Best Plantronics BT HS
Pros: Good noise canceling. Decent battery life. We had a couple of Voyager 510s for my husband and myself. The 510 wasn't very good at noise canceling in a factory environment. The 520 rocks it in both factory and windy conditions. We've also had Jawbones before and they were uncomfortable. Plantronics makes a much more wearable product. Important as I wear mine all day at work. As always, Newegg rocks.
Cons: Can't think of any.

its a peice a ****
Pros: none. its total garbage.
Cons: Bought this to use as a headset for Skype/Ventrilo. The flippin thing barely works. Took over an hour to set up and the range is ABYSMAL. You literally have to be right next to your bluetooth dongle or else the sound/mic quality goes to absolute poop. Is uncomfortable to wear. Is cheap and looks to be out of a cracker jack box.
Other Thoughts: I'm completely disappointed and would send this thing back for a refund only I can't. Buying a Logitech USB Desktop microphone instead. (for half the cost aswell). What a peice of trash.
Stay away from this product.

Doesn't entirely suck
Pros: Reasonable price. Claims to support multiple devices, although I haven't tested that yet.
Noise canceling mic produces reasonable sound quality while driving.
Cons: One size fits most earpiece flat out won't work for some people. For me, it's functional but not at all comfortable, so there's no way I can wear it all day.
Earpiece is not user-replaceable. If it gets damaged or dirty, or just doesn't fit you well, you're out of luck.
USB charging cable is sold separately for $15 instead of being included in the box.
Other Thoughts: The reviews on this headset imply that it works well for many people. But it doesn't work for me.
Going forward, I'll stick to headsets with replaceable eartips.

Good, especially for the price
Pros: Paired with an iPhone 3GS. Easy enough to do the pairing. Battery life seems ok, but haven't really pushed it. Comfortable on the ear. Size is about perfect for a bluetooth headset. Audio is adequate.
Cons: Sometimes the iPhone doesn't want to use the bluetooth headset, kind of like its asleep and doesn't wake up. Audio (receiving/listening) quality is ok, a bit crackly at times.
Other Thoughts: For the price, its good. I'm sure more expensive ones are better.

Great Price
Pros: I have used other headsets wired and wireless and this one seems to be very user friendly. There was no problem pairing up to the phone and the voice quality is good for the money.
Cons: There was one review that mentioned that the ear bud was irritating after leaving on for long periods. I have noticed this myself after 30 - 45 min. The documentation that came with this product was minimal but I was able to figure out what I need to adjust.
Other Thoughts: Most other headsets give you different size ear buds to fit larger and smaller ears but I guess the manufacturer didn't want to include that option. Other than that I would recommend it to someone who is looking for mid-range headset at a great price.

Very Nice
Pros: Worked very well and wife was very happy Easy to set up and comforatble to wear. Sound through this was great
Cons: Wife lost it now I have to buy another one. Now I am not happy.
Other Thoughts: This was a huge improvement over her last device. Sound was crystal clear and lots of volume. Cant go wrong with it. Just hope your doesnt get lost as fast as this one did.

Nice, not perfect, excellent cust. service
Pros: Sound quality to and the person on the other end was very nice. Not tinny, nor muffled. Easy pairing with my Sony/Ericsson TM506, and quick connection after. Headset actually rings before phone does, which is nice. Extremely comfortable and light to wear - but I guess this depends on the size/shape of your ear. Fits me perfectly. Controls are easy to understand and use. Excellent customer service.
Cons: Range is quite limited. And the "same side of the body" thing is very true. Crackling noise (only heard by me) otherwise. Mine turned out to have a faulty battery right out of the box. It is supposed to charge full in 2 hours. But after overnight, it never showed that it was charged. It did work well, but after only a short time of use, the battery started giving out.
Other Thoughts: SUPERIOR customer support!! When I called about the problems noted above, I got to a human quickly. He was able to quickly determine that the issue was with the battery. Within a few minutes of interactive phone instruction going through the warranty form at their website, and FWD a copy of my NEWEGG invoice, I was informed that my replacement headset would be shipped straight away and I should receive it by the end of the week, at which time THEN I would return the problem unit. That's unheard of! Any place else and you have to send back the piece, and THEN they send the replacement. Some will ship right away, but only if they bill your CC first to remove the charge once they get the original. And often you have to wait for them to get the unit to determine if a replacement is warranted. They've earned my respect on that count, for sure.

Pros: I found the sound quality of this headset to be better than many headsets, including a Jawbone and another relatively expensive model. It is not, however, better than the cheap corded earbud that came with my phone. Overall, the sound quality isn't that great, and you should ignore any reviews that include phrases like "crystal clear" or "amazing." Even the tinniest landline phone I ever owned was immensely better than this thing (and most headsets).
It is relatively easy to use and I never had a problem connecting the headset with my phone.
Cons: After six months, the AC charger crapped out. I contacted Plantronics and was told that the charger is an accessory and I'd need to purchase a replacement from their supplier. The cost of the charger including shipping and tax would come to close to $30, and I only paid $40 for the phone. The charger is not a wear-item, and is required for operation of the headset. Calling it an accessory is like saying a transmission is an accessory for your car.

Very Simple Nice Headset
Pros: I purchased this for my father who barely knows how to use his cell phone just for his phone calls, and he absolutely love the hands free feature now. Has good sound quality, confortable fit, and long lasting battery. Good starting head set for him that will last many years for him to come.
Cons: We have some issues at times with just the one button that if you hold it too long it goes into sync mode. Another issue is that is does not always connect to my fathers Motorola Razer, but is normally fixed with restarting his phone, which is recommended that the phone should be restarted daily by our carrier.
Other Thoughts: If you want something cheap that works and is easy and simplistic i recommend this headset. Good quality and nice construction. A product that will last and does not seem like it will break easily.

