Pros: I like the xbox 360 more than I thought I would.

Cons: Need Xbox Live Gold to use multiplayer portions of games. Need MS points to buy arcade items, and there's a lot of them. They charge for a lot of trivial stuff on xbox live, 10 dollars to change your gamertag.

I bought the RE5 bundle, which was deactivated before I even received it. I had problems with the disk, MS support was no help. Newegg support was no help, kept sending me to MS support. And MS support kept sending me to the publisher of the game, and the publisher would send me to MS. The Xbox call center is located in Asia, probably the Phillipines and you will find yourself repeating a question 5x in different ways before they begin to understand what you want.

If the price drops on these items, which it did by 100 and then 50 dollars mail-in in the last 2 months. Microsoft and Newegg WILL NOT PRICE MATCH.

Other Thoughts: It's quite a lucrative little business Xbox has, and while I think it's a neat toy charging for everything on top of needing a yearly subscription is irksome. They created Xbox Points which are basically like buying gift cards at a particular store, it's money that can only be spent on Xbox items. It makes it harder to follow exactly how much money you are spending on Xbox items.

Add on products tend to run pretty high as well.

Bottom line: It's a neat system, but you will be paying to enjoy it. And if you ever have any unconventional problems with your xbox support is very lacking. RROD however seems to be conventional, which means if your system dies anywhere from a 25-55% chance by reports it is all over their website how to deal with it. Once you buy in via console purchase, they nickel and dime you and provide very little useful support or help.

Pros: This bundle is great it has almost everything you could ever need for your 360. The games are also a big plus since they are kind of expensive about $80 and if your buying a 360 your eventually going to get Halo 3 any ways. Both games are really good and suprisingly addictive I bought the system because of Halo 3 not really caring much for Fable 2 but after playing through both games Ive got to say Fable 2 was alot more fun and addictive ive probably spent 8 hours playing through Halo 3 and probably spent 40+ hours on fable and im about to start it over so it again to see some of the different out comes.

Cons: Headset is kind of cheap feeling but all of microsofts wired ones do. Its the Falcon Chipset instead of the Jasper but it stille runs great.

Other Thoughts: Even though ive heard alot of rumors about the 360 getting overheated and really hot only after an hour or 2 of play mine hasnt gotten hot even once. Even after over 10 hours straight of gameplay the air coming out the back and the case its self feels amazingly cool even colder then room tempurature. System also has a 1 year manufacture warranty and a 3 year RRoD warranty.

Pros: Price, you get everything, and I mean everything. 120gb HD, HDMI cable (which is like 50 bucks alone) and 2 great games. Easy setup and comes right on w/o a hitch. They even included batteries for the controller ;)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Disc tray can be kinda loud, not really a con though since you normally are entranced by the graphics and fail to notice. Also, Halo 3 and Fable 2 come in the same case... might not bother some but kinda annoyed me.

Pros: FALCON CHIPSET! Very Quiet, 120 gb hard drive, looks very good. two good games, hdmi cable & standard component. FREE SHIPPING. Great buy for the money.

Cons: Replacing batteries may be an issue.

buying xbox live might not be a bad deal but having played live before i might not want to deal with all the immature people that play on live. other than that they have added alot of great features to live including netflix so its not a terrible deal

Cons: These will all be Falcons. xbox live gold is $50 which is required for online gaming and netflix. The wireless adapter is not included. The controller uses AA batteries unless you pay extra for the recharge kit, or rechargeable batteries.

Other Thoughts: Don't wrap your xbox in towels, you'll cause further damage to the machine.

Pros: Best bundle offered online. You obviously can't get this deal in stores unless it's special ordered somehow. $400 and you get the 360, a 120gb HDD, and 2 free, but exceptional, games. That already pays for itself. You'll end up buying Halo and fable 2 if you're an xbox gaming enthusiast as it is. The HDMI cord is an absolute plus when buying this bundle, as it will run you 40 dollars later on if you obviously want to play in HD. The two games and the HDMI cord alone would run you $100+, so why not be a consciences consumer and purchase this package. A separate 120GB HDD will cost you $120+ ALONE. It came within 3 days of ordering, without any visible damage to the box or components. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: I honestly don't have any significant cons, besides it keeping my room nice and toasty after leaving it on for 15+ hours at a time. It get's a little warm, but really be a problem unless you WRAP IT IN TOWELS. If you purchased this and had to return for a defect, PLEASE don't deduct 4 eggs.. unless It's a fact of life that mass produced technology will never be perfect. I'm basing my overall rating on the quality of the product in WORKING condition, and newegg's quality of service in providing me this item. If I went through 4 bundles to get a working xbox, that on the other hand is a different story. Do me a favor, if you end up getting the RROD.. let Microsoft honor their warranty, don't try to fix it yourself by ripping it open or wrapping towels around it in hopes to "re-melt the cracked solder". Ive that with friends in the past, multiple times, and the 360 was reduced to a fancy doorstop.

