Works nicely
Pros: This is the first Bluetooth device I've owned. It was easy to setup with my iPhone 3G. The music sounds nice. Calling works well and other people on the phone call said I sounded better than I did without Bluetooth.
Cons: None

Stick it in your ear
Pros: Excellent performance & range. Noise cancellation works well. Has NEVER dropped a bluetooth connection. Excellent battery life. Micro-B USB connector is very convenient. Pretty LED colors. I found the volume to be adequate. I like the ON/OFF switch, it will not turn on accidentally in my pocket.
Cons: Hard to adjust - took some fiddling to get it to fit my ear comfortably. The Jabra support website is very difficult to navigate. Good luck finding the upgrade firmware. Found it 2 months ago, can't find it now.
Other Thoughts: I did the firmware upgrade (v1.7) right out of the box. I use mine with an LG Chocolate 3. Don't force the power switch and you'll be ok.

Support?
Pros: Good sound quality in both directions. Noise cancellation appears to be what it claims to be. Elegant design.
Lightweight in ear and none of the comfort issues mentioned in other reviews.
Good price point, as compared to other brands with similar features.
Multiple pairings mean broad usefulness. Paired VERY easily with two different phones by two different manufacturers.
Cons: Support. Support. Support.
For three days now, I've been trying to reach the support site for this unit in order to review the PDF of the manual for the BT530. No luck. Most of Jabra's site appears to be down. What? Jabra's short-legging it on its very internet presence? On weekdays AND weekends?
Yes, the power switch is snug. It remains to be seen if that's going to be a problem.
Documentation with the unit is minimal, to say the least, and a prudent owner will want to read what's online. Too bad. Jabra apparently doesn't much care about that. I know websites being run out of a kid's grandma's basement that are more accessible than Jabra's corporate presence. Bad.Bad.Bad.
Other Thoughts: Initially, this device compares favorably with other bluetooth headsets I've owned. Best audio clarity so far, as compared with Motorola and Plantronics in various models.
I'm three-egging this device until Jabra gets its act together and makes documentation for the BT530 available online. Until then, its full usefulness and its functionalities are a big unknown, and that's unacceptable for a device such as this from a global company like Jabra.

Not bad at all!
Pros: The sound quality is amazing. I walk all over the house talking on this thing. Holds a good charge, but I charge my nightly.
Cons: My only complaint is the ear piece. Hurts like hell after a while. I smaller than average ears, so none of the ear pieces that it comes with fit all that great.

Great!!
Pros: The earpiece is small and is hardly noticeable in the ear. It comes with different size gels for maximum fit and comfort. The ear clip can be removed and use the ultimate comfort gels which are very comfortable after you get used to it. I wear my on a constant basis and my ear has never hurt. I was using just the gel without the clip and was running, playing with the dog rolling around, jumping, etc. and the earpiece didn't even budge from my ear.
The device linked up directly with my phone and was able to go about 30 feet away before it started to break up. Crystal clear sound, however the background noise cancellation is a joke. People could hear the noises in the background just fine along with me sounding like I was in a bathroom. Music through the earpiece is great, my reason for buying this one. Up and down volume is a nice touch.
Cons: Battery life is not the greatest. It rates 5 1/2 hours but you truly only get around 4. I have put it to the test by constantly playing music on my phone and at around the 4 hour mark it would die.

Very Nice!
Pros: I had no problems getting it to pair with my phone. It takes a little bit to get used to the ear pice, but after about a hour it was fine. People on the other side of the conversation don't even know I am using the headset. Newegg was very fast on thier end of the shipping.
Cons: The Post Office is the worst way to send anything!!!!!!!!! It took Newegg 12 hours to get it from thier facility to the post office. It took the post office 4 days to get it to me 75 miles away. That is pretty sad.

Bad Power Switch Design
Pros: Excellent sound quality and fit.
Cons: Difficult, snug microUSB charge connection. Extremely snug power switch.
Other Thoughts: Power switch, which requires a two-handed operation, fatigue-failed after one month. Maintenance turn-around was three weeks; while the returned item appeared to be a different unit, the power switch remained unreasonably snug. One month after subsequent usage, the power switch fatigue-failed again. Jabra only offers same-unit replacement. I have moved onto another brand.

