Terrible experience
Pros: This is a "complete package" with various accessories and earpieces and comes in a very sleek package.
Cons: The unit did not work right out of the box - after charging for three hours, the ear piece was non-responsive. So much for the "easy mating" that the unit touts.
Now, I have to return it for replacement - newegg quotes the return package at $9 - almost half the price of the unit. What happens if the replacement unit is unresponsive again?
Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

Great Price, comfortable, audio good, but...
Pros: Sound Quality is great. Microphone is perfect, remote side can hear your voice perfect. Some people say that the noise cancelation is lousy, but I found it to bee good. Just dont drive with windows open while using this bluetooth headset. Comes with more accessories than you need, which is a good thing. Very comfortable if you use the right ear piece size (come with 3)
Cons: The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the earpieces if removed more the 3 or 4 times becomes and sometime detaches from the actual head set. IF YOO BUY it try the earpieces in your ear before you detach and attach them on to the headset.
Other Thoughts: Highly recommended for the price, I've had previous bluetooth that I have to yell so people can hear me, but not with this one.

Plantronics blue tooth headset
Pros: So stylish, so comfortable
Cons: Not worth for the money. Unable to hear the voice from other side or other people are unable to hear voice from my side when I make/ receive calls. Not satisfied with the product overall. Waste of money. No voice cancellation as described in product specifications.

Why bother with anything else!
Pros: This is my 2nd Plantronics bluetooth and again, it's proven to work as advertised.
Cons: no cons

it's ok...
Pros: looks cool, good sound (see below), easy operation, lots of charging options. and relatively inexpensive
Cons: none of the earpieces really "did it" for me - with regard to air seal and stability in the ear. had to use it with the ear clip. interchangeable earpiece and ear clip would fall apart with very little provocation.
Other Thoughts: an in canal ear bud type ear piece and fixed ear clip would make this product near perfect at this price point.

Short Lived
Pros: The Sound Quality Was Great! The Charger Pieces Were Nice Too, There Are A Lot Ways To Charger The Item. Interchangeable Ear Buds, I Could Go On And On About How The Blue Tooth Is Great.
Cons: Only Lasted Four Days . Battery Died, And Won't Hold A Charge. Basically Something Fried The Battery. Tried Charging From The AC Adapter, AAA Charger And The USB. Nothing Seems To Work.
Other Thoughts: It Worked Great For Four Days. Never Had Problem With It Until The Blue Tooth Stop Charging. I Would Buy Another, But Can't Spare The Extra Cash Right Now.

Good at first...
Pros: Sleek look, comfortable, secure, decent sound quality
Cons: Pairing issues.
Now I don't know if this is my phone (LG VX8700) or the headset. But I have bought 2 of these and had them used on 2 different phones, both having pairing issues. Initially they work fine, but after several months, the connection seems to die quite frequently. I wear the headset on the same side as I put the phone. Even when I lay the headset and phone right next to each other, sometimes they would not pair properly, or pair and then promptly disconnect.
Hence, I have given up on using this headset. What about driving and cell phone laws? Guess I'll take my chances!
Other Thoughts: Antec 900 / Asus Rampage Formula / Intel E8400 nVidia GeForce GTX 260 / 8 GB G.Skill DDR2-800

BUYER BEWARE!!! blown speaker, blown light, warranty expired before i even got it.
Pros: i now know to never buy from plantronics again...
Cons: JUST RECIEVED THE ITEM DOA, AND NEWEGGS RMA PAGE SAYS THE WARRANTY IS VOID?!?! how i just got it today? that makes no sense, i am sending it back and better get a new item or refund. I expected more from this company as this is my 3rd bluetooth from them and thought it would actually work, instead i have the following problems; light on charging station is broken, only works when it wants to, speaker was blown right out of the box, calls sound horrible on it, tried attaching it to another dvice even, speaker is for sure blown and i just got it today. also the charging dock does not virbate when calls come in as it says in the description of feautures. its junk!!! buyer beware!!! having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to navigate the site for the return process right now so i can get a new one, which i now see isnt even in stock.
Other Thoughts: I just bought another bluetooth from the same company that works great along with this broken one, so im even more dissapointed by this. i am in the process of returning it right now... whats even worse is that i bought this item as a gift so now i feel like an idiot because it arrived broken, and the item is sold out at newegg, so i will be waiting over a week to get a new one. horribly dissapointed. thought the company had a good reputation since i previously owned 2 of their units with no problems, until now... how is the warranty going to expire before i even get them item?!?! it seems shady to me, they know its junk, why else would they cancel their own warranty?

Not that good
Pros: Charging options, pairs fairly easily
Cons: The audio IQ didn't work well. In fact, it worked the opposite. I can't use it unless I'm in a quiet room. I had people refuse to talk to me if I was driving, in a room with other people, in a store, etc, because the background noise was louder than I was. The earpiece popped off the first day or two, so I lost the ear gel and the ear loop. Now, all I have is two eargels that don't fit right, so when I move my head or even smile, the bt falls out of my ear. That doesn't make for a great product.
Other Thoughts: Plantronics usually makes great headsets. I prefer the wired ones, but when the jack in my cell phone stopped working, I had to go to bt headsets. I wouldn't buy anything with the Audio IQ. I would buy P;antronics again, but not this headset. Buy a different model that doesn't have the Audio IQ.

Decent headset
Pros: Comfortable, fits well, light, good sound quality for the most part.
Silver and black - goes well with the rest of my electronics.
Good charging options (AC, USB and AAA recharger).
Earbuds attach very securely to the headset (see cons though)
Cons: I wish the noise suppression was a little better, when I get on the freeway, and travel at normal speeds (60 to 70 mph) people that I am talking to do complain about the road noise. I have a Honda Fit, and it has terrible sound deadening, and, to be honest, the headset is still quite usable, so this is more of a nit than a deal breaker.
the 3.5 hour talk time seems a bit optimistic, my experience so far has been closer to 2.5 hours. Not a big issue for me, as I mostly use the headset for less than an hour at a time.
The supplied USB cable for the USB charger is really short (8 inches or so), which makes it a bit of a pain to plug into my desktop, which sits on the floor next to me.
Although the earbuds attach very securely, which is a good thing, the amount of pressure needed to attach/detach them is slightly unnerving, and inspires a small amount of concern about breaking the unit.
I wish the blinking lights were more subtle.
Other Thoughts: I use this with my first gen iPhone, and pairing and operation has been a breeze. As with virtually all BT headsets, they work much better with the iPhone's WiFi disabled.
My previous headset was a first gen JawBone, and although the electronics in the JawBone were better, the ergonomics of this headset are much better. With the JawBone I was always adjusting it, and feeling that it could fall out at any minute, with this headset, I put it in, and basically forget that it is there.
Although there is an optional earloop, I use this headset with just the earbud, and have had no issues with it falling out of my ear, even with extended use.
Other headsets that I have owned have very loud indicator sounds, this headset has a short quiet beep for power on, another indicating that it has synced up and another indicator as it goes active - just about perfect IMHO.
On the whole, most of my complaints are mere nits - this is a really nice headset.