Other Thoughts: I bought this bundle two months ago. I had honestly been waiting it out to buy a bundle with the new chip, which was the only way to ensure it at the time. So I kept reading reviews on jasper vs. falcon chipsets and I came to a conclusion. The only REAL reason people care about the new chipset, is to escape RROD. What's wrong with you people? Who cares if you get a RROD on a falcon, when you JUST bought it..there's an exclusive warranty on the red ring of death for 3 YEARS. I can understand if you're upset about buying falcon early, and you're warranty has expired.. but people who JUST bought this bundle are complaining about not receiving the new chip. WHY? YEA it's smaller, produces less heat and accompanies a 150w power brick, but what the RROD likelihood dropped maybe 20%! jasper's aren't invulnerable to overheating. It's what 10nm smaller than falcon? Calm down and enjoy nonstop gaming for 15 hours, because even if you can fry eggs and bacon on 360..you're covered.

Pros: NewEgg is amazing on customer service. This console looks great and is usually top notch.

Cons: I bought this one to replace my RROD launch date 360. I tried to repair it with no luck. After 2 weeks and approx. 6 hours of play time, I get an error 74 on this console. Good news is it is within my 30 day return window, so I don't have to deal with Microsoft.

Other Thoughts: This is, in my opinion, the best console on the market..........when it works.

Other Thoughts: Buyers beware! some of the xbox elite consoles still have the old falcon chip set. If your looking for a jasper chip set then you can take your chances and pray u don't get the falcon. I was highly disappointed when i found out that i had the Falcon.

Pros: Amazing online community. Xbox live is amazingly well done as opposed to PS3's PSN... thought better than it use to be. I do own both so I'm allowed to say it. Amazing selection of games. Also XBOX 360 upconverts or downconverts all games to desired resolution if using a HDTV or a computer monitor unlike the PS3.

Cons: RROD. It loses 1 egg for that. I'm getting a repair kit in about 1-8 weeks cause so it should be up and running again.

Other Thoughts: I bought a refurb 360 from some site that was not authorized for refurbs which it stated no where on its site so I'm out of luck on warranty cause of them. Next time I'm just going to buy from newegg.

Pros: Great gaming system, looks sleek, lots of storage space, comes with Halo 3 and Fable 2!

Pros: If you are a hardcore console gamer, this is the console for you. Cheaper than the PS3 and has pretty much every game that it has and even more, Halo 3 and Fable 2 included in the box? Thats a great deal! HDMI and 1080P support as well as the HDMI cable included. Xbox Live is the best online gaming service in the modern day and its just expanding, if you have a windows based PC you can steam music,video and pictures to your xbox using the Zune software, there are so many features that i couldnt explain in this review, but all of them are amazing and work together in great harmony.

Cons: People complain about how Xbox360's break and get the RROD. Simple way to avoid this is make sure your console is in a properly ventilated area and that you dont leave it on for more than 6-8 hours. If you do get the RROD Microsoft offers a 3 year warranty! Or if your a techy then open up the xbox yourself and fix it, theres tons of walkthrough videos on how to open and fix the problem and it will only cost you about $15 and about a half hour of time.

Other Thoughts: Dont buy a PS3, unless your a sony fan-boy who gets a hard-on over G of War, oh and Metal Gear Solid is now coming to xbox360....

Pros: The one I purchased from newegg was manufactured in July 2008, so it doesn't contain the Jasper chips, but I am satisfied with Falcon anyway.

I like that newegg doesn't charge local tax. The money that I saved by not paying that was almost enough for a year of xbox live gold membership.

This is a great deal with Halo 3 and Fable 2.

Cons: The box was opened when I received it, but it didn't look like anything had been touched. I'm not really sure why it was like that, but everything seems fine, so it isn't a big deal.

As mentioned above, this doesn't contain the Jasper chips. I think the only elite systems that did were from the Resident Evil Limited Edition bundle.

Other Thoughts: It took a lot for me to actually buy this. Microsoft changes the parts inside the 360 so often that I am always waiting for the next latest and greatest. I am pleased now that I have it though.

