Its the only one she ever loved. Lol. Cons: Didnt work for me. The earloop broke because whenever you want to recharge the earpice, you have to take the loop off and sit the earpiece inside the charger. you can't buy the earloop at stores. You have to buy it from Samsung. The piece is like a 2 bucks or something. Other Thoughts: I bought this bluetooth as a gift for ma mom and one for me. Like I said, the earpiece broke and the peice is made supposedly so it can sit in your ear without that loop. Unfortunately It didnt sit in mine and kept falling out. But it stays in my moms ear and she always tells me how its the best bluetooth she ever got. So It made ma momma happy so its worth at least 4 eggs. Did you find this review helpful? It was very easy to use and hardly weighs a thing. Cons: Notice how I used terms in the past tense in the title and the "pros" section? That's because it quit working already. Actually, it quit working about a month ago, which would have been just over a month after I got it. It still turns on an off and the blue light flashes, but neither my phone nor my wife's phone can find it anymore. The most I can get out of it is a little beep. Other Thoughts: Wearing this headset for 30 minutes or more was really uncomfortable for my ear. I didn't mention this in the cons because it could very well just be me. I figure it could be that I'm just not used to using an in-ear headset (my last was an over-the-ear, which I hated, which is why I went this route). Did you find this review helpful? I bought 2, one each for the wife & I. Get yourself a set of Jabra eargels for this as they're much more secure. I'm active and have no problem keeping the earpiece in place with an eargel on it. I got the eargels for next to nothing on that well-known action site. This thing's small. It's maybe an inch long and less than a 1/2 inch thick and wide. It's also light which reduces ear fatigue. It's a little on the quiet side inasmuch as you can't turn it up obnoxiously loud, but that might be a blessing in disguise. If your hearing's fine this will be plenty loud enough, even with background noise. If you have noticeable hearing loss, you might want to look at a louder model. I use this extensively while working. No problem with battery life. I turn it off when not in use for long periods and remember to charge it at reasonable intervals. I've never had to charge more often than the usual overnighter. Sound quality is good. Easy to Cons: Unobtrusive except for the bright blue, flashing LED light, which a sliver of electrical tape will take care of. Wind noise can be significant due to the design and placement of the microphone opening. Some acoustic-type foam over the end will likely fix that. I'm looking for something like that and may end up using a foam earbud headphone cover if I don't come up with something better. Small size, lightweight and easy to set up. Cons: The unit can be worn either in the ear or with the included behind-the-ear clip. However the clip is mostly useless and I had trouble keeping the unit in my ear without it. Battery life also leaves much to be desired. After only a month the unit will go dead after less than an hour use on a full charge and it doesn't include an auto adapter. Other Thoughts: It's an OK unit for the price. Small and easy to use. You'll probably like it more if you can get it to fit in your ear better than I was able. At least you'll be legal when you drive in Cali, just hope it doesn't fall off while you're driving. Not a big deal, since replacement hooks can be had relatively inexpensively. Other Thoughts: I have had around 8-9 bluetooth headsets. It has a small piece of rubber that keeps it in your inner ear without that stupid over the ear band. I mean it comes with the option but I never used it. Very light, never had a battery run out. Pros: Good battery life. clear sound quality, good range, small form. Cons: The ear hook is bad news. Other Thoughts: Very small form factor. You do not look like a Star Trek Borg with this in your ear. I mostly use this in the car and the battery will lasts three to four days with normal use. Stays in my ear without the useless ear hook. Cons: So small, it's easy to misplace. the "over-the-ear" hook is a joke as stated before. Battery life is only ~3-4 hours if used continuously. Other Thoughts: Very good headset. Clear sound is reported from people on the other side. Connection distance inside a house was roughly 20-30 feet before any major static or disconnection. The new California law states you need to have a headset device for hands free driving. I really liked this headset the most. Next was the plantronics voyager 510. This one was just a tad smaller. It fits perfectly in my ear and does not come out. The call quality is great. I can be a distance away from my phone and this still works great. It is easy to link up to my phone. Make sure your phone is compatible with this device though. No issues so far and couldn't be happier. New egg shipped this in a day? Whats better then that? Not much. Cons: The cons of this WEP200 are it makes my ear hurt after about an hour wearing it. I think overtime i will get used to it being in my ear. That is the only con though thus far. Other Thoughts: There were a great deal of fake WEP200's being sold. Everyone was selling them from Newegg, Tiger direct etc. DON'T buy on e bay! E Bay is full of fake ones. Im glad to say Newegg got rid of the fakes and sent me the real deal. If you want to be sure your getting what you think you are go with Newegg. Pros: Excellent Sound quality, great design, diff. sized ear plugs Cons: Most people will probably have problems keeping it in their ear, cheap ear hook Other Thoughts: this is my 2nd bluetooth, my first one was a moto h700, i dont know if i had a defective unit or what but people were unable to hear me at all, i actually tried to record a new voicemail and listen to it and i was shocked at how low it sounded, anyway i picked up this lil samsung for 3x less then i paid for the moto and i am very impressed with the sound quality of this headset, i tried the voicemail thing again and i sound crystal clear, i called a few people who all said i sounded very loud and clear, i hear people very