Extremely disappointed
Pros: Lightweight, pocket clip, vibration with incoming calls, great and unique charging options, long battery life. I really liked the battery charging options and used it quite often on long trips, which was the selling point on the headset along with the reputation of the manufacturer, before I got other BT headsets.
Cons: I lost the earloop and correct eargel the first time I put it in the pocket clip, which was the same day I received the headset. Everyone I talked to, with the windows closed, radio off, heater/ac fan off, complained about background noise, couldn't hear me at all, and many, including my mom, refused to talk to me until I got to a place where I could use my phone without the BT. I now only use it as a backup when my other 3 BT earsets aren't charged or misplaced. Eargel is poorly designed. It falls out of my ear if I smile, talk, or move my head. Wind noise is highly amplified, along with any other background noise. It was very difficult to hear others due to the background noise on my end amplified in my ear as well. Without ear stabilizer, it's almost impossible to use the answer/end or volume buttons without holding the earset in place with your entire hand. It's defiitely not a one-finger operated device. Very poorly designed. Ear loop stabilizer very cheap. See other thoughts.
Other Thoughts: I have owned quite a few plantronics wired headsets and was thoroughly satisfied with them. I still use them on my home phone. I only switched to bluetooth on my cell when the jack on it broke. I went through many other wired headsets, and Plantronics was the best made. Since the issues with my first BT headset, I have received two headsets from one manufacturer and one from another, and I have not had any issues with any of them. Many of my friends own Plantronics BT headsets, and they are completely satisfied with them, but none of them owned this model. I just think this model is the Edsel of Plantronics. I am rough on headsets, but I took extreme care with this one, and it still fell apart in a parking lot the first time I used it. It wasn't worth buying the replacement parts for it considering the poor reception and talk quality. Wind and background noise are always issues with any headset, but this was insanely ridiculous! Don't get one with the digitally enhanced sound!

This headset is a royal pain to deal with
Pros: Sound quality is descent. Simple to connect to your bluetooth device.
Cons: You will constantly chase parts with this headset. The earloop makes the earbud fall off, the earbud also falls off by itself sometimes. I find it difficult to use the headset without the ear loop. If you lose parts you can't purchase them from Plantronics, they refer you to another company. I personally find the earbuds uncomfortable. I worked as a Police Dispatcher for about 5 years so i am familiar with using ear buds and used to it but these are not comfortable at all.
Other Thoughts: I own 2 of these headsets and both have the same issues. I have also owned a Motorola H700. While the sound quality on the Plantronics is better, the issue with chasing parts around makes the H700 a much better headset. I do not recomend this headset to anyone with small children because if you drop one of the earbuds they aren't exactly easy to find and the child could choke on it.

It's a darn details!
Pros: The sound of the Plantronics 655 is excellent both for the listening and the speaker. I never had a moments difficulty in understanding. Pairing was very simple. Incoming calls "jingle" in your ear and a simply button push answers the call. It does take a second or so before you're actually able to talk over the headset which results in a couple of "hellos" before you're into your conversation but after that it's fine.
Three different ways of charging give you a lot of flexibility and I have found that battery life is good if not actually great.
The price is reasonable.
In general, a good product.
Cons: As near as I can tell unless your ears grip like a monkey the earloop is an absolute necessity. What the thing is detachable and detachable so easily is a mystery. The ear gels lock in place with a twist but in your pocket they will easily come off. As a guesstimate there's a 100% chance that the earloop and one or more gels will fall off and get lost. I ended up getting a new set and gluing it on. That solved the problem but it's really dumb.
Other Thoughts: I'm told that I can't be heard in the car with the windows open or outside when there's any sort of wind. I don't walk down the street talking but based on my experience wind noise is an issue.

Not Good Enough
Pros: Sound volume is good and voice transmission seems to be clear.
Cons: Even when the bluetooth phone is within 24 inches of headset there is static on the line which increases with any movement.
Other Thoughts: I'm just looking for a headset that delivers acceptable quality for a short business call. I haven't found it yet...

Pros: Paired fast with my blackberry, probably the most tolerable in ear headset I have tried.
Cons: Lots of popping if I have it in ear opposite side of phone. Way overestamated bluetooth range, take 10 steps away from phone and it loses connection. Battery life is a joke. Most of the time I have a bad echo from my voice when talking to someone.

Headpiece loose / does not connect well
Pros: Sounds great, has good sound quality when it connects.
Cons: The ear pieces are removable and fall off easily, usually when you are trying to answer the phone. It does not connect reliably to the phone (treo 650) and takes too long when it does connect.
Other Thoughts: Technically this would be a good product if it would hold together and answer the phone... since it will not... avoid this product like the plague.

Quite the gadget
Pros: Perfectly acceptable sound in both directions. Voice dial works just fine with the Motorola Razr Verizon sold me. More than adequate talk and standby time for the normal user. And it's so small!!
Cons: None so far (We have 3).
Other Thoughts: Off the subject but important: You just can't beat the order fulfillment from NewEgg. If they say it's in stock then it usually beats the projected delivery date. I'm a fan....

Does NOT vibrate when in your ear
Pros: Small and light
Cons: The headset does not vibrate when it's in your ear. It only vibrates when it is in its "pocket."
Other Thoughts: My first bluetooth headset was a Jabra 350 which vibrates whenever a call is received. It finally went on the fritz so I replaced it with a Jabra 125, which I soon realized does not vibrate. So, I started looking for a good vibrating headset. I settled on the Plantronics 655. I received it today, charged it, paired it, put it in my ear, called my cell and...NO VIBRATION. That's right, it only vibrates when it's in its "pocket" which is used for charging. That does me no good. I need the vibrate feature in my ear because I can't hear the quiet little ring while driving in my car with the music turned up. So, this headset is worthless to me. I'll return it and will probably have to get another vibrating Jabra.