Control button keeps breaking!
Pros: Sound is clear, comfortable on the ear
Cons: Button that controls all the functions breaks after a few months of use. For this price I expect it to last at a while longer!
Other Thoughts: I thought the first one I bought was just defective, so I bought a second one. I'm through buying this product, someone else's brand has got to hold up better! I'm not hard on my equipment, and wonder if maybe it's better to go cheaper in this case, if I have to keep replacing it!

Good headset
Pros: This head set has good voice playback and good reception. For the price I would recommend it to anyone. It's a little large, but if you don't mind that then its pretty good. The charger is pretty good also Easy to plug in and unplug.
Cons: none

not recommended
Pros: It works...sometimes. Only reason I gave it more than one star is because it did work for a few days in 1 week of ownership.
Cons: Fiddled with it on Xmas morning, could not get it working. Most of the time, the caller could not hear anything. The user can hear everything just fine (key presses, menu navigation, other person on end of call, etc...), but the other person can't hear a thing. Then, all of a sudden it worked! Wife used it for 2 days with no problems. But one day she said she wanted to make a call without using the bluetooth. I showed her how to turn off the bluetooth at the phone. Boy was that a bad move. Back to the original problem of it connecting and it seeming to work fine until you make a call, then the remote user can't hear a thing. Decided I would return it, but...no return on this product. So, I am writing this to warn others not to buy.
Other Thoughts: Would NOT recommend it. Bought this for my wife, she has a LG env2 with Verizon.

Good headset...
Pros: Good sound quality, very comfortable around ear, and pretty lightweight. hardly noticable when wearing.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: Haven't gotten to test battery life yet, but pairing was simple and everything seems to work great.

Short Battery Life
Pros: Small. Out of the way.
Cons: Not the most stylish, range isn't great. The worst issue is that the battery doesn't last very long.

Pros: Clear sound, comfortable fit, very good noise reduction.
Cons: none really
Other Thoughts: Never had a problem with a plantronics product and this is no different. sound quality is excellent and connection issues are nonexistant even on my dinosaur phone. feels comfortable and the people i call hear virtually no background noise. especially good considering i mainly use it in the car with the windows down and/or the radio up.

Actually works
Pros: Good audio quality. Very easy to charge, setup bluetooth, and to use.
Cons: Does not have an option to place a call.
Other Thoughts: I have been on and off with bluetooth for years always going back to a hard wired solution. This product may prove to finally get me wireless fro good.

plastic loop broken all the times
Pros: long battery life as advertised
Cons: 1. This is my third replacement from Plantronics. The plastic loop broke off all the times. If you have your 520 for less than a year, plantronics will send you a free replacement.
2. Voyager 520 kept dropping so I had to reset my phone

Just Ok
Pros: Easy pairing, easy charging, good battery life. Good microphone pickup.
Cons: Audio output is poor. Hard to hear, too quiet. Even turned all the way up, it's still quiet. In the car, I have to turn radio off, roll windows up, just to begin to hear. Would rather stick with speaker phone.
Other Thoughts: none

Pros: Above all, Comfortable. Sound and voice quality is excellent. Very impressed with this headset. Plantronics Rocks.
Cons: A little big.
Other Thoughts: I love the520. It is a sad day. My wife sent my 520 to the washing machine this morning. Not sure if it will work. Drying now. I will most certainly buy another if I can not revive it.

Good value & good performance but not perfect
Pros: - It is very fast to connect and to be available for use on Blackberry Pearl, Curve, and 8900 - It is amply loud and clear, I rarely need to turn the volume up over 50-60% to hear well - Likewise, people tell me that they can hear me clearly - Battery life is noticeably better than my old Motorola - Fits securely in the ear - The charger is nice, it's good to have a stand so that it stays clear of other objects on my desk and is easy to find and it's easy to see when it's charged - I like the size and shape, e.g. appearance
Cons: - The main con that I experience is that, in my opinion, the time that one needs to press the button to turn it on or off is obnoxiously long compared to other units - While I like the charger, I would have preferred a USB type connection so that I could have continued to use one charger for multiple devices when traveling etc. - As others have said, the ear bud takes some getting used to depending on your ears / ear canal - but I see this as a trade off where you get better volume and clarity in hearing
Other Thoughts: I bought the Plantronics Voyager 520 after my old 1st gen Motorola BT headset stopped working. I selected this unit based on (a) my strong, positive experience with Plantronics phones/headsets for land lines (b) based on the numerous reviews here on Newegg and (c) the price point. It was a big step up in many ways, e.g. much faster to connect to my phones, but the cons listed above indicate that Plantronics still has significant room for improvement.

love it sooo much i gave one to my gf
Pros: and she loves it too. should have gotten a BT HS a long time ago.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: if this is your first play with BT tech, don't get fooled that it's like a cordless phone. even if i have the phone in a pant pocket on the opposite side of my body from the HS there is interferance.

Ordering another
Pros: Works Great. Often forget I am wearing it.
Cons: Can sometimes become uncomfortable with time, but you just shift its position a bit. After almost two years of use when in the car, the hard-plastic part dropped off the flexible part of the ear loop while I was wearing it. Then I lost the flexible part, so I cannot try an adhesive repair. (Plantronics does not know what adhesive to try. Super glue?)
Other Thoughts: Ordering the same model as a replacement.

