittle more universal. only reason i did not give 5 eggs is because I had to convert the tracks to WMA format. which im used to mp3 320k quality. also would not accept WMA PRO lossless 768k quality, but most people can't tell any real difference between the too.
Other Thoughts: This is my FIRST time owning an Apple Product. The controls took a while to adjust to, but it's worth the change over from the OVERPRICED Creative Labs Products. I guess they don't care about giving their customers the better bang for the buck over Apple mp3 players anymore. I couldn't care less if a mp3 player had wi-fi capability. If i needed wi-fi that badly in a device, I will just bring my laptop and be able to do much more.

Great Buy
Pros: My kid loves it. Great picture for movies. With the right program, it's easy to load movies. Tons of storage for music/ movies.
Cons: none that I've heard of
Other Thoughts: Newegg delivers another great product in it's usual fast delivery. I love Newegg.

Works great if you have all Apple Accessories.
Pros: Works with iTunes. Standard interface. 120G.
Cons: Small screen. Scratches easy. Does not work with any non apple video accessory that I have. Audio works fine. Video does not.
Other Thoughts: Guess I should have planned to spend an additional $200-300 for AV to get all the cables and players that work fine on my old working with my new iPod.

buying this
Pros: Lots of space (120 GB) = Lots of content :D
Cons: screen smaller than zune. no radio as in zune costs more than zune
Other Thoughts: Honestly, zune is better, but the reason why i am buying an iPod is because i already have a bunch of electronics that only work with ipod.
my 500$ home theater has built in ipod dock my 100$ iHome also only works with ipod :/

Had to buy it/Never buy a Zune.
Pros: -Familiar Design -Lots of space -iTunes -I'm not the biggest Apple fan, but there's a reason iPod is to MP3 player as Band-Aid is to bandage and Coke is to cola, and it's not just marketing.
Cons: -"Old Busted" design might not appeal to some. -Somewhat bulky -Not the most practical for someone running/on-the-go.
Other Thoughts: Recently, I purchased a new HDTV, creating exactly one (1) surplus, non-HD, four year old 20" laying around my house. Being the resourceful guy I am, I decided to use this set, streaming various TV shows. I went to (popular electronics chain) to buy an iPod, intent on putting the various TV shows on it. There was the Zune, with the same capacity, on sale for $30 less! "They do the same thing," I told myself, "What's the difference?" I bought the Zune, took it home, ripped my DVD collection, converted it to the proper format for the Zune, bought a pricey AV kit for the Zune (which I later learned I would have gotten for free, had I purchased the Zune here) and Lo and Behold, the thing doesn't support video playlists. Woop.
Anyway, my rambling aside, the moral of the story is, this device has better software, a better screen (Zune is wider but kinda..."meh") and doesn't omit any no-brainer features.
If you want a device that can play more than one video file, buy this.

LOVE IT!!!!!
Pros: Silver color and large gb size. The screen is big enough to see my pictures and the album covers without requiring a magnifying glass. I love the clock and battery gauge that is shown as the screen saver when music is playing. The battery life is wonderful; I can play my iPod continuously at work and only need to charge the battery after about 3 or so days. The charge time is also relatively quick; less than 2 hours and you’re back to playing.
Cons: It is bigger and bulkier than my 2nd Gen 4gb Nano. Not really a con, but it did take some getting used to.
Other Thoughts: I was able to fit the 120gb Classic in a 80gb Classic silicone skin since I wasn't able to find a skin geared specifically to the new 120gb. I only use my iPod for music and pictures, so the size leaves me with a ton of room for my stuff.

Disappointing
Pros: Does what it is supposed to do!
Cons: Video output is crippled. Now you have to pay $50 to get an Apple cable to watch video. i am sending it back to get the older version,
Other Thoughts: Apple is getting greedy. My earlier ipod had a charger and came with a case.

Pros: Simply fantastic. I've been going through iPods for a while now, and I absolutely love this one. The battery lasts longer and I have yet to experience any errors in the 8+ months I've owned it. I can fit everything on this iPod, not just my music, but my movies and tv shows as well.
Cons: I wish it could sync with more than one computer, as not all of my music is on the laptop I have it synced with.

iPod Classic is a good purchase
Pros: I have had my Apple iPod Classic 120GB for about seven months now and I love it. I have not found any major problems with it. It never stalls or freezes on me. The iPod stores up to 30,000 songs and can have up to 150 hours of video play. You can also store your videos and photos on the iPod classic 120GB. You can store plenty of videos on this iPod since it has 120 GB.
The colors displayed on the screen are very vivid and clear. There is also a setting for a screen lock. I have never locked my screen before, but I can understand how useful it might be if other people try to use your iPod constantly. The iPod also comes with three free games. One is called iQuiz, and the other two are Klondike and Vortex. This iPod is also nice because there is a place to store your notes.
Cons: As of right now I have not found any problems with the iPod Classic 120GB. The only problem I have had in the past with other iPods is that they always die around the two year mark. Also, with my past iPods my battery would die within two hours, but with the Apple iPod Classic, I can go several hours more without charging.
Other Thoughts: The iPod also inclues the Genius. The Genius gathers other songs that are similar to the one you clicked on and puts it into a playlist. This is useful and nice because it can create your play lists for you instead of sitting down at your computer and hand selecting the songs and creating a playlist. The Genius helps eliminate this time consuming process of creating playlists.
Overall, I would recommend the Apple iPod Classic 120GF to others. Even thought it is your basic iPod, it does have some unique and cool features for everyone.
