Rating + 5 Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Pros: Just what you would expect from a Zelda game, great graphice, great story, and you have to use your head alot, especially for the puzzles. I have three other Zelda titles,Link to The Past, Ocarina of time, Wind Waker. This is definatley the most easy to control out of all of them.

Cons: I was a little disappointed, I can beat most of the bosses really fast and easy. There not nearly as hard as Link to the Past . I like a little more challenge.

Other Thoughts: I bought it in 2009, 3 years after it had been released, and it was still the same price!

Rating + 5 Yay! Zelda!!!

Pros: Bought this for my then girlfriend (now my wife) when I bought our Wii. She's a Zelda fan and so am I. She couldn't put it down! Great game. Motion controls fit the game and feel good, NOT awkward and gimmicky like some.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: Gotta find the time to finish this. It's really good!

Rating + 5 The best Zelda game ever!!!!!!

Pros: Extremely fun and interesting. This was actually my first game I had played of the legend of Zelda series. Since then I have play they others but I think this one beats them all. Fast pace and it makes you think. A good game that if you are not inoculated might take a family to figure it out.

Cons: The graphics could use some work because of apparent ridges on the characters when up close.

Other Thoughts: Good music and game play can get your adrenaline pumping at this. In the words of X-Play: Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess gets a 5 out of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rating + 1 Worst.Zelda.Game. ...EVER

Pros: Outstanding Graphics. Amazing Controls. Terrific OGM. You can buy it just to put Homebrew Channel on your console.

Cons: No replay value what-so-ever. After you beat it, you're pretty much done. It's too easy, and you can get 100% completion in LESS than 24 hours of total gameplay. You can complete Cave of Ordeals in less than an hour, can get all the bottles, beat all the bosses, and save Hyrule in LESS THAN A DAY. I kid you not. Do not buy this if you are expecting depth.

Other Thoughts: Seriously, this game has no depth, it's all graphics and ogm. It's not really even a game, it was like a Nintendo demo. Nintendo used it to quick start the Wii, they did not up the graphics on it.

The controls, graphics, and fresh sounds/music will keep you playing the game, but it ends so quickly and abruptly that you are left speechless and dumbfounded and begin asking yourself, "Wow, did I really just spend fifty dollars on a game that doesn't even last me a week." Compare this to Windwaker for the Gamecube and even with Windwaker you get more for your buck. Windwaker had replay value, as you could go back and beat it again with a different costume. Hell, the computer difficulty in this game is a joke. My nine year old brother can beat this game in 21 hours. I can beat it in less. Both games were short but this one takes the cake for no depth.

You'll be better off buying:

Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, Smash Brothers Brawl, Battalion Wars, Fire Emblem...

Rating + 4 Must have

Pros: Great graphics, animation and sound, wonderful use of the Wiimote and Nunchuck, classic pulls you in Zelda storyline.

Cons: Some parts can get frustrating trying to figure out what to do next or how to achieve what you know you have to. Your imp friend can be as annoying as helpful at times. You can't skip through a cut scene or tutorial.

Other Thoughts: Another great Zelda game worth getting a Wii for. The controls for fishing and sword fighting are just spectacular and you can easily get sucked in and completely lose track of time. It has a few frustrating moments but currently one of the best Wii games out there.

Pros: It's an excellant game. The controls are good, no real problems. I played it 35 hours so far and just recently got the Master Sword. It is quite long. No reason not to get it really.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Wish I got it sooner rather than later.

Rating + 5 new spin on old concept

Pros: Legend of zelda games have always been about the hero saving the princess after battling through a series of dungeons. you always have a sword, shield, arrows, and bombs to protect you. although this is still the case for the most recent zelda title, a new aspect of the game has made it different enough to spice up the same old story while still keeping the integrity of the series. At about the half way mark in Twilight Princess, Link is transformed by the games primary antagonist to complete (or repeat) certain dungeons as a wolf. The game has also translated very well onto the wii platform and controlling Link in human and wolf form is very easy and natural. This game also has a much more intricate story than past zelda games and is much easier to get into.

Cons: There are few cons to this game that i have found, but they're there. the most annoying thing about this game for me was how long it took to get moving. The first two or three hours of the game are quite boring, but once you get past that you'll be glued to the chair. And whether or not this should be viewed as a con is up to the player, but the game is horribly addicting. you will start blowing off your friends to sit in your basement and play.

Other Thoughts: you should go buy this game if you're into RPG puzzle games.

Pros: Wii remote works good as a sword.

Cons: Too many cut scenes. Very little action. Annoying sidekick.

Rating + 5 One of the best titles on Wii.

Pros: I haven't played Zelda since the SNES days so I picked up a copy of Twilight Princess with my Wii. This is by far one of the best RPG titles on the Wii right now. It took me just under 40 hours to beat the game and that was with skipping all the extra content without every hidden ability.

Cons: Graphics seem kind of outdated. Constantly being bombarded with dungeons got tedious after a while. The majority of the boss fights were so easy that I could beat them my first try. Doesn't have any real replay value once you beat it.

Other Thoughts: I read recently they already have another Zelda under production. Sadly there isn't too many good titles on the Wii at the moment.

Rating + 5 One of the best Zelda games.