Multipoint is great...
Pros: It pairs with my ASUS USB-BT21 USB 2.0 Mini Bluetooth Dongle. I bought both as a combo deal here on NewEgg. Since it has multipoint technology I can also pair it with my HTC Touch Pro with no problem either. The main reason I bought this was because of the multipoint technology.
Cons: The earbud is really weird shaped. It kind of tapers off down and to the side. It should have been shaped to go just down from the center so it would reside more inside the ear canal. I have to readjust it quiet often because of the earbud. They should have considered adding some different shaped earbuds that are interchangable.

Pros: Very nice battery life. Love the capability to be paired to both my work cell phone and personal at the same time. Single button/switch with easy to remember functions. Despite it's size it is very light weight; I've forgotten that I was wearing it at times. Ear hook is comfortable.
Cons: Fairly long/large compared to what I see most people using (I prefer large myself). The fit does require readjustment if worn for extended periods of time. Wind and moderate music volume in the background don't get filtered out as much as some might expect (Sufficient enough for me though)
Other Thoughts: This is a great purchase if you need a bluetooth that has a long battery life, have a large ear/head, or need decent noise reduction. The instructions on putting the charger together with the base are somewhat difficult to visualize how to pull it apart for assembly. Charger base is super lightweight, used a little weight (fishing weight) to help it stay down on my desk better.

My wife took mine ...
Pros: It works with my Blackberry Curve. Sounds good. Hands-free.
Cons: It works with my wife's Pre. Ever since she "borrowed" it, I have not seen it again, but it always looks like she's talking to herself. A bit uncomfortable with extended use.
Other Thoughts: Grow you hair long and let it cover you headset --- that way you won't look like such a nitwit when you're using it. Buy two if you're married.

Very Limited!
Pros: Battery Life
Cons: Ear Loop requires two hands to put on. Bluetooth reception is horrid. You have to keep your phone on the same side of your body as the ear piece for static free reception. Button cannot answer call waiting calls or redial the last number. Mic pics up any wind or sound. I had to always find a perfectly quite room to talk in.
Other Thoughts: I have used this daily since march of this year. I owned four different Motorola BT headsets before this one. I had volume problems with all of them and was looking for something better when I bought the Voyager 520 . The Voyager 520 does deliver better sound then the Motorola's I owned because it goes deep into the ear canal and seals it off (not because it has a louder or better speaker), but that also made my ear hurt so bad that I had to take it out all the time. I hated the ear loop on this thing from day one. It takes both hands to put it on, and this can be dangerous when your driving down the road. I have big fingers and I found the volume button almost impossible to operate without ending my phone call. I really missed being able to answer call waiting calls using the button on this thing. All 4 of my Motorola's could do that. I could also redial the last number I called with the Motorola's, but not with the Voyager 520. The flimsy ear piece fell off too.

Best I have used
Pros: -Comfortable -Sound quality -Connection -Charge Time -Battery
Cons: It does get a little sore in your ear, but I think that is something that just happens when first getting used to it. I don't really feel it now.
The reception is kind of staticy when it is on the opposite side of your body from the blue tooth, but switching it over to the other side is simple.
Other Thoughts: Retail price for this thing is $100 and I got it from Newegg for $40!

Decidedly good blutoof
Pros: Nice looking design ( I think so at least ), great volume, smart over the ear hook design that lets me convert it from right to left ear without having to unhook the clip and turn it backwards, also the background noise cancellation seems to work rather well I have been told. Add to all that a good battery life.
Cons: Only one from me, and that is when i put my phone in my pants pocket, sometimes the bluetooth signal gets a bit weak and crackly. The caller on the other side doesn't seem to hear it, only me. It is easy enough to put my phone in my shirt pocket or toss it into a cupholder in the car to fix that.
Other Thoughts: This is the 3rd earpiece I have owned. 1st was a motorola h695, not pretty but worked great til I lost it at a wedding. Then I had the h710. good design but half the time people could barely hear me, and that got tired quickly. As long as I can keep from misplacing this one, I will be using it for a very long time, it's that nice.

Decent if not good headset
Pros: Works like it should and has a decent range. People i have called have complained and/or can't tell that i am using it. Easy to put on and reasonably comfortable. Nice idea on the charging stand.
Cons: Sound quality is not quite as good as I would have hoped. Not that it is not clean, it just sounds a little muffled. It's comfortable and easy to put on but don't think i could wear it all day like some people do. Wish the charger was the mini usb.
Other Thoughts: Sound quality is a little muffled compared to the 510 I used to have that fell apart. Look like it should hold up better then the 510. The rubber on the 510 deteriorated after a few years.

Not bad.....
Pros: Solid, stable Impressive noise cancellation for the price Earpiece enters ear canal *slightly* to allow for clearer sound
Cons: Rocker switch that combines volume control is clunky. Would like to see some custom smartphone button commands.
Other Thoughts: Bought this to use with my new iPhone 3G S. The other headsets out there are crazy expensive! This one has a nice basic feature set and steps up one notch with some pretty good noise cancellation. Definitely better than the $20 guy I owned previously (which also wasn't terribly bad).
It paired up like a charm and has been stable for 2 months now.
The only thing that bugs me (4 stars instead of 5) is that the rocker switch that combines volume control isn't really that great. I'd rather have separate buttons for volume. (I just reach down blindly for the phone volume buttons -- no big deal.)
Also, would be nice to see some custom programming for smartphones (e.g. double-tap for voice control on iPhone, etc.).
Don't worry about the earpiece -- it doesn't fully enter the ear canal.
Highly recommended for casual phone users and new smartphone owners. Not recommended for uber geeks who need a rugged earpiece with military-grade noise cancellation. ;)

Pros: pairs quickly, fits nicely on any ear, fits snug yet comfortable on my ear unlike other headsets I've tried, person on the other end can hear me perfectly
Cons: cracking and poping, probably from my phone though, I have used my friends headset before and his never does it on his phone, only on mine
Other Thoughts: excellent buy, great price

A Good Bargain
Pros: It's lightweight. It's comfortable for all-day wear. Sound quality is great. Pairs with both my phones.
Cons: No wind noise reduction. Not very noise canceling.
Other Thoughts: I bought this one because I tend to have to talk outdoors where it can be windy, but the wind noise still comes through. However, for the price, this is still a great headset. It feels very comfy for me, even when I wear it all day. I paired it with both my work phone and my Blackberry, which is really convenient! I don't have to switch headsets. It's super easy to set up and use. This is a great, reliable headset at a great price (Plantronics wants almost twice as much for the same headset - get it from Newegg!) I'd have given it five eggs but I was a little disappointed in the wind noise.