Great bluetooth
Pros: Great unit, love the choices in charging, no problems with pairing with Motorola E815 (no longer making this model of phone), terrific range, as long as there is no metal or pipes in between (ie: bathroom, laundry room). Can still have paired while charging. Lights a bit bright when driving at night (thought a cop was pulling me over at first..lol) Battery life good; I loved the charging options. Very comfortable to wear with or without earloop. Never had the signal drop.
Cons: Digitally enhanced sound works too well. It enhances ALL sounds. Had to roll up all widows in van, turn off radio, and ask daughter to stay quiet while I was talking (very difficult with a teen). Borrowed a friend's work van which rattles a lot with tools, metal shelves, etc, so I couldn't use it at all in that vehicle because no one could hear me and some refused to talk to me while I was driving. Lost one earpiece and earloop first week I had it because they easily came off, almost lost a second one, but found it quickly; now have to replace the earloop and get extra earpieces.
Other Thoughts: Great product, although I would probably buy a different Plantronics model next time. I now use a Jabra that a friend gave me most of the time (which does the same thing with the sound, but not as bad and has better battery life). I don't regret my purchase in the least. I mainly use it at home so that both of my hands are free to do work and type on the computer. Would recommend product to people who do not work in a noisy environment. I would love it if the volume would go a bit louder, but it may be because of working around loud equipment for over 20 years, though, and have the same wish for the Jabra. Great product for the price.

Digitally Dehanced Sound
Pros: Size, Style, Comfort
Cons: Sound is absolutely horrible, sometimes it sounded ok but most of the time I couldn't use it at all becasue the sound was so bad. rma'd back to newegg with restocking fee
Other Thoughts: I've been using a 640 for over a year now and loved it, hardly anyone would even know that I was using an earpiece with is awesome. Thought I would "upgrade" since my 640 was a little banged up, the digital enhancement does not work and only criples the device. It's so bad I don't see how it's even usually, who know though since they're actually are some positive reviews though maybe it's a problem with my treo 700wx, but I doubt it.

So so product.
Pros: Usability is very nice. I really like that it answers the call when it is removed from the holster great when your driving. Redial is also nice. Battery life has never been a problem.
Cons: Very poor range.. I get about 1.5 - 3 feet before it is unusable. Paired it to a Samsung SCH-i730 PDA. Cannot use with the phone in my pocket. Not very durable. Ear jell is now completely unusable after a year of use. Belt clip broke after about 8 months of use. People started complaining that they cannot hear me after about 6 months of use.
Other Thoughts: This was an ok product when I first purchased it. I am disappointed with the products deterioration especially considering the price tag and brand name.

Nice, sensitive, but nice
Pros: Nice range, voice commands work much better than on my previous bluetooth headset.
Cons: A little too sensitive to background noise, while driving or walking through the mall the person on the other end can hear what everyone else around me is saying.

DO NOT BUY THIS
Pros: the portable charge accessory is a GREAT idea. Wish they all had it
Cons: Only usable if my ear is ON the computer / phone it is connected to. Even then feedback is that it sounds "tinny".

Awesome headset
Pros: Really nice charging flexibility. Integrates nicely with my Treo. It has a number of neat features but my favorite is the pocket clip/charger, when the phone rings, removing it from the clip automatically answers the phone. No buttons to press. Way better than other headsets I have owned.
Cons: So far, none really. Reception can get crackly if you step too far from the phone, but I think this is universal with the current bluetooth standard.

Awfull headset
Pros: Comfortable to wear. Lightweight.
Cons: Poor reception (I had to carry the cell phone on the same side than the headset to minimize the chopping). The added static noise makes hearing a difficult task.
Other Thoughts: Compared with the Voyager 510 this is plain crp. IQ technology???

nice ear piece
Pros: Fits ear well. Clear audio incoming & transmit. Seals w/ ear to decrease outside noise. Syncd w/ 4 phones & going. Charging options. Voice dial.
Cons: Silicone looses seal occasionally, not too hard to reseal tho. Range but that's what you get w/ BT. Price is a bit high compared to other Plantronics that have just as good of a signal.
Other Thoughts: This is a very nice piece, a little over priced but you do pay for quality. There are some that Plantronics that make that are less $ give about the same quality but you won't be disappointed in this device.

Sounds good
Pros: 1.Sound quality very good 2.Comfort on ear, excellent 3.Compatability, very good 4.Emergency charging using AAA battery, excellent 5. Newegg excellent service
Cons: 1. Too many little componente without a case to hold them. 2.Cannot receive acceptable mp3 audio from my notebook 3. battery life short 4. very expensive
Other Thoughts: Considering the alternative, it is the best I found after using, Jabra, Motorolla, and other Plantronics BT headsets

Decent Headset
Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, my ear doesn't feel like it's been violated after wearing it for long periods of time. Battery life is good. Range is decent but it's best to keep your phone close.
Cons: Feels loose without the "ear-grabber" attachment. "Ear grabber" attachment requires proper adjustment to insure comfort. Expensive
Other Thoughts: I bought a wired and a bluetooth headset at the same time. Definitely better sound out of the wired twenty buck headset but wires are such a pain to deal with. I use the 655 all the time and never use the wired headset anymore. First bluetooth I've owned and I like it.

Ok product
Pros: Heard a lot of good things about this. Has an interesting charging system that is portable. Means that is easily charged from different sources. Good if you are organized and always charge from the same place or can safely bring the entire charging contraption wherever you go.
Cons: Has an interesting charging system that is portable. Means that is not as easily charged by leaving chargers around in different areas. Bad if you are disorganized and always charge catch as catch can.
Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if you could use its fancy charging system or directly charge the unit by plug directly to the unit.

Great, but expected better ranged
Pros: Well built, discovered instantly, works great and easy to use, has portable AAA charger with it. Cradle is well built as well.
Cons: Needs direct line of sight or you get static although it will work while it's in your pocket if your sitting, static if your standing
Other Thoughts: Don't forget to read manual for discovery mode, power on/off and button uses

Better than most...
Pros: A good combination of function and form providing clear sound and comfortable fit.
Cons: Lack of noise cancelling in the mic means background noises like car engine or wind can sometimes drown out the voice. Relatively short battery life.
Other Thoughts: Have used a lot of different Blue Tooth ear piece, this is probably one of the better ones out there for the price. Getting closer to about 2-1/2 hours of talk time as opposed to the advertised 3 to 4.

