Hours of fun!
Pros: All three of us (my wife, son, and I) have had hours and hours of fun from this game so far, and we have not yet played all of the puzzles. We've also had quite a bit of fun with the construction mode, building new setups to blow up, knock down, and take apart.
Cons: Tennis elbow from repeated hard "throws". Everything in moderation!

Sometimes fun, but too expensive
Pros: Knock down the tower by throwing balls at it style puzzles, and pull pieces out jenga style puzzles are great fun. Excellent multiplayer.
Cons: Other game modes account for about 80% of the game, and range from decent fun to just plain bad. The game is too expensive for what you get, and you have to wade through loads of no good puzzles to get to the fun stuff.
Other Thoughts: Boom Blox is a fun puzzle game plagued by a few fatal mistakes. If the game was done the way it should have been, only the "knock over the tower(s) and Jenga style stages would have been included, there would be more of those stages, and the game would either be Wiiware or a budget title ($20-$30.) Unfortunately, the game is currently the price of a full wii game, and most of the game just isn't fun. It's still great as a party game, but it really can't be considered a good purchase for over $30.

Stealing my life!
Pros: The concepts and controls are simple. The gameplay intuitive, and maddeningly challenging. Something for everyone from the very young to the very old.
Physics games are educational by default, and this one is fun to boot. It is very rewarding to watch the towers topple, to crash the buildings, the explode the bombs and watch pieces fly, or just smack cartoon animals in the head and watch them fly. There are game modes for everyone, from timed to turn-based. And the level editor is the most challenging "game" as you try to simply make a tower that will stand up on it's own.
Cons: Occasionally the nun-chuck camera control must be "started" by using the default camera control on the Wii-mote. Once you know, it is nothing to use it, but it's there.
The shooting levels seem out of place in this game.
Other Thoughts: Great fun for the family. I can play with my 5-year-old and she can legitimately win much of the time. In four-player-party mode, everyone is cringing and laughing during play.
The wife beat me up in Forts mode and smashed my castle.
Very high level of interaction with the Wii-mote, which is great for game play but chews through batteries.
Quite simply one of the best "Wii" games that makes excellent use of the platform and it's abilities.

Awesome Mindless Fun!
Pros: Easy to pick up, and play for anyone. Point and shoot interface, excellent physics
Cons: Building mode feels a bit clunky, the physics, although they're excellent do bog down when there's a lot of stuff flying through the air.
Other Thoughts: Hit one of the little block characters on purpose... you'll be glad you did.