My First BT!
Pros: Every thing except the cons. Other then that this thing was worth the money.
Cons: Noise cancellation doesn't work as good as they say it dos.
Other Thoughts: Yea! Make it do what you said it would do, CANCEL THE NOISE.

Looks nice
Pros: Looks nice, and nice charging dock...syncing is simple
Cons: Doesn't fit well for optimum audio performance...either it fits and the other side says " your sound faint or breaking up" or feels all nasty and loose in the ear and get "fair" audio for both sides...noise canceling= fail...need i say more...
Other Thoughts: Gave it to a friend for free...even he says he doesn't really like it...being FREE...I forked out the money and bought a Jawbone Prime...AMAZING...

Poor Upgrade
Pros: Comfortable
Cons: Poor sound, and it blinks all the time. The way the earpiece is shaped, and the location of the hole, it's like the sound is actually being tunnelled to your ear lobe, and not into your ear canal. I always have to have the volume cranked up, and I still have problems hearing.
Other Thoughts: Best thing that ever happened to me was having a truck run over it when it fell out of my pocket outside the hardware store. Good riddens.

Plantronics Voyager 520
Pros: The only thing i can say good about the 520 is that when listening to others talk it is very clear and crisp.
Cons: Every one i talked to on the 520 said they couldnt hear me over the back ground noise no matter were i was or what i was doin. Its pretty bad when no one can hear me talkin in the new 2009 accord i just bought. I can understand a little bit of background noise when im driven the semi although i had no problems with the plantronics 510 which i just ordered a new one today.
Other Thoughts: Take my advise an get yourself a Plantronics 510 i have no complaints with one nor did anyone i ever talked to on it. The 510 is a 5 star unit.

Piece of J_nk DO NOT buy
Pros: It arrived Fast, like always with NewEgg ! But that was the only good thing about this piece of cr_p! The happiest moment of buying one of these junktronic voyager 520's, is while you are opening the box for the first time.
Cons: Let see, where do I start. Its slow to sync up somtimes. It has Horrible Range. If it is on your left ear, then you better have your cell phone on your left side. The noise canceling capability isn't very good. Seems to be a lot of static, unless your cellphone is right next to the ear piece. I already threw mine in the trash, I'll be ordering something else.... but can gaurantee it wont be a Plantronics.
Other Thoughts: I just had a Forty Five Dollar learning experience...

Andy 520 BT Review
Pros: It gets the job done but not an impressive job.
Cons: I was a little disappointed after a month of usage based on these reason. Again- I've only paired with my Sony Ericsson Z700i which isn't a great phone- so a lot of issues could be different from phone to phone. 1. I have a small ear and the ear loop comes in one single size. 2. The quick pairing don't always work. There are times that my phone simply won't connect (find) the BT 3. The "noise-cancel" aren't as amazing as I thought after getting lots of complaint from the person who was talking to me. I live in Chicago and its one dam noisy city. The El train, sidewalk, wind, tourist...etc.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this specific for several reasons: 0. The charing duck/ cradle stand 1. It looks sharp 2. Battery life 3. High user recommendation & rating 4. "Noise-canceling" tech I'm currently saving $ for a higher grade model ($50+ model and I'm considering other brands)

DOA
Pros: I could hear great
Cons: Microphone was DOA!
Other Thoughts: Nothing more frustrating than buying something new and opening the box and it doesn't work! Now I have to pack it up send it back (on my own dime) and wait who knows how long to get one that works.

Great headset
Pros: Quality sound on both sides. Very well done. Can be used on both ears. Quick charge . Holds on ear very well.
Cons: Using a button may need a little experience. Not really a con since every headset i had has a similiar problem.
Other Thoughts: I am using it mostly in the car and i like it very much. I think it's a great headset for the price.

Execellent Bluetooth
Pros: Easy to use, connects automatically, noise filtering works well, volume button, comes with a recharing base.
Cons: Hard to tell what function you are using with only one button but most bluetooths are like that. The reception cracks when you are over 30 ft.
Other Thoughts: Great product for the pirce!

slick
Pros: no earbuds to mess with, the all in one earloop design fits well in my ear. Sometimes don't notice it there. pairs quickly after turning it on. Even though I did it while driving! Sounds well, callers can hear me too!
Cons: At times, it does irritate so just switch ears if needed. volume controls a little sticky.
Other Thoughts: there's some hands free/voice activated menu options that I didnt mess with.