First BT headset
Pros: Excellent sound, very comfortable to wear without an earloop.
Cons: The eartip falls off too frequently for my tastes, and I can't figure out how to order replacements from Plantronics. I'm going to lose that eartip one day!
Other Thoughts: The only time I've had complaints while using this was when I in the car with the radio blasting and the windows open. I turned down the radio, and the complaints ended. They couldn't tell I was on a headset.

Mediocre
Pros: Small, light, and has more charging options than usual
Cons: You will need the charging options as the battery life is terrible. Most headsets do not last the listed number of hours, but this one is very poor.
Other Thoughts: Not really easy to carry, as it will fall apart in your pocket. You will need to hunt for the ear gel and ear loop when you get a call, and it is just not worth it.

Awesome!
Pros: good sound quality with my lg vx8300, light weight, optional ear loop not needed (at least for me), can use the headset while the phone is on the other side of your body (unlike other ones lol), different charging options are awesome
Cons: two SMALL ones: buttons are a bit hard to push when wearing the headset (i just use the volume buttons on the phone instead - problem solved!), and i've accidentally hung up on people cause i'm not used to the many-functioned main button. but i've only had it for a week! neither of these problems would deter me from getting this headset though.

Just an average headset, underperform
Pros: Very comfortable to wear, light, well built, nice design, multiple charging options
Cons: Sound quality is not clear as other BT headset in the same price range. AudioiQ DSP the marketing gimmick, worsen the sounds instead of cleaning it.
Other Thoughts: BT headset is a very personal thing, some designs might work for you but not for other people. I like everything about this 655 headset except the sound quality. That is the most important part. I've used numbers of BT devices over the last 3 years. I've tried Jabra, Plantronics, Nokia, Motorolla and bunch of other not well known brands. I prefer Jabra and then Plantronics second after. Too bad, this 655 doesn't have clean sound as the old Voyager. I've tested the 655 and found that the DSP actually worsen the sound, not sure if I have the defective unit. I got complains about cutting in and out from other parties. Once I turn the DSP off, the sound is better. That is the outgoing sounds. I have no problems with incomimg sound. I never had this problem with the old Jabra BT500 and. I replaced the BT500 with this headset because the BT500 is uncomfortable for me. I like the plantronics design better. I exchanged the 655 for the 640 which doesn't have DSP and it works better for me.

Pros: good price, ear plugs are good, can exchange with you ear.
Cons: I can't get the vol. enough higher. the person on the other the phone hear static, blocks out some of call. not very good in this area I guess.
Other Thoughts: NewEgg refund it except 15% and that is ok. and fast.

It's okay
Pros: Clear when near. Small in design and fits well in the ear because of the different gell adapters. Great volume
Cons: Clear when near. I would have to wear it depending on which side my phone is next to me. The range is very short. about five feet.

Not Bad, Not Great for Treo650
Pros: Small, stylish, charging options, loud volume, decent battery life (2-4 hours) depending on conversation. - Distance for usage up to 15-20 ft at times though quality poor at largest distances. Can allow you to be free to do stuff around your cubicle/water cooler. - Paired 1x for Skype usage on thinkpad, worked okay - though quality compromise compared to built in thinkpad mic/headphone.
Cons: - DSP works in quieter environments mostly- walking on street people listening to me complain about windnoise. - For cars without silent interiors (I drive 94 Acura Integra), DSP is practically impossible for listeners to understand me - they complain all the time so I go back to wired earpiece mic- if you turn off the DSP it is tolerable for them, but not good. - At times you hear "crackling" sound interference between 5-20 ft distance of if on other side of body.
Other Thoughts: These could be Treo650 issues but I noticed: - Delay of a few seconds after call is placed and other side answers leading them to ask, "hello? hello?" but is tolerable. - Pairing decent for days, then some days/hours, will NOT pair at all or will pair after call is initiated and you have pushed pair button several times during the call with several beeps heard, but only the 2-3rd beep will pair - then a few seconds delay which might take up to 10 seconds of aggravation. But this problems seems to be temporarily solved by going to Treo650 BT Control Panel, repairing and re-entering passkey.

I was hoping for better!
Pros: It is light weight, an ear loop is not necessary, and it comes with a number of charging options.
Cons: The headset does not fit well in the ear. The angle of the ear piece just doesn't seem to be designed right. I have gotten a number of complaints that I fade in and out when talking on the headset. It is also difficult to push the button, and I often hang up on people trying to transfer calls to the headset.
Other Thoughts: Altogether I think this is a poorly designed item and would not recommend it.

Pros: Soft comfortable ear gel makes it possible to wear the headset for extended periods of time. The sound quality is much better than other headsets I've had in the past, I particularly like the fact that you can charge the device practically anywhere.
Cons: There is no noise canceling, so if you are in a noisy area such as the car or a store, people on the other end will hear you plus everything else going on around you, making it extremely difficult to carry on a conversation.
Other Thoughts: I don't understand why companies can't seem to come up with a way to cancel out background noise and only pickup your voice. I will likely be getting rid of this headset once the Jawbone headset I've ordered arrives. Jawbone boasts the capability to pickup only your voice through the vibrations in your jaw bone when you activate the noise canceling.

Cute
Pros: Cute package, tiny, charges in your pocket or via USB. Loud and clear reception, better than average microphone. This is a great price for this headset.
Cons: No BT headset currently on the market can beat a ten dollar wired headset with a boom that puts the mike in front of your mouth. Why doesn't anyone make a BT headset with a long boom??? I want one!
Other Thoughts: Had some trouble talking cell-phone-to-cell-phone when I wore this headset and my friend on the other end wore a different headset. Both headsets worked fine if one of us did not use the headset, but the two headsets seemed to interfere (we were in different places with good cellular reception). My guess is that both headsets use noise cancelling which were mutually incompatible. I suspect this might be a problem with other combinations, or it might be an artifact of the 655's fancy DSP. I do not know for sure. Try the Jabra 500 -- for half the money it is just as good (although not as cute).