Very pleased
Pros: Headset volume is more than adequate and rarely requires adjustment (unless listening to music... I like it louder). Haven't heard any static or distortion so far and people on the other end cannot tell the difference between me speaking through my phone or this headset. Downloaded the software for the firmware update from jabra's website. The update was very quick and easy using the directions that come with the firmware (using XP32 SP3). I checked out the online manual while i was downloading the firmware... much more helpful than the one that came with it. All of the features are simple to use and understand... I don't anticipate needing to look at the manual ever again. Pairing with my LG Dare was a simple, recognized the device correctly on the first try. buttons are easy to use, no problem with the power switch yet. great selection of earpieces. I prefer the hook because i like the security, but i'm tempted to try out the eargels. So far I can wear this for hours and not feel it!
Cons: I'm not a BT headset connoisseur... this is my first one so relative to nothing it has been amazing. I would recommend it to everyone though, its worked great so far in the car, walking around campus, and in the house. I like being able to leave my phone wherever and just walk around hands free. It's nice playing music through it... it's like having my own personal soundtrack for life. The only perceivable con would be that after a couple hours in my ear, when I wiggle it around a bunch, it does feel a little sore, but then if I stop messing with it I can't feel it again. It still startles me sometimes when I get a call and have forgotten it's in my ear.
Other Thoughts: This thing performs very well at everything I have used it for... it's super handy. I would suggest looking at the online manual to make sure it has all the features you need. It also seems to charge much faster than spec using the USB adapter.

Great headset with good noise cancellation
Pros: Choice of fit options with included ear pieces and hook are greatfor those worring about comfort. The voice clarity and/or noise cancellation is excellent. Ease of pairing to numerous devices including a laptop - A2DP feature. Price point is relatively good.
Cons: The manual is a little vague so expect a bit of experimentation. +/- buttons are small but,....
Other Thoughts: Highly recommend and likely buy another for my wife.

Solid BT headset
Pros: Excellent clarity and fits well on my ear WHEN you select the right earpiece. Talk and standby times are very reasonable. Noise reduction seems to work fairly good.
Cons: Doesn't sych to my wife's VX8300, but that was before the firmware flash. Both the volume level and noise reduction seem to be much improved. I would have given it a 4/5, but after the flash I give it the highest mark.
Other Thoughts: Thanks for the tip on updating the firmware! I flashed mine and the volume level and noise cancellation seems to work better.

Quality product
Pros: Noise cancellation, size, weight.
Cons: Earpiece fit.
Other Thoughts: Bluetooth headsets are very personal, but this was about the most uncomfortable thing I have ever worn. After about only 20 minutes my ear was so sore I had to take it out and hold the phone. The BT530 came with different earpieces to use, but the difference between them is hardly distinguishable. I would return it if I could, but newegg has a policy that will only allow it to returned for a replacement of the same product. Way to be, newegg.

Great Sound
Pros: Excellent sound quality and great battery life. It's also very comfortable.
Cons: The on/off switch is cheap. It popped off, so I'm currently in the process of getting a replacement from the manufacturer.

Wizzman was right
Pros: No static and clear calls.. Dramatically reduces the background noise and very comfortable for extended wear. (Earbud use)
I use this thing 4+ hours a day for my job and I love it. For the haters, I immediately updated the firmware and have had no complaints. If you are having issues I suggest you go to jabra.com and follow the simple instructions.
Cons: looks like something a geek would wear..
Other Thoughts: wizzman was right for a change.

Pros: works well, love the fact i can stream music from my phone to my bluetooth. voice calls are great quality, i hear people and more importantly they can hear very clearly.
Cons: battery runs out quicker than other bluetooth headsets i have had in the past
Other Thoughts: it takes sometime to learn how to use the ear gels which have the loops. took me about 2 weeks to learn to use it. it doesnt go in the ear rather it sits right outside the ear. very comfortable for allday use once you learn how to use it. remeber to go to jabra website and update firmwate. performance will greatly imporve once this is done.

Great headset
Pros: Usability ... Easy to use on/off switch, +/- Volume, easy to press buttons, micro-USB charger standard
Cons: My Jawbone can totally wipe out background noise. This was does an okay job. If I were to rate it - #1: Jawbone 2, #2 BT530, #3 Everything else out there.
Other Thoughts: The reason I like this better than my Jawbone 2 is that the Jawbone 2 didn't stay that well against my chin. (Which is required for it to actively work.)