Great headset, bad charger
Pros: Sound quality is crystal clear on my end. No issues with listeners except when walking in moderate to high winds. Easy to link to any phone. Quick charge time.
Cons: Like others here, I am experiencing the 'will not charge' glitch. In communication with Plantronics to determine a course of action. And while I understand proprietary technology needs (i.e. spend more money on our stuff), the charger really should be usb style.
Other Thoughts: If it weren't for the charge issue this would be a fantastic headset for a really good price. (It retails at $99 from Plantronics directly. Newegg's price is by far the best.)

does the job, but not always perfectly
Pros: stylish, the look to this is really nice, well constructed, loud volume, people can hear me even when im driving.
Cons: it doesn't always receive/transfer my calls when connected to my phone, 1 out of every 10 calls received doesn't go to my bluetooth and instead is answered on my phone. its rather annoying. after a few weeks of use i have noticed that it no longer responds to my phone as quickly as it first did even at full charge and close range. Also this unit gets static; when your earpiece is in your right ear, then your phone has to remain on the right side of you, or in your right pocket, or you will get an annoying static interference for some reason.
Other Thoughts: overall this is my third plantronics unit and i am ready to switch brands. the first had this same static problem, the second was a 655 and was dead on arrival with a blown speaker, and now this one is sub par, and not in the golfing sense of sub par.

Pros: This is my first Plantronics headset after having two Motorola's, The 500 and 700 models and One Z9 Blue Ant. This is by far, better in sound quality than the others. The only thing I miss is the open close boom mike feature that Motorola has. I like the Plantronics much better overall. Chip Kissick
Cons: Could have a little better distance range.
Other Thoughts: I was going to get the Plantrontic Voyager Pro, but hate to pay full retail for anything after having been beat up for 39 years selling cars. I will get the Plantronic Voyager Pro as soon as you reduce the price a little. I love dealing with New Egg as much as I can, even if I have to pay a little more sometime.

Not Bad
Pros: This Bluetooth set is stylish and extremely comfortable. I can wear it for hours and it really doesn't bother me.
The polymer earpiece is top-notch, much better than plastic.
Battery life is about 8 hours which is great. The included charger kit and hands-free dialing are great if you're on the move a lot such as myself.
The set was really easy to sync with my LG enV 2 and I'm pretty happy with it with the exception of a couple of things.
Cons: Noise reduction doesn't work too well on my earpiece and even with it at max volume it can be hard to hear every now and then. Not terrible shortfalls by any means but just enough to give it a 4 star rating instead of 5.
Other Thoughts: I bought this at the Verizon store for $49.99 before I thought to check Newegg. Just a little more but still... This is a great product if you're looking for something stylish, functional and mid-range in price this could be your set. Plantronics is a great company and i've always enjoyed their products.

Voyager 520
Pros: Nice size and stylish. Good price
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: purchased 2 (for hubby & I). Easy to charge & sinc to phone. (1 Blackberry & 1 Motorola) The in store price for this was twice as much, so I got 2 for the price of 1. Sound quality is good, talk time is good. I have no complaints about the ear piece. Only suggestion I would give to Plantronics is to make a carrying case to store the device in.

Good but better look somewhere else.
Pros: It works to start. Noise canceling works better then the free one you get from the cellphone store. Looks professional and stay so well to my ears, I sometime don't even know its there. A great entry level earphones.
Cons: Now about the cons - I have been buying bluetooth for sometime now and I always thought plantronics with its aerospace background would be good but I guess I was wrong. For $50, this thing really can't do noise canceling. And the length they claim is a joke. I put my bluetooth on the right ear and my phone in the left pocket and it STATIC like crazy! And oh yeah, with this bluetooth, I can well advertise for verizon, cause "can you hear me now?" is verbatim with this product.
Other Thoughts: This would be a good entry level bluetooth. The noise canceling is not the worst in the market but for any serious conversation won't do. I have it for 2 month now and its been working just fine but I'm not impress (especially for the money I pay). The stupid charger too makes its a marketing handcuff when you loose it (which thankfully I haven't). Sound quality is okay but just don't go anymore then 3 feet. SERIOUSLY. Other then that, this thing is a great buy for entry level.

So far so good
Pros: Very comfortable. Synched up easily with my phone (3 yrs old LG). People I talk to report that I sound the same on the headset as on the phone. Noise cancelling seems to work well. Range seems good; I can leave the phone a couple of rooms away with no problems, although I do get a "crackling" noise (on my end only) at the limits of the range.
Cons: Other reviewers commented on low volume, and I have noticed this as well. When using the headset driving I would like to be able to go to a higher volume than the headset seems to allow, although so far it has not been a problem.
Other Thoughts: Good product, good value.

Not Bad if you are within 10 feet of the phone
Pros: Small and cheap.
Cons: I got this because cel reception is terrible in my apartment. So I leave the phone by the window and use this but if I go more than like 10 feet away or so there is a lot of static and also if the headset is on the opposite side of my body then the side of the room where the phone is there is static starts a lot closer.

Pros: Fits my big ears, and has pretty good volume. I'll buy another when I lose this one.

Great Product
Pros: Light, easy to use, easy to set up (as in didn't skim the manual beforehand). The manual has a great chart explaining the functions of The Button and The Light (Something my stereo Sony headphones lack)
The sound is good. I cant tell the difference between the phone and the headset in normal situations. Having people speak right next to it is distracting, but then the cellphone does not perform much better.
The battery outlasts the cell phone
the stand/charger is nice. useless but nice.
Cons: No included incar charger. Not a huge issue since the set outlasts the phone, but something needed for travelers.
Other Thoughts: i was searching for a gift for my mother and came across bluetooth devices. This seemed like a good idea, since she likes to talk on the phone, but I was skeptical. I viewed these sets as bulk, uncomfortable dead weight on the ear. And the sound is often quite bad for the speaker and listener.
But after some reviews here, and desperately needing a present, I decided to give it a go. And now I want one myself even though i don't talk on the cellphone that much 8)

