Best system, no problems
Pros: Great system, best games available. Have had no problems with extremely heavy usage--six people using.
360s should not be sandwiched in stacks of other electronics or operated standing up. Keep them flat and on a shelf by themselves and you shouldn't have problems.
Cons: Wireless receiver has limited range, unable to play LIVE with DSL.

Perfect System IMO
Pros: Haven't had a Ring of Death. I have it networked to my PC so I can access any supported media to my xbox, no problem!
Cons: supported media can be nit-picky
Other Thoughts: xbox is the best system for multimedia and multi-platform games... a computer gamers' game system.

Great System!
Pros: I had the old pro system I got used. I am surprised it lasted me a month shy of 2 years! I came to newegg to get a replacement Elite and the extra hard drive space is great and the system matches my monitor :p
Highly Recomended!
Cons: It's too awesome? heh there are none!
Other Thoughts: HAHA Xbox is getting Final Fantasy 13. Sony's list of exclusives grow smaller. Get the 360 instead!

newegg rocks
Pros: Great game console with vast selection of games. Box said 203w, I was upset for a moment until I opened the box and found the 175w power supply ("falcon").
Cons: Microsoft knows there is an issue with "pre falcon" boxes. They should have done the right thing and pulled all old stock, instead of making customers willing to spend ~500 on their console play russian roulette on whether or not they are going to get a defective console.
Other Thoughts: newegg was great as usuall. Ordered on Fri, received on Mon.

Excellent Game Console!!!!
Pros: Pretty fast loading times. The graphics, sound and gameplay of most games were superb. Controller layout is excellent as well as ergonomic. I was easily able to network this to my Media Center pc and stream all my video and music to my tv. Xbox Live is just simply awesome as well as the layout of the Xbox 360 dashboard
Cons: Wish there was built in Wi-Fi.
Other Thoughts: Even though you have to pay for Xbox Live it is still worth it, its like less than a dollar a week so it's no big deal. I would definitely recommend this to anybody considering of purchasing an Xbox 360 Elite.

Pros: Fast Shipping
Cons: no packing list
Other Thoughts: I ordered my console monday night and I received it yesterday afternoon. The box said that the power supply of a 203w. Upon seeing that i was a bit angry. But when I opened it and looked at the power supply it was the 175w.

wifi and ethernet lacking
Pros: overall good console...
Cons: for the price it needs to come with wifi and the wireless adapter for the ethernet. the racing game is good, but pairing it up with the other killed the value of it.
Other Thoughts: with the cheapest nexgen console having wifi I dont see was microsoft couldnt add that with how much it cost.

FALCON CONFIRMED
Pros: best selection of games. new systems are confirmed falcons from newegg. very quiet. 175w power supply which confirms it is a falcon, benq drive, top components in the elites right now!
Cons: no built in hd drive or wireless. price is a little high!
Other Thoughts: have all 3 including a wii and ps3. xbox has the best selection of games. may change christmas next year. get it, don't hesitate with the 2 free games, they both rock. also suggest picking up mass effect.....:)

65nm 175W Falcon
Pros: Just got this console from newegg. It is the 65nm 175W Falcon model.
Cons: The label on the outside of the box said it was a 203W which is incorrect. I was pretty upset for about 10 seconds until I saw the PSU.

Disappointed
Pros: Black color, Free games, comes with HDMI cable, games look nice on my TV
Cons: Died in 4 days. Having friends log into their accounts locally is more complicated then it needs to be. XBL users have a slew of cussing they can teach your kids (Thankfully, you can turn voice off, but not everyone will know about it). XBL Gold costs $50? No standard WiFi (The supplied LAN cable wasn't long enough for me as well as ugly to see one on the floor across the hallway)
Other Thoughts: Regret buying it. Could have bought a PS3 instead. They don't get the red rings of death. Also, for $50/year for Gold service I expect DEDICATED game servers, not user hosted games. MS decided that they want to compensate me with the Gold service credited back to me + 1600 points. Which was nice of them. Better not break again, though.

To 65nm or not to 65nm - That is the question.
Pros: Hoping to see how people leave feedback on the new 65 nm falcon chipsets on these elite units. Wondering if the bundle (2 games )units have drasticaly different mfg dates than the non bundle versions. If anyone buys one pass on the info, would be great info to pass on about the chipset simply to save both customers, and NewEgg a lot of trouble when the older ones fail after a week.
Cons: Only con would be the old 95nm chipsets which turns a deep fry oven on the top of the console and burns them up
Other Thoughts: Best system of the bunch so far. HDMI cable, extra 100 gig HD over the other models. lots of frills and thrills.

followup
Pros: games
Cons: see below
Other Thoughts: i just ordered this today, and will follow up and let everybody know if it is the 175w version, not the 203w. i have done the research too. newegg couldn't help me but they told me to order one and if it is not the 175w i can exchange it until i get the right one. thanks for the post!!!!!