Small, Cool Accessories,
Pros: * Small size * different size ear peices * Includes earloop in needed * a few different charging options
Cons: * battery life does not seem very good * using buttons jams the device into your ear * Range is just ok * Sounds average
Other Thoughts: This is my 5th different ear peice. I must say I was a little disappointed in the buttons, as they are difficult to push. Battery life is much less than expected.
Overall, I think it is a good ear peice, and I really like the small size.
This one only sounds (on the other end) slightly better than the Explorer 320. The best sounding bluetooth for cutting wind and noice has been the logitech traveler.

Discovery 655
Pros: Bluetooth, lightweight and sound quality is decent...........
Cons: the range itsnt all that good, and it picks up the wind and amplifies it in my case. If my 8525 is on the left side of my waist and the 655 is in my right ear i get static and the person on the call complains that im cutting up...
Other Thoughts: im not too crazy about it, althou i still find it better than thoes motorola BT headsets.

Treo 680
Pros: Light weight. Good sound. Works well with the Treo 680. Does some advance call features (redial). Charging options can not be beat.
Cons: Real good on picking up back ground noise. Would not recommend for folk driving noisy cars. Has the shortest range of my earpieces, been trough about 12 so far. Does not do all the advance call features with the 680. That's the phone's fault.
Other Thoughts: Went on the great quest of finding an earpiece that fits and works well my Treo 680. The ear fit options are great, unlike the over the ear hook design that don’t work with odd shaped ears. The DSP is real and it works great, when I say it picks up background noise, it does it clearly. Becomes a problem in WalMart and AirPorts when it’s louder than my own voice. On the other hand, if you want people to hear the tunes that you are listing to, this earpiece does a bang up job. Got the Plantronics Voyager 510 from newegg for them noisy environments. For all the Treo 680 users out there, this is a good one to have.

very nice
Pros: Good sound quality, very very very light, and pretty small.
Cons: Range! I can only use it within 5 to 6 feet before it makes a lot of clicking noises. Also the talk time may be an issue for some. My girlfriend and I sometimes talk for 5 or 6 hours. and it takes 3 hours for the thing to recharge. Its not a big deal for me but some might need a BT that will last the day.
Other Thoughts: My phone is a LG CU500. This is only the second BT I have ever owned or used and I only had the MOTO H300 for one day. It was big, heavy, and very uncomfortable so that night I ordered this one and took the H300 back the next day. I would say that the voice clarity is very close with both. However the H300 has much better distance. The 655 is super comfortable, extremely light and pretty small. Its so very light that I don't need the optional hook to keep it in my ear. And the ear gel thing blocks back ground noise too. Much better than the H300! If you keep your phone on you all the time and don't need more than 3.5 hours of talk time then this is without a doubt a GREAT buy!

technically excellent, could be better as a human interface
Pros: Sleek look, good sound quality, comes with several convenient options for recharging, pairs with both my PC and my phone.
Cons: For a relatively expensive headset, earpieces could definitely be better and more ergonomic.
Other Thoughts: Everything about this headset seems excellent, with the exception of the design of the earpieces. This headset does come with 3 ear-pieces, but they are not designed to fit completely in your ear.

Excellent Buy
Pros: This is by far a wonderful buy. The headset is very lightweight and fits well in my ear. It has a quick recharging time and a nifty vibrating sheath. The sound quality is great and no one has had any trouble hearing me.
Cons: None that I have found
Other Thoughts: I am very pleased with my purchased and Im sure Ill get endless use out of it. It is on the more pricy side, but you get what you pay for.

Good buy
Pros: I was happy with the snug in-ear fit. With the in-ear style I rarely have the volume all the way up due to the great sound quality. I also like the variety of charging options.
Cons: I have recieved about 2 complaints from listeners on the quality of sound. One stated there was a "tin can" affect on my voice (I think I was in the car at the time), the other was my daughter complaining she simply couldn't hear me (at 9 years old she might have just been preoccupied). I personally can't think of anything wrong with this device. The range for me was between 15-20 feet, not near the 33ft stated in the user manual.
Other Thoughts: I've tried other brands that hang on the ear and I think this in-ear style is better for someone on the move. I'm very happy with it and I would certainly recommend it to friends.

Don't Buy if you own Treo
Pros: When it was connected to my Treo it worked well. It just didn't stay connected long enough. It was comfortable in the ear and sound was good when it worked.
Cons: Plantronics website now tells you that it doesn't work with Treo. I wish it was there when I bought it but Newegg did let me return it. I am sure it works great with other phones
Other Thoughts: Just check plantronics website before you buy and if they say it works then this is a good headset for you.

Best Bluetooth Headset Ever
Pros: Great headset, only issue is that the main button is a little hard to press. But this headset is still better then any motorola headset on the market. And great newegg price.
Cons: None at all, all the people complaining in thier reviews that this headset has poor range and sound quality are crazy, this headset is sweet. Would pick this one over any other. Plantronics are by far the best.
Other Thoughts: the 655 and 640 are the best heasets on the market from my experience.

I like it
Pros: Small and lightweight. Comfortable to wear. Good sound clarity, and I have had no complaints from anyone on the other end. I really like the charging options... leave the USB charger at work, the AC adaptor at home, and the AAA charger in the car. Another plus for me is the fact that it vibrates when in the holster. I just clip it on my belt and I can feel it vibrate. Don't have to run around looking like half-man and half-robot all day with the thing sticking out of my ear.
Cons: Limited range; usually keep my phone in my pocket though so no trouble there. Static and cut-outs are experienced outside of 10 feet in a high interference environment. Good for about 15 feet at home, but I also have a wireless network and a baby monitor on the same frequency.
Other Thoughts: Overall I am happy with this product. I would definitely buy it again.
Nothing screams I'm important like a man screaming "I'm important" into his bluetooth headset!

Exceeded my expectations
Pros: Everything works smoothly, just as advertised. It's stylish, it fits my ear perfectly and comfortably, and answering calls with the earpiece is seamless. Also, having several ways to charge it when you're out on business is a giant plus.
Cons: The volume could be louder, but that's the only real downside, in my opinion, and the reason that I ranked this a 4 and not a 5. Also, I wouldn't try to use it if my phone wasn't in the same room, but this isn't a major problem because I usually have it on my person anyway.
Other Thoughts: This is my first Bluetooth headset and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it pairs with my Samsung A-900M even though it's a 2.0-1.2 connection. 85% of the time, the conversation coming from the other end is clear and understandable, and I have been told that I can be heard clearly nearly 100% of the time.