well, the ear hook that comes with the unit is cheap and i feel that it can break at anytime, so far it fits it my ear but i know everyone's ear is diff. overall i just got the unit but i am very impressed Did you find this review helpful? Didn't realize it came with different size ear inserts, I used the large ones and it fits great and doesn't fall out! Other Thoughts: The first one I got absolutely sucked! You couldn't move the phone more than 6" away from the headset or there was tons of static. I filed for a replacement through NewEgg and my new one works like a charm! Good sound and people that I talk to don't have any problem hearing me. Cons: The ear loop piece is a joke. One that came with my bluetooth broke in less than 2 weeks. Other Thoughts: I might have small ears, but without the ear loop piece, the bluetooth unit falls off my ear when I move around. You can order the ear loops from Samsung's website. Going through my 4th earloop now. The problem is that you have to take the loop off the unit when you charge it and put it back on when you want to use it. Prior to purchasing this I've had the discovery by plantronics and one by motorola (forgot the model). But I find this Samsung 200 to be a far better bluetooth. It's small and lightweight. I have no problem with hearing the voice on the other side and they have no problem hearing from me. it comes with 3 earpieces (S,M,L) and a rubber ear loop that wraps around your ear. the earpiece fits great in my ear, can't even tell that I have it on. The ear loop I find to be too flimsy and useless. Cons: The rubber ear loop (wraps around the ear) is too flimsy and useless. Other Thoughts: Although I've only had this bluetooth for 2 days I've used this exact model before. My brother in law bought one for his wife and later he lost it. At least he thought he did when he later found it in his car. but when he thought he lost it, he bought another of the same model. He could have bought a different bluetooth but the fact that he bought the same one tells me that he really likes it. So since he has two, I borrowed one for about 1 month and tried it and love it! BTW, newegg is great. I bought this online on 5/19 and received my item on 5/20. Superfast shipping. Could be because I live about 3 cities away from their distribution center. It has volume buttons that are separate from the multifunction start/end call button. Call quality is great. The combination charger / case is a neat idea that reduces the size of the earpiece. The charge lasts a long time. Cons: Unfortunately, it doesn't stay in my ear very well. It hangs just right in my ear, I have found the volume to be just right, I get no complaints from the other end of the conversation, and I don't have a giant crick in my neck from trying to use my hands while talking. Battery life is good (I charge it once a week, but I don't talk much) and the charging case is a great carrying case (I never worry about losing it or cramming it with pocket lint.) I paired it up with a Razr2 and it works like a charm. It is easy to pair with the phone, easy to use and I can leave my phone downstairs and walk all over the house with just the bluetooth in. I bought this thinking it was going to be cheap and no good. Boy was I wrong! The headset has excellent audio quality and I was able to whisper and be heard perfectly fine from the other end. The range was pretty good as well, I was standing about 15ft away from my SE w810i and was talking perfectly fine (with walls and doors in between). The packaging was great and of course quick turnaround with Newegg! Cons: Only two issues that I have are not big deals and I'm sure this would depend on anatomy.. First, the three rubber earpieces are a little uncomfortable for my taste and I have a little bit of trouble getting the earpiece on and to stay on (might just be inexperience) and the charger/case has very delicate contacts to charge the headset, so make sure not to have the charger in a area where movement occurs or lets say in a car, etc. because it will move the headset off the contacts not give you a full charge... No-one I've talked to complained about background noise or anything. Works very well with my phone's voice recognition. Cons: Again as other's have stated.. The ear loop is incredibly flimsy. I used it just to make sure it didn't fall off my ear (didn't really help anyway; was too loose for my ears) but it just snapped today. Other Thoughts: Like another person said this thing can handle a bit of water... Fell off my ear and into a puddle on a rainy/snowy day... wiped it off and it still works. You should buy it. It's much better than Motorola which my friend and I bought and gave us poor quality performance. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. Especially now we're nearing the Calif state law in July '08 which prohibits cell phone use without hands free kit. Cons: Need careful handling on ear hook or will break. Other Thoughts: I just ordered replacement(s) for ear hook from www.Samsung and cost only $1.99 ea no shipping charge. No background noise. everyone i talked to could hear me and i could hear them perfectly. No problems with that. Cons: The loop that connects to the earpiece and connects to the bluetooth snapped at the connection point. I bought one for me and my mom for christmas and it snapped in about 2 weeks. Called samsung and they only sell that earpiece and you have to continually take it off to put the bluetooth in the charger. Other Thoughts: Again great functionalllity. Best i've ever seen...i mean heard. Only problem is in the loop. So if you buy it u might wanna try to heat the loop up b4 you connect it. Otherwise the plastic snap will break. It's small, lightweight, has great sound, and holds a charge for a longer time than my last one. Yes, people have told me they can hear background noise, but this one does not have noise canceling. It connects really quick to both a PPC 6700 and a Moto Krazr. On the Krazr it connects while you are actually inputing digits to make a call. The Battery lasts long and doesnt need long to charge either. It beeps to let you know when your phone doesnt have service which is cool. Cons: It doesnt stay in my ear and I am forced to use the ear