Make Sure You Purchase the Updated Power Supply and Heatsink
Pros: Great console and so far Xbox 360 graphics and gameplay have pulled me away from many years of PC gaming. I actually own the Xbox 360 Pro console with 20GB HDD.
Cons: Locked into black color scheme. Overheating problems with older generation hardware
Other Thoughts: Future review writers, please be sure to reference that the Elite console you purchased here (Newegg.com) came with the 175W power supply and the Falcon motherboard (65 nm processor) with the improved heatsink.
RRo'D (Red Ring of Death) problems are directly tied into overheating in older generation console hardware with 203W power supply. Consoles produced after October 2007 that come with the 175W power supply have shown a much smaller rate of RRo’D.
I contacted Newegg.com customer support about this issue but they were unable to verify product information which would clarify which generation of hardware you are purchasing.
For more information, read this post on the Xbox.com forums: http://forums.xbox.com/15804553/ShowPost.aspx

Cons: none that i can think of.
Other Thoughts: i hooked up my wireless pc to the xbox360 and was able to connect to xbox live. no need for the wireless adapter for another $100

Less Noise than 20gb Premium
Pros: 120 Gb »» 20 gb 20gb is NOT enough for game demo dls I don't get what loud noises these guys are hearing (i owned a 20gb Premium and it was way louder than Elite)
Cons: doesn't talk to me like tha 1st Xbox
Other Thoughts: Too Expensive PS3 has Blue Ray 60gb Shouldn't have bought it

Xbox 360
Pros: Xbox 360 with HDMI (Even though Pros now come with HDMI), 120 gig harddrive (VERY HANDY... I already have 30 gigs of stuff and I hardly use it), black (looks good) and the Elite controller (more comfortable than regular controllers)
Cons: The fan is noisy... And the Elite didn't come with a 1080p TV... I'm psised
Other Thoughts: Love my elite

Pros: It's an xbox 360, nuff said. As usual Newegg's service and processing is A++++. Ordered it on the 1st got it the 3rd.
Cons: It's an xbox 360?
Other Thoughts: The 5 rating is more for Newegg's unmatched service and speed, the Xbox 360 elite is great, not much to say about it that you already didn't know...

Almost perfect
Pros: 360 elite... Easy Setup, Lots of fun for the family
Cons: Doesn't have HD DVD integrated into the console
Other Thoughts: "For this system to truly be an "elite" offering, Microsoft should have included the HD-DVD Player they sell as an add-on component for this console. I'm guessing this wasn't done so it didn't match dollar for dollar the cost of the PS3.
It's a great console, just make sure you get an extended warranty incase you encounter the ring of death 3 years down the road."

Great Console
Pros: Great console, never has let me down unlike the to premium versions i had die on me(TRL)
Cons: It wasnt free, and it didnt come with 2 controllers
Other Thoughts: If your deciding between this and the Pro, get this it is worth the extra money. I also do own this, I bought mine at another store.

Good console, could be better
Pros: Splendid graphics, good games. Pretty easy to use, although coming from PC gaming has made it difficult to get used to FPS games with a controller instead of a mouse & keyboard. Stylish and runs games very smooth compared to other systems (anyone that played NCAA Football on the PS2 knows what I'm talking about.)
Cons: Expensive, lacks some additional features which should have been integrated (HD-DVD player, Wi-Fi), enormous power brick adaptor, extremely loud. I would not use it for watching movies. I feel that this is a toss-up between the other consoles of this generation.
Other Thoughts: My wife surprised me for Christmas with an "Elite", and I really enjoy playing COD 4, but I wish that the Wii had 1080p graphics and more adult/mature games because I probably have more fun playing the Wii.

Shipping Damage
Pros: It's a Falcon! Mfg. date 10/24/07, 175w psu, 2 inductors, team: TMEM, it's the real deal. I get extra for these machines when I resell them.
Cons: The retail box was damaged due to poor packing methods by a contractor in PA. Unfortunately, they are the only ones shipping the consoles of all brands I've purchased. (PS2, X360halo, X360elite)Newegg need to get an email out to them or take the contract away until they can send items with bubble wrap or sty-peanuts or SOMETHING besides crumpled kraft paper. That warehouse is also much slower than I'm used to with dealing for several years with newegg, it took 2 add'l days to get it, and they had to up-ship to ups 2day from ground and still be late.
Other Thoughts: The shipping puts me in a bad position as a reseller when customers get hung up on the condition of the retail box. This is a very fickle white bread market, and although the item inside is just fine as far as I know, it hurts overall customer confidence and apppeal when the 1st impression is sloppy handling/packaging and damage to the shiny new box they just plunked down 5 benjamins to own. Shame on you newegg, there are others complaining about this as well, wake them up and start padding those xboxes!!!