Cons: The seal on the xbox looked to have two seals the one of which was on the bottom appeared to be broken with a new circular seal applied. So it looked like my xbox box has been opened! I got the Open box unit for the brand new price! It is not the jasper chipset either even though its the new bundle of elite consoles. Pretty disappointing

Karkarov is incorrect. The newer Elite systems with Haslo and Fable 2 bundle do not always have a Jasper Chipset.
I went thru 5 of these Units at my local Best Buy and we found no Jasper units.
The way you tell if you have a Jasper chipset is to take the Xbox out of its container and look at the White Serial number Sticker.
If the sticker has 12V...12.1A then you have a Jasper Unit.
We opened one Arcade box and these seem to have the Jasper Chipset.
So if you want to latest Jasper chipset it appears that the Arcade system is the one to buy currently.
But to be sure you have to check the sticker.

Cons: Buyer Beware if your looking for the New Jasper Chipset.

Cons: It only worked for an hour. This is my 3rd xbox, the newest versions were supposed to be better with the newest chipsets, but after an hour of play the screen would go black and then give me two red lights. I thought maybe it was a bad hdmi cable so I tried the composite cables and the same thing happened.

Other Thoughts: Stick to the pc or ps3.

Pros: Elegance in simplicity to say the least, great graphics and overall pleased with the purchase.

For you afterdawn fans lets just say it's a breeze

Cons: Prior to the above, the unit froze within 5 minutes of playing fable 2, and about 1 hour into halo.

Other Thoughts: I followed some others advise on installing the games directly to the H.D.D. and they seem to be ok now, kinda sad that despite after updating the firmware microsoft (or the game developers... kinda hard to tell who's at fault here) haven't fixed the major freezing issues with the console.

Pros: Amazing, AMAZING PRICE from Newegg, free shipping and I got the system within 2 days, just incredible. Best verison of the 360 out right now and includes two of the best games ever made with the system. Halo 3, best FPS on the XBOX and Fable is the best RPG on the system. Just a great deal.

Pros: Getting this bundle for the price of just an Xbox Elite is an amazing deal. I was planning on driving to Best Buy or something to buy this but looked online and saw it at newegg with no shipping or tax. Delivery was quick.

Other Thoughts: Halo 3 and Fable 2 are incredible games. I have spent an untold number of hours playing halo 3 online at friends houses and I have no intentions to stop. I don't see myself ever getting bored of playing it and if you like FPS's this game will last you years with online multiplayer. Fable 2 is supposed to be one of the better RPG's for the system and so far I have certainly not been disappointed.

Pros: It's an awesome deal for a great system. Got here in less than two days from the order date on 3 day shipping.

Cons: The packaging smells really nasty.

Pros: if you are getting a 360 this is it, it has fable 2 and halo 3 bundled both of which are at the least good games (fable 2 is great if you ask me) and the 120 gig hard drive. Also bear in mind this is one of the only ways you can currently purchase the new jasper chipset (the current highest end architecture of the 360) in an elite package. Disks are not that loud and yes if you install to the hd the noise becomes basically non existent. With 120 gigs you have plenty of room for it too.

Cons: No wireless adapter packaged which is sad, the controller is also not rechargable which is one of the few things ps3 does right that xbox doesnt.

Other Thoughts: If you need the adapter it does cost but then again it isnt like this package is cheap to begin with so you can probably afford it. Honestly this is one of if not the best deal in home consoles right now. If you have thought about a 360 but waited this is probably as good as it will ever get.

Pros: Comes with Halo 3 and Fable 2 for the price of an elite. The 120 GB is a great addition along with the headset. Good bang for your buck.

Cons: Sadly unlike the other two consoles out there the Xbox doesn't come with a built-in wireless adapter. Also when playing games the disk drive becomes really loud. I have yet to try if installing games to the hard drive will cut the noise level. I also kinda wish it came with VGA cables too (had to buy separately for my computer monitor).

Other Thoughts: Overall, if your thinking about buying a 360 I highly recommend this bundle. Comes with Halo 3 and Fable 2 and a 120 GB hard drive. I'm really glad I bought this.

Pros: Just like previous elite versions however this one comes with Halo 3 and Fable 2 which makes it much more appealing and if bought separately would cost almost $100 more.

Cons: For some idiotic reason it would not read the Fable 2 disc though I have read this is a problem with the game itself and not the xbox. I ended up having to rub the disc with a little bit of water and it finally read it and then I installed it to the HDD.

Other Thoughts: Comes in a fancy shoe box like package however the xbox itself is placed at the top instead of under the other stuff to protect it which I thought was kinda stupid. I don't like the fact that it does not have built in wireless and you have to purchase a separate (and way overpriced) wireless adapter for it if you want to use wireless with it. That is really my only complaint so far though.