BT headset closest to perfect.
Pros: Fantastic sound quality. Very good battery life for size. Stays in ear well. Multiple charging options. Volume level is very good (I moved from M H700 for this reason). Background noise not a problem.
Cons: Buttons a little stiff and DSP delay (can work around).
Other Thoughts: I'm amazed that some people have issues with sound quality. This headset has the best sound quality at both ends that I have heard (and I have tried many BT headsets). My wife approves and she usually gives me the hardest time. I can only guess that these people have issues with their phones.

Very good headset
Pros: Very good sound quality for both sending and receiving. Extremely light weight and unoticable after you have worn it for a few days. Charging options are fantastic. This headset has the sound quality I have been trying to replace in my old Logitech bluetooh headset. I have tried nearly a dozen headsets and finally a small/light unit to replace the large Logitech model.
Cons: Battery life is a bit short. I get about 3.5 to 4 hours of talk time. The distance that I can be away from my phone is a bit shorter than with my old Logitech.

Not soo good
Pros: Sound for user is great. Size of headset is even better.
Cons: The headset picks up too much extra sound... the person on the other end of you call can hear too much background noise (even in an office environment). Battery life is very short.
Other Thoughts: I made a mistake by ordering this item. I will have to do some more research before making my next plantronics headset purchase.

Pros: Bought this for my wife (she's a Hottie). The price was great. The accessories were awesome. It came with a standard charger, and an separate AAA battery operated charger. Sound clarity was very good; the best she has heard yet. No problems connecting via bluetooth to phone. Very comfortable, and apparently, it fits well into a small purse.
Cons: Battery life isnt all that great. But, thats probably why they give you so many charging options. I had another con but then decided it wasnt....maybe making it an ex-con.
Other Thoughts: Newegg ROCKS!! There is no better site for finding great deals with great service and fast shipping. (yes, folks. That's a shamless plug from a Newegg fanboy). See ya.

Not bad for bluetooth
Pros: - Small and lightweight. Feels like wearing a cotton ball in your ear. - Battery life is reasonable considering size; I haven't had any issues, but I usually leave it plugged in while I'm not using it. - Lots of charging options included -- AC, USB, and AAA battery. - LOUD - it replaced a Moto HS500, which was fine indoors (at full volume) but practically unusable in the car. This one is as loud as my wired headset, I probably use 1/2 to 2/3 of max volume most of the time. - Good voice quality, only occasional static. No complaints from people I've talked to. - Good range - works well within 25-30 ft of my phone, enough range to move around a room easily.
Cons: - Gel earpiece takes some getting used to. Not quite as comfortable as the old Jabra gels. Takes some tweaking at first to find a comfortable spot in your ear. I was pushing mine too far in my ear, and the voices were too soft yet still caused my eardrum to hurt. I pulled it out just a little bit and fixed the problem, and eventually switched to the small gel. - Very sensitive mic, picks up a lot of background noise if you're not speaking. But I haven't had any complaints when talking over background noise. - 3-5 second delay for the headset to hook up when answering incoming calls. Not sure if this is the headset or my MotoQ. Not really a big deal to me, no one has complained and I know to wait a few seconds before I say hello. - Car charger would have been nice (maybe more practical than the AAA charger). But at least I should be able to use the USB charger with my phone charger. - Buttons are a bit stiff to push. Still usable, you just have to remember to grab the piece
Other Thoughts: I've never asked anyone how it sounds because I think that is so subjective it is pointless. I just use it, and I haven't gotten any complaints about it, which is all that really matters. Is there a perfect BT headset? I've never seen it. If you want perfect call quality with unlimited talk time in a tiny package, save yourself the hassle and get a wired earpiece. BT technology isn't perfect, but it is very usable if you have reasonable expectations. My experience is that this headset is a good mix of size, volume, call quality, battery life, etc. It's no wired headset, but then again it lets me work in the general vicinity of my phone without getting tangled in wires. I don't mind the slight trade-off in quality, it still has been very usable for me.

Best Yet
Pros: Small, lightweight, adjustable fit, comfort, ease of operation, looks, charging options.......
Cons: None technically. Little higher priced than others (I guess you get what you pay for).
Other Thoughts: This is my 4th BT Headset. Had Moto 850 and 500 and Sony-Eric HBH-610. This IS by far the best performer. Very comfortable (unlike the 650), adequate clear sound (unlike the Motos) and high quality construction. Charging options a plus. Although a little higher price than others well worth it. Easy pairing with my BlackBerry 8703e.
Also, Newegg service was phenomonal. Order Thurs received it Fri morning. Top notch transaction all around.

Works great
Pros: I have had several different plantronics headsets and this is the most comfortable and secure. The sound is good although the 640 was a bit better.
Cons: Sounds not perfect all the time but can't really complain
Other Thoughts: very comfortable and inexpensive compared to others.

Great Product
Pros: Easy to use, lots of charging options (wall, USB, battery), sound quality is great, three different ear piece sizes, medium fits in my ear without need for ear wrap around support. I was able to talk on this while phone was across the appartment (20+ feet)
Cons: have has some voice quality issues but if I hang up and call right back it usually solves the problem so I attribute it to the cell network. (Moto E815, Verizon)
Other Thoughts: If your looking for

Not Ready for Prime Time
Pros: Excellent design, very lightweight, easy to hear the person you are talking with.
Cons: I was told that I sounded like I was underwater and that there was an echo on the far end when the other person talked. There was static when the headset was 5 feet from phone. Too bad, I really liked this headset.
Other Thoughts: Although the headset is bluetooth version 2.0, my phone is bluetooth version 1.2 (Samsung A900). Could be the reason for the poor sound quality at the other end.

Simply Excellent
Pros: By far the best bluetooth headset that I have tried, and this is number 6! Light, comfortable, unobtrusive, and works everytime! I can finally say that I found a headset that I can wear in the house, car, and walking around that doesn't have a hiss or pickup any background noise. Not even in my truck and it is a Ford, very loud. I love it and highly recommend it.
Cons: No real cons, the range isn't that far, but far enough for my house.
Other Thoughts: It is about time someone got it right, thank you Plantronics!