Very reliable
Pros: This is a wonderful headset. It has every function on one button. Has good clarity. It seems to get louder when you use it longer, therefore it looks as if you need to "break" it in when it is new. It grips the ear nicely with good comfort. Also it does have decent noise cancellation technology as the production description states.
Cons: Since every function is focused on only one button on the headset, it takes some getting use to in order to have the right touch to turn the headset on and off. However, the sounds the Plantronics 520 helps you to let you know if your headset is on an off is great help. Additionally, I can't answer calls by just pressing the headset button once. I actually have to flip open my Motorala RAZR to answer the call Again that maybe due to having the skill to do this properly or my Motorola RAZR V3 phone being almost 3 years old could be the problem. However that is not a major problem, to flip open the phone in order to answer a call. I'm not that lazy so that is no problem. Finally, make sure you have good glasses. Sometimes the headset won't sit well with glasses that get in the way. It is not the headset that is the problem, you just neeed some very modern style eyeglass frames if you want to securely wear this headset with eyeglasses.
Other Thoughts: Overall this is a solid, sturdy, clear sounding and good quality headset. It is way better than that overrated garbage Motorola H700 headset. As for not fitting on your ear due to having glasses? That is not too much of a problem, for me because I have 2 different pairs. One pair of glasses I have fit with this Plantronics 520 comfortably. I highy recommend this headset if you want decent good sounding calls that you can hear and the person you are talking to can hear you clearly. If I lost this headset, I will easily buy another one with no regret.

Disappointed :(
Pros: - Cheap Price - Lightweight - Looks Cool - Worked OK with my iPhone 3G
Cons: - Poor Integration with Skype (both Windows/Ubuntu) - Poor Reception (White noises are common) - Bad Usability (Not user friendly and intuitive) - User Guide is not up-to-date.
Other Thoughts: It took me a lot of time to make the headset work with Skype on Windows. They have a software that runs in the background and supposed to connect the headset with Skype. It cannot work without it. This software doesn't work most of the time.
The user guide was not accurate at all and I had to go online to Platronics website and search for the correct association method with my computer.
Bottom line: This headset is such a hassle. I cannot return it to newegg, so I'll probably sell it. I bought it in the first place because of good reviews in newegg.
Bottom line: Disappointment. Not recommended at all.

Nobody can tell you're on bluetooth
Pros: Fits Easy Battery Lasts Long Fast Connecting
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I admit I always thought the people wearing the bluetooth headsets around all day are pretty lame.
However, I use mine to talk to people when I am driving or on the computer or playing my Xbox360.
It works great and no one can tell I am even on Bluetooth.

Good replacement for the 510
Pros: Very Light weight and very comfortable compared to my Voyager 510 which this replaced. I can wear it all day and hardly notice it's there until the phone rings! Batter life is EXCELLENT. Battery out lasts my BB Curve 8330's when on long calls, and I usually only have to charge it once or twice a week.
Cons: Doesn't fit my ear as securely as the Voyager 510 does. Even though it is noise canceling, wind is still my enemy, and loud areas are problematic; however, my car is pretty noisy and I seems to do well there.
Other Thoughts: This is one of the better headsets on the market. It's sound quality, battery life and comfort are well above most of the headsets on the market.

Great headset for the price
Pros: Great Battery Life. Great sound. I haven't heard anybody I've talked to complain about it sounded weak or noisy. Works as well as said.
Cons: It could feel a little bit better in the ear in my opinion. It fits fine and for the most part I don't really notice it but it doesn't feel as good as a previous plantronics headset I had.
Other Thoughts: Great for the price would buy through Plantronics again.

Never worked well
Pros: Nice Looking
Cons: Static during all use, had to hold my Samsung Gleam up near the BT just to be heard. Quit charging fully after 1 month. Talk time is limited to around 30 mins now
Other Thoughts: This is my first BT and I am very disappointed with this purchase. New Egg has always been my site for electronics, but platronics 520 was not a good deal

Cons: Most of the time reception is really good, but sometimes cuts out a little. Nothing too bad.

Pros: Out of all of the bluetooth headsets used I prefer Plantronics. I like how it's over the ear hook, but that the earpiece actually goes into the ear a little bit. For me it helps to get better sound with driving with windows down. It also has a purple flash to let you know of missed call or voice mail.
Cons: None so far.
Other Thoughts: First time you turn on it, enters pairing mode automatically. Makes it easier since that is what has to be done anyways.

Highly Recomended!
Pros: Great piece! This was my first Bluetooth for my cell and I can't get over how well it works. Long battery life, extremely clear calls w/ noise cancellation, and the best feature - It is very comfortable! I normally despise wearing any kind of ear bud so I was worried when I bought, but I can hardly tell its there most of the time and really do forget about it.
Cons: Voice command prompt is kinda tough to get right but I've only owned it about 2-3 weeks now. I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually

Love it
Pros: Great sound, great Bluetooth range, very comfortable. People are unable to tell if I'm using the 520 vs. talking into the phone directly.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: I would recommend this unit.

Great Bluetooth for the iPhone
Pros: I had the 320 and it would echo for people I was calling and they could hear all kinds of road noise - Even when I wasn't on the road. This one blows it away. People now say they can't tell the difference between the phone and the blue tooth set. Being outside, it works well too with just a little wind noise.
I have odd ears and ear buds never fit. The Plantronics design works great for me.
Super easy to Pair with the phone.
Cons: None yet. This is my 3rd Plantronics set and they keep getting better in design.

No-issues bluetooth
Pros: I have a big problem with background noise (like Bill Clinton), and this little device overcomes with its design. It pairs with my Samsung SCH-930 no prob. Easily works all day and usually two days on one overnight charge. I sometimes forget it's there. Will not fall off, even when wearing shades. Fairly unobtrusive, not as Borg-like as some I've seen.
Cons: Takes a little jiggling to adjust to my fat head.
Other Thoughts: Hands-free is now the law in many states and municipalities, it should be the law everywhere. Just bought one for my associate who doesn't have the time to comb thru all the reviews. I did try a Sennheiser, nowhere near as nice as this.

