Cons: AI is insanely hard sometimes and is a great shot if you dont use cover and youll need to heal yourself constantly. The battlefield games have had vehicles down for a while and this game is no exception. The destructible environments are great. The laid back humor of the game is fun. N/A Tech Level: somewhat high Ownership: 1 day to 1 week This user purchased this item from Newegg	7/20/2009 8:54:05 AM Pros: -Game looks pretty good -Frostbite Engine really pulls through, great destruction -A single player with good dialogue and a fairly decent story, a first for Battlefield -Persistent multiplayer with a leveling and unlock system Cons: -Lots of bugs, including but not limited to: Flickering shadows Disappearing and random pop ins by NPC's and debris Teleporting team mates Viewmodel animations not working -The single player respawn system feels uncomfortable with often extremely long walks and no regard for dying Other Thoughts: Newegg sent me the Greatest Hits version and not the pictured release version, kind of makes me unhappy. For every thing I found I didn't like about BF:BC, there was the great gameplay to keep me liking it. I'd give it a 7/10 but newegg scales on a 1-5. Did you find this review helpful? The common unlocks and ranking system are used in multiplayer and both work well to keep the gamer engaged in advancing in the multiplayer component. The controls are relatively intuitive with a learning curve of about 5 to 10 minutes. The game in general has been designed to have some gameplay depth with out being too complicated to scare away the casual gamer. Various classes allows the player to spawn with various specialties - each one being integral in winning the battle. Working as a team, specifically a squad, is critical. The multiplayer maps are balanced and large. The destructible environment (causing explosions galore at times) adds a new element to the game and creates new tactical strategies. Decent banter between your teammates. Cons: In comparison to other shooters I've played on the 360 (Call of Duty 3, 4, 5, Ghost Recon, Vegas) there's just something lacking in this game. Gameplay is missing intelligent enemies. And when you have your sights on a soldier it takes half a clip to down him. Short bursts don't kill anyone in this game. And if you flank your enemies they always seem to know where you are. Also, some maps have so little enemies to kill you are just plain disappointed. Good thing I didn't buy this at full price! BOOM Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 month to 1 year	12/25/2008 2:36:37 PM Wheeeee Pros: Great multiplayer (think COD with vehicles), good voiceovers, you can do almost anything like running around with the sniper rifle close ranging or just blowing things up, great maps, almost no lag if you have a good connection. Cons: Singleplayer is not what you buy this for. It takes a second for a vehicle to explode after killing it, That means shooting a car about to splatter you with a rocket launcher WILL NOT SAVE YOU. If you haven't played another Battlefield game, then you can't get the F2000. Register if you have. Other Thoughts: Best weapons: Assault, Rifles: M16, F2000 for close Demolition, Shotgun: NS2000, USAS 12 for long Recon, Snipers: VS5 for short-mid, M90 for Longgggggg Specialist, SMG's: PP2000 for short, UMP for mid, XM8-C for long Support, SAW's: MG-36, M60 for helicopter defense Always remember to aim for the head. Fun to play, big area on each lvl, most of the stuff in game can be destoryed such as bridges, trees and even houses. Cons: ah... let me think... Some objective are pretty much the same thing, after a while gameplay could be little solid. and and... Probably little easy with the unlimited life recharger. and... Ah can't think of any more. Other Thoughts: This is one of the game I can picture older guys in pajama holding a shot gun playing and laugh his head off. When most people play this they would skip the pajama part. The single player is really intense and I found myself laughing out loud, yes i was lol'ing! The plot is pretty cool too, something a little new and out of the ordinary. The controls don't take getting used to at all, infact i think this game's controls make the most sense out of any FPS ive played on 360. The graphics are great and the sound is awesome! It sounds like your in a war in your room! And of course my favorite part of the game, EVERYTHING IS DESTRUCTIBLE! Need to get into a building with out going through the line of fire? No problem just switch over to your grenade launcher and blow a hole in the wall! Also, the multiplayer is absolutely addicting. Its the funnest game ive ever played online, it beats CoD4 by a mile if you ask me. Just being able to destroy everything, trees, walls, even the ground, its just soooo much fun! if you have this game you know what i mean, if you don't have it, get it! You wont regret it. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Weapons, there are about 25 different weapons in the game, and in multiplayer each and everyone is very unique and great in its own way. At first Gold Rush was the only game type available but now there is a free Conquest update. Cons: Team AI is pretty weak. Enemy AI can be a little too good at spotting/shooting at you. No clan support for multiplayer. No team speak, only squad speak (while some what of a con, it is a pro too since squad can be loud enough as it is and it pushes squad mentality). Other Thoughts: Sweet game. Love the multiplayer. Some guns are better then others but its all about trigger control and leading your target. Did you find this review helpful? Nynjatic Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month	7/2/2008 4:15:28 AM BF:BC is a MUST BUY! Pros: Best Single Player out of all the games in the Battlefield series. Extremely good multiplayer and with destructible scenery it only makes the game a lot better. All the maps are huge. Cons: Some weapons are way to over powered, but thats will be found in any game. Only one gametype is currently available to play, but another is going to be added very soon. There is no Clan support and no way to set up Private Matches. They might release those in a future patch, but nothings is confirmed yet. Other Thoughts: Gold Rush is the only gametype that ships with the game, but it's a lot of fun. Conquest is going to be released in a few weeks after game launch. The reason I say it's a must buy and only give it 4 out of 5 eggs is because the clan support and private matches not coming with the game. Cons: two complaints that keep it from a 5 star: 1.) there is only one online game variant. Cons: VERY LIMITED MULTIPLAYER, currently BF: Bad Company has only 1 multiplayer gametype, however i have heard rumors of more gametypes to be added in? i hope so~ also; no privite match options or co-op. Awesome... Cons: To me it's not quite as open nor has all the same features as bf2. Also there's not a practice mode like in bf2 but I don't really miss it.