Support is awful
Pros: The sound quality is excellent. The unit comes with a number of gel inserts and over-ear hooks to get the custom fit. It is very comfortable to wear.
Cons: The on/off power switch is very flimsy. Mine broke off after only three weeks, rendering the device unusable. Two attempts have been made to contact their technical support (which is only available via a form on their website), but no response has been sent to me. This device is going in the trash, and Jabra has lost itself a customer.

Jabra BT530
Pros: The BT530 is light weight and comfortable, I forget I'm wearing it. Sounds great and unless I'm somewhere that is very loud I have no problem hearing. I'm told that it sounds good on the other end of my calls and it seem to do a great job on noise reduction.
Cons: Having to decide to go with the in ear mold or the clip that holds it to your ear. Picking the proper ear mold to get the one that fits best.

not the best
Pros: super light, looks good and everyone I called gave good feedback as to the clarity and volume of my voice. As usual newegg sent to me in record time, at the best possible price. Works to listen to music if you have a media player on your device.
Cons: FIT!!!! comes with a bunch of eargells that are the same. none of them fit me well. Volume. Everyone could hear me well but whats the point when I could not hear them. I am a cabinetbuilder and drive a toyota tundra. with the handset I hear fine, with this BT I found myself trying to push the eargel deep in my ear to hear. After a week of doing this, my ear was killing me. Connection. This jabra would disconnect for no reason 2-3 times a day and makes no discernable tone or warning when it would disconnect. I have used 3 other BT headsets with my Bberry curve, none of them had this problem. The last issue is the power cable used to charge the headset required soo much force to insert and remove it, I thought it would break each time I plugged/unplugged it. Maybe mine was defective, The usb cable it also came with plugged in just fine. I RMA'd this to new egg. Im going to get a Jawbone........Lets see how that works out.
Other Thoughts: This could have been a great head set. if it didn't have connection issues and that issue with the power cable, I might have bought the eargels from Jabra that look to be a better fit for me. Perhaps jabra will have some firmware updates in the future to correct the connection issues. Maybe they could add a tone that tells you when you are connected, or more importantly, disconnected (like my Plantronics 510). The form factor of this BT is great, just has too many issues.

Ok for 3 Days
Pros: 1. Usual easy, efficient ordering and fast delivery from Newegg at a good price. 2.Light weight. 3.Clear sound sent and received for first 3 days.
Cons: 1. Speaker element's voice reproduction became "noisey" on day 3. 2. Very stiff, non-conforming, uncomfortable plastic ear loop. For me, device will not stay in without it. 3. came with 5-6 ear buds. They are all the same size and shape. Were there supposed to be different sizes for a custom fit? 4. My 4th Bluetooth. Only one with which I am not happy.

Jabra Finally Got It Right
Pros: Size, Weight, Clarity, Volume, Free from Static, Range, Ease of Use, Buttons
Cons: Fit can be a little tricky, but there are several options
Other Thoughts: By far the best Bluetooth headset I've tried...and I've tried several. Plantronics 520a, 510, and 925...Jawbone 1 and 2, BlueAnt Z9, Motorola H680, and H12. This beats them all in comfort, weight, clarity, and price...If you are looking for an exceptional headset, this is the one!!

Outstanding BT headset
Pros: Headset paired without problems to my Blackberry and personal phone. The piece fit so well on my ear that I forgot I was wearing it. All the people I was talking to were astonished that I was on a BT headset. It was VERY clear and did well blocking noise. Sounded much better than my previous 'good' wired headset.
Surprisely the volume was loud enough to understand my wife....that was amazing. That was the most common review compliant by some with this headset. I didn't ever have to ask her to repeat what she had said. I would have to do that from time to time without any headsets. This might even improve my marriage. ; )
Cons: Let me start off by saying that I am being very picky...so what I have to say will not impact my overall score. I have a very minor issue about the noise cancellation feature. It worked well in almost every noisy environment. The one area it did okay in was isolating music from my car radio playing in the background. To be honest, I didn't really expect it to work perfectly because I had the music up loud and the speakers were close to my headset.
Other Thoughts: Very pleased with the BT headset and will highly recommend it to those who want a comfortable unit that

BT530 - the best yet!
Pros: Noise Blackout feature works very well - better than my z9i. Good battery life. Crystal clear incoming and outgoing calls. On/Off button is very convenient. Eargels are very comfortable and secure; even without the ear hook.
Cons: Volume could be a little louder.
Other Thoughts: Out of all the BT headsets I've tried including the JB I, z9i, etc, this one wins in overall performance (taking noise reduction, call quality, build quality, and cost into consideration)