Very dissapointed, it's no 510
Pros: The unit is small, and works pretty much the same as the other plantronics headsets. It stays in your ear pretty securely
Cons: * To start with I had a problem with the inserts you connect to the blutooth headset that allow it to sit in your ear. There are small, medium, and large inserts. The medium was a little to loose, and the large was uncomfortable when wearing for 15 minutes or more. But that will be different for other people with different sized ears.
* Call quality was not good at all. I talked with several people from in my house, in my car, and at clients businesses. All of them informed me that there was a delay, and that the call didn't necessarily sound fuzzy, but just sounded like a really bad quality connection when I spoke.
Other Thoughts: This unit was paired with a Blackberry 7520. Experiences differ with different phones, so your experience may differ from mine.

Great product
Pros: I usually have a problem hearing out of phone speakers in general (no matter the quality of the phone, I can never turn it up high enough), inc cell ph ear pieces. At it's highest setting, it was just right though. Stays in the ear without worrying if it'll fly out, but doesn't feel like it's crammed into your ear canal either. Just right.
Cons: None, except for the blue flashing light :/. No big deal though.
Other Thoughts: I haven't had any problems with delay when answering the phone. People don't start talking to me until I say "hello".... The button doesn't bother me at all either. With your thumb & middle finger holding the ear piece, you can easily hold it & use your index finger to press the button.

Lots to like about this device
Pros: Light weight, flexible charging sytem. Clear sound. Very comfortable. Easy to pair with bluetooth device.
Cons: Button tension is too high. Practical range is more like 20 feet.
Other Thoughts: I called my 91 year old hearing impaired mother using this headset with a Nokia 6135. She said the sound quality was better than the land line phone I usually use. Yep, the buttons are hard to push and could use improvement.
She didn't experience any echo tunnel sound until I was more than 20 feet away from the phone. We talked for more than 2 hours (aren't I a good kid?) and experience no loss in sound quality. NewEgg delivered it on time and at the best price.
This tiny headset is well worth the price.

Newer Isn't always better
Pros: Stylish, sleek, small and comfy.
Cons: Newer Isn't always better, the call delay is annoying BUT the preasure needed to push the button is even more so. Soft touch button would have been a plus, everyone I called asked if I was in a tunnel as it has a weird sound. Lacks all the goodies my 640 came with, oh well live an learn. RMA here I come.

Hey look at me.
Pros: Light, functional, easy to use
Cons: Blue LED flashes every ten seconds when you are wearing it to let everyone know you are wearing it (even it you aren't on a phone call at the time ) Hey look at me ! Plantronics tech support says it can't be turned off and this is a postive feature. Perhaps not designed for a business environment? Should have a warning on the product description.

I like
Pros: The headset is incredibly lite. The softgel ear buds are very comfortable. They should fit almost anyones ear since they include 3 sizes and a hook to go around the ear. I personally just use the softgel and it has never fallen out. The 655 sound quality is much better than other headsets I have tried. It also gives you 3 ways to charge the headset (Wall outlet, battery, or USB). I haven't had a problem with distance. The phone was upstairs and I was in the room below the phone and it worked perfect.
Cons: Even though it has the digital signal processing (DSP), which I took as a wind/background noise filter, when its really windy or your in the middle of a busy airport, your going to get background noise. But I have found that it filters out noise much better than other headsets.
Other Thoughts: This is my second headset. I thought my first headset was great. Very lite and clear. But then I found out that everyone I was talking to heard an echo. The echo comes from the very sensitive microphone in the front picking up the sound from the speaker in the back. A quick fix is to lower the volume until it stops. But then you can't hear the person your talking to... Then I tried the 655. Right off the bat, no echo, max volume.

Excellent Choice for Road Warriors
Pros: Easily set up, Good Battery Life, Many Charging Options, Works with XV6700
Cons: The DSP is not a catchall for anything you wish to do while using this headset, you cant stand with your face in the wind and expect your caller to understand you.
Other Thoughts: I know that current bluetooth headsets dont provide users with the sound quality they wish, but those who are willing to take a small step back in quality for the comfort and ease of use this is an excellent device. I am very please with the many options for charging, currently my portable HD, Phone, and headset all use MiniUSB

Betyter than expected
Pros: Ear Piece does work surprisingly well but would not recommend it for everyone, the ear hanger should be considered.
Currently have a Motorola and was told by my staff not to talk to clients while driving due to road noise interference.
Wearing the Plantronics 655 Head Set I found back ground noise was not an issue on the first trial day both out and in the car.
Cons: None preserntly
Other Thoughts: Need more time using this product to fully recommend this product

Plantronics Discovery 655
Pros: Excellent Bluetooth for use with a PDA. I use with Motorola Q. This device is different than the Motorola bluetooths. It is best used with its pocket adaptor/holder. Place the bluetooth device in the pocket holder, and place the pocket holder in your shirt or coat. When you receive a call, the bluetooth will vibrate, rather than your phone. Answer by simply removing the bluetooth frim its holder - no need to push any buttons to answer. Click and hold the bluetooth until you hear two beeps and you can make calls using voice recognition. Double click to redial the last #.
Cons: No charge status indicator to let you know when the battery is running low. I tend to get more static with this device than with my older Motorola bluetooth, especially when I am 20' to 100' away from the phone. It seems more susceptible to static when a wall, door or other object comes between the device and the phone.
Other Thoughts: One of the best electronic devices I have ever purcahsed. I had one device go bad after 3 months, called Plantronics and they have promised to ship another. Shipping is delayed, so I hope to get the replacement soon. I miss this device.

Lightest & Clearest w/ Long battery life
Pros: 9 grams, 10 hrs of talk, DSP that works well, fast charge, a portable charger with AAA battery, and very good features / Bluetooth function implementation. Excellent operation with BlackBerry, Nokia E62 and Macintosh.
Cons: ear jell could fit as well as a the old Jabra ear pieces. Comfortable but recommend using the over-ear wire which is included.
Other Thoughts: Highly recommended for both cell phone and for iChat video teleconference mic. Works exceptionally well with voice controlled system in Nokia E62 smartphone as well as with www.callmykate.com and Skype.

Superb Audio Quality - Long DSP Delay
Pros: Excellent audio quality; different charging option; different earbud sizes; lightweight and comfortable.
Cons: The long DSP delay when you answer calls is the only complain I have and it annoys me. Most of the time, the person who called you is already talking before you can hear them making you ask them or ignore what they have already said.
Other Thoughts: Overall, PLANTRONICS Discovery 655 Bluetooth Headset is by far the best headset I have used if only not for the long DSP delay that is really disappointing for a very excellent product.