Not worth the cost
Pros: It's a bluetooth headset.
Cons: Noise Canceling? Hardly. If I'm walking across the parking lot, forget it. I bought my wife one at the same time and when she wears hers, I can tell what song is on the radio.
Definitely not worth the cost since it performs about as well as a cheaper headset.
Other Thoughts: If you're going to spend $40 on a bluetooth headset, do your research first. Not just on Newegg but ask around.

Not Bad
Pros: The sound is clear and connects easily with the half dozen devices I use it with. Battery life never seems like an issue between charges.
Cons: Range can be a bit limited.

Not Clear Enough
Pros: Very lightweight, holds a charge well, charges quickly, easy to use, comfortable on ear.
Cons: Too much intermittent static or interference which makes it very hard to hear the other person. This is my only complaint. I have a Samsung M520 cell phone, so maybe other phones would not experience this same issue.
Other Thoughts: Plantronics is usually a very good brand with good reliability. I have one of their wireless headsets that I use with my office phone and absolutely love it - no complaints at all. This is one reason I choose their Bluetooth set for my cell phone. I recently purchased an Etymotics wired headset and I can honestly say it is a HUGE improvement over the Plantronics Voyager 520! So what if it is wired - it works beautifully and is also lightweight!

Great, but not in Vehicles
Pros: Fits snug and is easily adjustable; also comfortable. Easy to use volume control. Can easily swap ear positions. Audio quality is good in quiet places.
Cons: I gave this a 3/5 because this headset only works well for quiet places. If you are at home, or in the office, this thing works great (5/5) but as soon as you get on the freeway in a car, good luck hearing the other person. I've tried turning the volume up on my iPhone and on the bluetooth and I just can't get the output needed for loud environments :(
Other Thoughts: If you could somehow amplify the incoming sound this thing would be great.
I'm pretty sure that the ear piece just lets too much noise in and therefore the outside noise filters right in with the noise coming from the headpiece. It needs an ear bud of some sort for better noise cancellation.

loud, comfortable, bad RF though
Pros: noise cancelling works somewhat, no problem using it in running bus, rather loud and clear, comfortable
Cons: weak RF, I hear a lot of static just after 3 meters
Other Thoughts: I used it on nokia 6263 and SE TM506, it's rather loud with TM506, not really loud with 6263, noise cancelling works somewhat, can hear clearly inside running bus and train

Great!
Pros: Very good playback, other side can hear me well. Easy to setup. Good looking. the charging base is secure with a 'click'.
Cons: None that I found so far :)
Other Thoughts: Considering I paid $100 for my last BT, this one is much better, although it does have a few years advancement on it. Hopefully I don't wash this one in my pants too ;)

Solid workmanship 5-Egg product
Pros: Fantastic in every regard. Well built, nice rubber ear insert, easy to wear for those wearing glasses. Does not flop around like other earpieces. Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Noise cancelling is fantastic. My 8 year old daughter could be swinging from the chandelier next to me, and the caller on the distant end would be none the wiser.
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: You wont beat the Newegg price, hands down. Other retailers have this item marked between 40-60% higher in cost. Delivery and packaging was good, came in one piece. UPS tossed the box like a frisbee on my porch and bailed like they just committed a felony. Thank goodness Newegg packs their stuff like their shipping Waterford crystal.

Noice Cancelling is erratic
Pros: Fit is comfortable and easy to swap between left and right ears. The charger connection is convenient.
Cons: The pairing is unpredictable for use on a computer. Sometimes, I can it with Skype, but not music, other times with music and not Skype.
But the reason I bought this, noise cancelling, is a disaster. Sometimes it seems to work fine. But all to often, people will complain about the background noise: "aAe you in your car with the window down?" This is not predictable, and can happen when I'm talking in a quiet room.
This headset may have "noise cancelling technology", but it the technology isn't ready for prime time.

Great BT
Pros: -This is the second one of that I have purchased. I gave the first to my girlfriend (her bt broke) and went shopping for another. I ended up buying this again because its such a nice set. -Very comfortable on the ear. The part that wraps around the ear is rubberized, not hard like many BTs' are. -Battery life is very good. -The recharging stand it really neat. Its rubberized on the bottom so it doesn't slide all over your desk or wherever you charge it. -Noise Canceling actually works. -Looks cool.
Cons: None.

Quality but still lacks in important ways
Pros: I like the design in general, I prefer something like this that actually looks like a headset instead of a little block or ear plug. The ear clip is very comfortable and flexible. Controls work very well, as does the voice dial activation. Other people seem to hear me very well all the time.
Cons: Blue flashing light is annoying sometimes, it will light up the inside of the car and flashes whenever the power is on.
While other people rarely tell me about any noise on the line, I often hear crackling which varies with distance to phone, and even is present when the phone is in my pocket sometimes. More than 1 meter seems to be a problem for it. This is disappointing considering the Plantronics name and reputation.
The biggest problem though (and I hear it often with BT headsets) is that the volume just doesn't go high enough. I keep my phone and the headset on the highest volume settings and this is barely adequate in the car or other slightly noisy environments and I'm pretty sure you can forget it with windows down at all in the car.
The earpiece isn't the best, although comfortable enough it kind of rests against the ear canal and doesn't fit in a way that would make it stay in place well or block outside noise.
Other Thoughts: I like this headset alright but it I'm not completely satisified with using it in the car or with noise around. It's not that the noise canceling doesn't work, I'm sure it does, but it just doesn't block enough noise from getting right to the hear from the outside and it isn't loud enough. This makes it barely usable in noisy cars (and haven't even tried it in my "loud" performance cars so don't know if it will work there at all), which is the main thing I wanted it for. Sound quality is fine for calls but forget using it for any kind of audio like music, sounds terrible. Of course it's not intended for that anyway.