Great Console w/few drawbacks
Pros: 120GB HDD offers a lot of room for saved games as well as XBox Live Marketplace content. HDMI connection delivers clear picture & sound to my HDTV, plus the included games are actually very decent. The wireless controller is impressive; very ergonomic and weight-balanced, plus it can turn the console on/off.
Cons: The console gets quite loud when playing a game or watching a DVD. No built-in wifi, no built-in HD DVD player, and no support for h.264 MKV files (hopefully an update will be available soon, but that's doubtful). Media content can only be STREAMED from a PC and cannot be moved/copied to the 360's HDD, but CDs can be ripped to MP3 and saved.
Other Thoughts: It was a toss-up between this and the PS3. Microsoft has a better game lineup as well as a smaller pricetag, but the PS3 has more desirable features out-of-the-box: built-in wifi, built-in BluRay, more than 1 USB port, the ability to copy/move media files, etc. The game lineup combined with XBox Live was the major selling point for me (that, and the price). As usual, excellent service from NewEgg.

Very Impressed
Pros: This is my first time ordering from newegg.com I am very impressed my product was ordered on thursday and came on monday. the packaging looked good nothing was damanged or out of place.
Cons: I have none. Its for my boyfriend he has been wanting one for a long time I cant wait for him to open it on Christmas.
Other Thoughts: Thank You newegg for a great shopping experience. When everyone else was sold out of the xbox elite You guys save the day and I got my product in a timely manner.

Need improved packaging
Pros: Great console. Only powered it up to ensure that all the functions were good. Look forward to using it more after Christmas.
Cons: Packaging was not the best. The factory box was inside of another box, but the packaging allowed the factory box to bounce around in the newegg box. This resulted in lots of damage to the MS packaging.

**Update**
Pros: everything I said before
Cons: everything I said before
Other Thoughts: Mfr Date of 10/28/07 , Team FDOU, 175w on the box, FALCON, just like I said before, but the drive is BenQ, NOT Samsung. This is good and bad. For you modders, this is bad as there is no firmware crack for the BenQ drive yet. For the rest of you, this is good because this drive is proven to be slightly faster than the rest, HOWEVER it is not as quiet as the rumors say. It is in fact quite loud. Probably just as loud/louder than my pro with hitachi drive. Especially loud when waiting in online lobby in COD4. Hope Ive helped someone out.

It really is Elite
Pros: 120gb hdd, Comes with two great games, Excellent selection of games available (especially compared to other consoles out right now), Xbox Live is awesome, 3 yr warranty from MS against RROD. Doesnt get as warm as my pro model.
Cons: Still the possibility of RROD, All disc drives (even BenQ) are pretty loud if you dont blast your eardrums out with speakers.
Other Thoughts: Ordered Mine late Friday evening, and it didnt ship untill Monday, but it only took 1 dy to get to me. The unit I recieved is from the Dec. 3rd shipment. Mfr. Date 10/28/07, Lot number 743, Team FDOU, Samsung Drive, DOES have falcon chip.

Microsoft XBOX 360 Elite
Pros: Their are a few key differences from the original XBOX, The Elite hard drive capacity has been increased from 20GB to a larger 120GB Hard Drive and a HDMI output port... and its black! HDMI output and the increased hard drive capacity are great for the content now available on XBOX Live. Especially its (HD) High Definition videos are now readily available and take up more room on the hard drive, and now they can be viewed at higher resolutions. Definately a Plus & must have!
Cons: I wouldn't exactly call it Cons but lets take a look inside Microsofts newest XBOX 360 Elite. The CPU processor has not changed. It remains the same as and still uses IBM's 90 nanometer lithography found in the original XBOX 360. While it has updated to HDMI output, the graphics processor has not changed, It’s still the exact same part used in the original XBOX 360. HDMI scaling is handled by the video interface chip. Compared to the original XBOX, this is really the only major chip difference. As for the CD drive, many people have complained about the loud noise coming from their systems, considering the lengths that Microsoft went to enhancing the XBOX 360, the Elite uses the same Hitachi LD drive used in other models instead of using a quieter solution. If it bothers you, turn the volume up!
Other Thoughts: Can't beat the high graphics! The larger 120GB Hard Drive along with the new HDMI output port that enhances high resolution gaming... you can't go wrong! Buy it! Here!