Great BT headset
Pros: I use this headset with my Faraday 2125 BT phone and have had excellent results. Good reception at both ends. Features I like, include answer/end call button, volume controls, and many charging options,
Cons: ear bud has been knocked off while carrying around in my pocket. Could have more secure locking mechanism.
Other Thoughts: This headset is so light and comfortable you forget you are wearing it. I have to give it a FIVE rating.

Great Sound - Long DSP Delay
Pros: Sound quality, both ways is great. Lightweight and Compact. Comfortable fit. Nice charging options.
Cons: Long delay in DSP makes voice dailing a waste of time and it takes a couple of seconds extra to answer calls. Ninety percent of time, you have to redo any voice commands. Short battery life.
Other Thoughts: Paired easily sounded great with my LG VX8300. Delay in DSP drove me to RMA it to NewEgg. Replaced it with Plantronics Explorer 350. Sound not quite as good, but good, no delay. Haven't had to redo a single voice command with 350. Thanks NewEgg for your great service.

No more bluetooth
Pros: Good variety of charging options. Compact and lightweight
Cons: Since I got the headset almost every person has asked me what is wrong with my phone. This is the second bluetooth headset I have tried and none of them come close to a good old wired model for clarity and quality. The delay in connecting is very annoying and most callers are well into their conversation before I can start to hear them
Other Thoughts: Maybe these issues are related to the Treo650 or the headsets I've tried but no more bluetooth for me.

I really liked a lot about this headset
Pros: Comfortable to wear, great set of charging adapters included with the product, the headset would vibrates to indicate an incoming call when the headset was stored in the holder.
Cons: Only 1 and it's a deal breaker: sound quality on the far end.
Other Thoughts: You've heard the story before, I've tried a lot of bluetooth headsets yada, yada yada. Plantronics did a great job with this headset on every aspect save 1: sound quality on the far end. Everyone I called or who called me while I was using this headset complained of terrible echo (the far end party would hear themselves echoed back). It's a shame because I loved how comfortable this headset was, the audio quality on the headset end was excellent, and it had a great set of accessories included that allowed me to charge it off of my computer at work and keep an AC charger at home. If Plantronics updates the DSP firmware for better echo cancellation, this headset would be a perfect. Unfortunately, it's going back to newegg and I'm going to try the Nokia BH-800.

Works great!
Pros: Clear sound for me and the person i'm talking to. Works well in the car. No ear hook! Easy setup. Tons of charging options.
Cons: Careful with the rubber earpiece, its not too hard to break the plastic connector if you have it sticking out of your pants pocket.
Other Thoughts: I'm using it with a motorola L2 and it does seem to drain the battery a bit quicker than normal. Everyone on the other end of my calls says that they don't hear a lot of ambient noise and zero echo.

Really wanted to like this one...
Pros: Multiple charging options (as stated so many times here), form factor and Plantronics brand... The sound was loud and clear on the earpiece, and the other party did not have any trouble hearing me.
Cons: Battery charger did not work. The buttons are hard to press compared to all other BT headsets I have used (7 different ones). You have to carry two extra pieces of hardware around to be able to use USB charging option (as opposed to plugging the headset "directly" to a USB port, which seems to be the recent trend with so many BT headsets.
Other Thoughts: The headset has a frustrating feature where it cuts the sound transmission from the phone right after you hit "send" on your phone and before there is a sound signal on the other hand "i.e., when the other number rings or someone answers". However, this pause is relatively long. For instance, when I call the calling card service that I use, the greeting says "You have XX dollars and YY cents in your account". Using this headset, when you dial the number, it "opens" up the voice connection again too late and you only hear "in your account" part. Now the voice dailing. On Motorola phones, you get two tries when using the voice dailing function. Due to the same problem that I describe above, in between pressing the voice dailing button and headset allowing you to say something, you miss the first try and berely make it to the second one on time to say something, which makes the voice dailing very difficult and annoying. I think all of these problems stem from the "digitally enhanced soun

So nice I bought two!
Pros: Liked it so much, I bought two! Can wear it all day. Love the option to charge it via AAA battery. It was espeically nice that the "over ear" attachment on it is thin which means wearing it with glasses is comfortable.
Cons: For some reason one of them stopped working...but Newegg's return/exchange policy covered it.
Other Thoughts: Would definately get it again. Would have given it a 5 if the one didn't just randomly stop working.

Good Looks - Bad Sound
Pros: Small, Sleek, Good sound for the user. multiple charging options.
Cons: Bad sound for person on the other end. Battery charging option doesn't work. Buttons are a bit stiff.
Other Thoughts: I thought this was a great headset. Unfortunately, everybody that I talked to on it, said it was horrible. I finally called my home phone and left a few messages. After listening to them, my next phone call was to RMA this product. Great design and concept, very poor implemntation.

Pros: it works 98% of the time with my NOKIA, I haven't had any complaints from people who are on the other end of the call.
Cons: seems to infrequently drop the connection with my nokia when I'm talking to someone on Nextel, (my carrrier is AT&T) and then I have to go into the menu and reconnect. When I walk out of range, the headset disconnects from the cell phone and doesn't automaticly reconnect when I come back into range, wish it did, but I suppose I can learn.
Other Thoughts: I've had shoulder surgery, and supervise a construction crew and recieve numerous call during the day when I'm driving, so until I got this headset it was an interesting endeavor to talk and drive with one arm, now I wonder how I got along without a headset even when I had the use of both arms.

This is a great buy at $69.99.
Pros: I previously owned the Motorola H700, but lost it. So I bought the Plantronics 655 based upon the great reviews that I read.
As mentioned by other reviewers, I don' think there is a perfect Bluetooth headset that has no static and no interference. However, the Plantronics 655 gets closer than the Motorola 700.
The best thing about the Plantronics 655 is that the volume is loud and clear. This is in part due to the electronic design, but also the ear gel. (The Motorola H700 doesn't have an ear gel/bud.)
Cons: I have two problems with the design of the Plantronics 655. (1) The ear gels pop out way too easily when the plastic connections get worn. Plantronics is already sending me new ear gels. (2) There is not an easy on/off switch to conserve the battery. I liked the Motorola H700's design of the flip out mic. As such, I have to recharge my Plantronics 655 more frequently than the Motorola H700.
Other Thoughts: I would definitely buy this model again if necessary. As long as the ear gels stay in place, I'm a happy camper. The volume exceeds the H700 by far, which is critical when at the airport or driving in the car.