Great bang for the buck
Pros: Pretty good signal reception and call clarity. Battery lasts pretty long, too.
Cons: None really.
Other Thoughts: My wife and I each have one and have had no problems with them. She's had hers for about 9 months and I've had mine for about 5.

works well indoors
Pros: Works fine with my Motorola Razr VE20. Simple one-button interface. Ear clip is secure and comfortable. Battery life is good.
Cons: When walking down a busy city street I can barely hear the other party and they can't understand me. It's just not usable in noisy environments. The charger is proprietary. It doesn't have a Micro USB charging port like most other modern mobile devices.

Very Nice!
Pros: Exceptional clarity. Pairing is quick and efficient. Decent range. I haven't used it too much, but after about 5 hours of use I'm still in the 66% battery life range. The ear clip is very comfortable compared to my last bluetooth headset.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Volume may be just a little soft in heavy noise areas.
Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace a Scala 700 and I love it. I went out to the car in my parking lot with it on and lost contact with my phone Motorola W755 (about 40 feet away) but when I got back inside it auto paired with my phone without any interaction. My Scala never did that.

Pros: None, yet.
Cons: The headset doesn't stay securely on my ear at all. It barely hangs on when I am sitting still, but just walking around or turning my head makes it fall off.
Other Thoughts: I got this to replace my old bluetooth headset which was growing uncomfortable to wear for long. This is very disappointing because this one can't hold on long enough for me to tell if it is comfortable or not.

Bad performance
Pros: Comfortable. Looks aerodynamic (not really a good or bad thing)
Cons: Connection with my phone Nokia 6500 Classic is horrible. I have to keep the phone very close and it has to be completely open (not in my pocket or have anything touching it). Sometimes I have to hold the phone right next to my ear to get clear reception, and at that point why am I using a hands free set?
Other Thoughts: I bought this because I lost my old headset. It was a very cheap type that came free with another phone and it still worked better than the 520.

like it
Pros: very user friendly, it looks really nice and pairing is very simple..it pairs with both my cell phones at the same time! I like it better than my j**ra. At least it has held up to some abuse!
Cons: it gets uncomfortable to wear after some time(approx 1 hour or so...). It does poorly in even the slightest wind..so much for talking outside or in a car with any circulation...a/c, heater blowing...
Other Thoughts: i wish i could combine the best features of this and my last bluetooth...(it was comfortable to wear around all day:) but it was not reliable...(see above)

New! With Background Noise Amplification Technology!
Pros: Looks great. Easy to pair with a phone. Battery meter. Nifty charging dock. Decent support from Plantronics.
Cons: The first one worked fine for a while then stopped taking a charge after a month or so. Plantronics sent a refurbed replacement via UPS very quickly and with no deposit required. Both headsets, however, amplify every bit of background noise to the point where I cannot use it to conduct business. I have tried different phones (Samsungs and Motorolas) and I've spent about an hour playing with various positioning and volume levels. I've even tried fashioning a foam wind guard. Nothing helps. When I join a conference call, I immediately get other attendees complaining "Woah! Who just joined? What's all that noise!". I've gotten those complaints while sitting in my living room, with no one else home, on a quiet street, windows closed, HVAC fan not running, and no other electrical appliances (computer fans, dishwashers, tvs, etc) running. Completely unacceptable for anything except asking my wife what she needs me to pick up from Kroger on my way home.
Other Thoughts: I used to have a Voyager 510 and that could be loud if, for example, the AC vent in the car was blowing directly at it, but was otherwise very quiet. I was hoping that my first unit was simply defective in more than just its charging circuit or battery, and that the replacement would work better. That was not the case. I'll be trying to find some sucker to buy this headset off of me and replacing it. I will not even consider another Plantronics product.

Comfortable
Pros: Fits on easily and comfortably.
Cons: Connection is pretty bad. Sometimes I have to hold the phone less than 1 ft from my ear piece to really eliminate static. At that point, why am I using a hands-free device?

My First BT Headset
Pros: I purchased this because of its high rating vs. price.
It paired with my LG VX8350 without having to enter the pair code. Very convenient!
The manual boasts the ability to sync with more than 1 phone (not simultaneously).
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I can't believe that I didn't have one of these before. I am amazed by it. People can hear me without me holding a phone!

Awesome is underated
Pros: I have had NO problems with this headset. I drive a tanker truck around 450 miles a day, and have the window down and still have NO problems with conversation. Unless its in my left ear and directly into the wind at 70mph.
Cons: Wish I had bought it sooner.
Other Thoughts: This is my second 520. The first one was stolen from me at the Indianapolis airport, when I went thru security. Be aware thiefs are everywhere. The second one I lost for about a week, and one day found it laying in the grass near my driveway in the rain. Took it in and dryed it out for a couple of days and it works fine. Although the blue light that flashes all the time doesnt anymore. That doesnt affect me in the least. I dont know what other folks are using theirs for, but I wouldnt trade my 520 for any of them.

Another BAD Plantronics product
Pros: Fits well. Great sound both in and out IN THE BEGINNING!!!
Cons: Useless after one month, just like my last Plantronics 510. Plantronics products are junk at best that fail due to simple use. The headset had no sound either way after only one month of use.
Other Thoughts: RUN, don't walk from Plantronics headsets since they cannot handle everyday use. Plantronics customer service was NOT helpful and told me to 'buy a new one since it costs as much to fix the current on.' My company bought 24 520's in December and all but two are not usable.