hook it comes with. You have to charge it within the case wich is a pain because I have to take of the ear hook everytime. Now my ear hook broke I am forced to use it without it and worry if I'll lose it falling out of my ear. You have to put the volume to where you want it every time its turned on wich was a small anoyance for me. My last BT remembered where I left the volume. This item is made very well and is constructed from solid materials. The extras that come with this earpiece make it a great deal. The earpiece is classy and the two earloops insure they fit many different sizes of ears. You can also go sans ear loop and plug the earpiece straight into the ear canal. Speaking of going into your ear canal, this \greatly reduces wind and out side noises and insures snug fit. I've used other earpieces that do not go into your ear canal and they seem flimsy and easily fall off. This goes into your ear about as far as normal noise-canceling ear buds. In addition, this earpiece is rather small and I liked how unobtrusive it is. It help reduce the dreaded "cyborg-look". Of course, no one should be wearing any earpiece while walking around in public. This earpiece also has a great built-in battery, so no worries about replacing disposable one. About half of them I've lost (into shirt pocket, shirt goes to laundry...you get the idea). This one is TINY and therefore incredibly easy to misplace. I lost mine within about 6 months. But of all the earpieces I've had so far, it was the most tolerable for sound and comfort. None of them, however, get more than a "B" from me. They all have flaws. Re/ this Samsung, I liked that it connected instantly when picking up a call---distinct improvement over my previous Motorola (BT 1.1) earpiece. Sound was okay; I've had worse. I also liked the lack of an ear loop, since those fittings always hurt after awhile. Finally, I've always thought these earpieces should be seen and not heard---smallness is good. You've seen the jerks at the grocery store with their huge, blinking-blue-LED Moto earpieces. Bugs me. The Samsung is about the size of 2 sugar cubes, without all the flash. Really good product, if you don't want to run around all day like a cyborg. The headset is easy to wear and remove. Cons: Takes a little trial and error to get the earbud secure in your ear, especially the first time you use it. Other Thoughts: In order to get the ear bud to fit properly, you may have to try wearing it in the right or left ear to see which ear the headset earbud fits the best. There are a number of sites selling a poorly manufactured counterfeit WEP200. One quick way you may be able to tell whether the headset is a counterfeit, is the hologram on the box. The Samsung halogram says Original, while the counterfeit may have a poorer quality halogram, no word Original, and instead of Samsung on the hologram it may say Samsing...I guess the present tense of Samsung. Also, the counterfeits are more than likely made in China. Samsung is Korean. For more details, search the web before you buy this product from another vendor. No headset is going to be perfect, but for size, price and performance, this one is hard to beat. I have decided the outcome on performance is really the combination of a particular phone and a particular headset. I lucked out! This thing paired with my new Sanyo 8400 (Bluetooth 1.1) in a snap, and the volume is so stong and clear that I have to set it on the lowest setting, and even that is too stong for me. Yet a different phone matched with this headset might produce an entirely different result. It is not just that a given headset is a bad product. It may just be that the phone does bluetooth poorly or just when match with certain headsets! Be willing to suspect your phone if most headsets you try are poor performers! Cons: It took me a while to realize I needed to disregard the positioning of the ear hook as described in the manual, and position it so that it works in my ear. The diagram seems to be backward as to which ear, and then positioning needs to be teaked a bit to get a locked in fit. Just have the patience to play with the fit a bit before you decide it doesn't fit your ear. Other Thoughts: Also, muting the microphone is achieved by using the down button, not the up button as the manual says(duh!). During a call I actually see a visual volume diplay on my phone when pushing the volume buttons. Even a mute notice is displayed. Cons: Alot of these headsets are being shipped to dealers as REAL, but these are actually fakes. Make sure to do your research before you get one. A few of my friends have been ripped off... I just want to make sure no one gets ripped off like I did. I am not bad mouthing NewEgg. I have actually purchaced 2 computers worth of parts from them. Other Thoughts: A couple things to look out for: 1. Make sure "Do not accept if seal is broken" stickers are on top and bottom of the box. 2. Make sure hologram on the front of the box says "Samsung" and not "Samsing" 3. The Storage box should say "Samsung" and not "Bluetooth". 4. dyn[]mite Tech Level: high Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg	10/17/2006 6:46:09 PM good for a bit Pros: when i first got it, it was great. good sound quality, everything works, etc. Cons: after a week or so it started falling apart on me. the travel adapter/thing that hooks around your ear broke, the microphone on the headset works when it wants to and the charger charges when it wants to. Pros: small, great sound, easy to use bottons Cons: kept falling off my ear Other Thoughts: well if they designed this as a earbud style it would be much better cuz it will stay inside the ear but this device kept falling out of my ear i'm really not sure what i'm gonna do with it or they should buidl it with a small over the ear hook make yoru own judgement but it sounds very good best sound quality from a bluetooth set i have heard 1 out of 2 people found this review helpful. This unit is one of the smallest and lightest I've seen. Using with a Cingular 2125 phone and it works great. The sound clarity blows away my old Motorola. Cons: Somewhat short battery life, takes a couple of seconds to synch with phone. The battery life isn't that great, but size comes at a price.