Awesome
Pros: This thing is awesome. As always, Newegg shipped this thing fast. Comes with 2 great games, a huge hard drive, wireless controller and everything you need to get started. What else could you ask for?
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Go Big is not a new promotion for the 65 nm chip, its a Holiday Bundle. If you get any new Elite (Go Big or not) it is not necessarily the 65 nm chip.
The Go Big Elite I got was the old style chip. It doesn't matter if it is the old style chip or the new one, both run the same games the same way, except the newer one is cheaper in production and should run slightly cooler. There is NO evidence that the 65 nm chip will not give RROD (some people claimed to get RROD with a 65 nm chip).
Whether you receive the old style chip or the new one, it comes with a 2 year warranty for the RROD. It is all luck, but if it does break, Microsoft is extremely fast at getting it fixed and back to you.
The "Go Big" Elite I received was not a 65 nm chip, and it runs great.

PLease site your references.
Pros: Go big DOES NOT have any reference to the 65 nm chip. I can verify that I have a 65 nm chip, and Go Big was not printed on the box i recieved.
Cons: RROD?
Other Thoughts: I am getting tired of seeing these little arguments everywhere. People who insist on forcing their opinons down others' throats should do a little research, and be prepared with accurate information.

The last reviewer missed the point about 'go big'
Pros: It's an xbox 360
Cons: Too expensive
Other Thoughts: 'Go big' is new advertising blurb added to the packaging for the newer 65nm cpu xbox elite's. So if the box has that it's much more likely, possibly definite, that you have the newer, cooler running xbox which in theory should have a reduced chance of overheating to give the ring of death.

no go big? get outta here man.
Pros: 120gb hdd, slick black color that matches all my pc gaming gear, eggcelent selection of games.
Cons: it doesnt do the laundry too.
Other Thoughts: to the last reviewer, I dont know what planet you are from, or what you think "go big" meant, but I got a good laught out of your post. "go big" is the elite's marketing slogan and nothing more. it refers to the 120gb hard drive, and bigger price tag that comes with it. i actually felt a little sorry for you when I read that review.

Just Hope it works
Pros: Excellent system, graphics, and game play.
Cons: Hope it doesn't break!!! I got the eliet console because of all the problems they have had with the regular 360's. Within the first 6 months it was fried! Called xbox to get it repaired. They sent me a prepaid box and i sent it off. I was told i would get it back in 3-4 weeks. Over a month later after i got the BBB involved i got a "new" console...it was broke too! won't see wireless card, or controllers, freezes on the dashoard ect. They want me to send this one in for repair too! so within the first 6 months i have to be without it for over 2 months!!! and all they want to offer me is a arcade game for my inconvience!!! VERY POOR customer service, half the people you talk to you can't understand cause they are in milan! If you get one just hope you don't have to deal with it breaking!
Other Thoughts: I have a PS3, and Wii, gameplay and graphics are the pretty much the same between the 360 and PS3. Load times are a little faster with the PS3 but other then that they are similar. The fact that you can play blu-ray movies without having to buy additional drives makes up for the lack of games right now for the PS3. Go for the PS3. Sony is much better then microsoft!

Pros: The console comes with a 120GB HDD and a HDMI cable, something the other models do not come with. Great game library, and more titles to come. It also comes with two games and a free month of Xbox live gold. 3 year warranty covering the red ring of death hardware failure. Wireless accessories, but all three consoles have that. Has the 2nd heat sink for the GPU.
Cons: Has the potential to brick. DVD-ROM is a little loud, but not near as loud as the Dreamcast. Mine came with the lot number of 730, i think. Elites don't plainly tell you the lot number on the back of the console, same with the team name.
Other Thoughts: when I opened the box to take out the 360 I noticed that the top of the console where the hard drive is the plastic was not pushed in all the way on the case. This was easily fixable by pushing it in, and now I can't even tell it happened. If you want to make sure you get a 360 with a Falcon CPU, the 65nm processor, buy it in a store and check the back of the console, the 360 box will allow you to check. Lot number 734 and team FDUO are said to have that CPU. As for newegg, great service as expected.

A system for a true gamer
Pros: Amazing console with everything you could want. Download full xbox games from live, rent HD movies, play old games and more all in one box. It is also a media center extender, which is a great thing that none of the other consoles have. HDMI, MASSIVE hard drive. What more could you want. Oh an great games
Cons: Ehh, could have come with an integrated HD DVD drive and/or WIFI. Some have said that theirs have died,I have never had that problem and MS has a warranty of 3 YEARS!! thats more than some cars.
Other Thoughts: Great buy, so dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

XBOX 369
Pros: Awesome gaming system. Forza is a great game, very similar to GT4 for playstation.
Cons: Freezes up sometimes, but I don't think I have ever had a game system that didn't
Other Thoughts: Also acts as a media center extender-connects your xbox to a media center enabled pc on your network so you can watch live or recorded tv on your tv connected to the xbox

Great 360
Pros: This is the 360 to have...huge hard drive and free two games...and color is the best of all the color options 360s have...you cant go wrong...
Cons: lil loud...but all 360 are like that no matter which one you get...but overall A+++