Pros: I've had this game since the Wii's launch (11/19/06) and I still think that it's a great game. The graphics are good (even though it's Gamecube's level), very fun, some hard puzzles, and tons of action.

Cons: I don't think that this is the best Zelda game. My first impressions of Orcarina of Time was better. However, this game is in my top5 of Zelda games. The controls could've been better on the Wii. Nothing really special though, it's just a Gamecube port. Hopefully the next Zelda game will have some good Wii controls, the controls in this works, but it doesn't really add too much to it like in other Wii games.

Other Thoughts: If you have a Wii then I will highly reccomend you getting this game if you don't have it already. If you don't you're really missing out on a lot. Whether your a Zelda fan or even a new comer.

Rating + 5 Play 'til you drop!

Pros: This is so much fun to play, I don't think I could ever go back to traditional "thumbs only" game consoles. The storyline is interesting enough to keep you going, and the controls are easy to remember, challening to execute.

Cons: You can't skip through storyline video screens, which can get irritating when you're re-trying a level for the nth time. Oh, and it's WAY too addictive. I've stayed up far too late playing, because "I JUST HAVE TO GET THROUGH THIS LEVEL!"

Other Thoughts: This is one of the best games I've ever played!

Pros: Better storyline, you play a descendant of Link. Great use of the Wii controller. Tons of side quests. Lots of misc things to do, like fishing of course (much more fun with the Wii controller).

Cons: There are more side quests than the acutal storyline, not a bad con but for people who don't like side quests the game will be a lot shorter.

Other Thoughts: I beat the game in a week without the side quests, and I don't play daily. I started playing agian with the side quests and it might take several weeks to finish.

Rating + 5 Another Take: Sit and Be Fit

Pros: My first review, I was still in Link's Village (The Prologue). Now I've got a sword and was shocked (in a good way) to learn how it is supposed to be used. Little did I know I was supposed to swing the remote to equip the sword. Whoa! And then to my surprise, there are multiple ways to swing it... even shaking the nunchuck attachment to do the spin move. Sword fighting requires movement of both arms and hands. Talk about an immersive workout. Excellent.

Cons: You can get tired. If you aren't in shape, this game will get you started.

Other Thoughts: 480P is nice but I really wish Nintendo would have developed their system to do 720P at the least. The games are so amazing with the new style of play that it doesn't matter all that much.

Rating + 5 AWESOME GAME

Pros: I am one of the biggest Zelda fans, and this game does not dissapoint! Tons of new items, challenging dungeons, and the controls are very easy and fun!

Cons: Little stuff here:
1. Wii-mote speaker seems to scream at you with this game(very load compared to other wii games) But the wii-mote volume can be turned down, so no biggy.

2. Graphics quality is a little less than i expected(lots of shiny, blurry textures)

Other Thoughts: This is one of the best Zelda games out there! If you have a wii, you shouldn't have to think about buying it, just do it!

Pros: Game has great controls. Takes just a bit to get used to, but definately revolutionary. ;)
Love it! Graphics, although not top-notch, are really rather good! I can't complain. Besides, you dont buy it just for the graphics, right? Replay value is great, too even though I haven't played it very much yet. So far so good!

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: Newegg shipped it out and I actually got it in two days! Faster than expected service. Newegg is the best! I don't think I'll buy anything from the stores anymore. Always go with Newegg.

Rating + 5 480P (Check Your Settings)

Pros: If you are a fan of the Zelda series, this is a must have title. For those people with EDTVs or HDTVs, make sure your Wii is set to 480P and not 480i. The default setting on the Wiis is 480i. I figured this our after reading the instruction manual. Your games will look twice as good.

Cons: Using the Remote and nunchuck attachment takes practice.

Other Thoughts: Make sure your Wii is set to 480P (progressive scan) if you own an HDTV or an EDTV. [The extra purchase of component cables is necessary for 480P] By default the Wii is set to 480i (interlaced) which is not near as nice as the 480P.

Pros: Amazing graphics. Awesome fight scenes. Cool new weapons. Its really sweet.

Cons: Is kinda boring at the beginning. Not really much of a story line for a while. Takes a long time to just understand it.

Cons: Drags a bit at the beginning...

Cons: As with most Zelda games, it's not pick-up-and-play. You have to set aside a Sunday and have hours to yourself.

Rating + 5 Great game for an amazing system

Pros: Great game. I can't stress how good a game this is. If you consider yourself a gamer you must find the time to play this game. If you don't own a Wii find someone who does, I can pretty much guarantee they will have this game in their collection.

Cons: A little slow starting but then it just rockets off.

Other Thoughts: While the Wii isn't a terribly powerful machine this game shows what it is capable of. Can't wait to see what publishers put out for this system in the future.

Rating + 5

Pros: This is by far the best Zelda Game to date, and I have been playing Zelda since the first one was released on the NES. Story line is amazing and there is always something to do. Controls are top notch and they make use of the Wii mote perfectly. I played this same game on the Cube and now i can't seem to play it on there anymore because the Wii mote is so much better!

Cons: Final Boss Battle was a little easy I think, but very fun. Also the beginning is a little boring, but the rest of the game makes up for that.

Other Thoughts: This is by far the best adventure launch title I have ever played since Mario 64. There are just countless hours awaiting you in this game. Defiantly the must-have game for the Wii.

Rating + 5 A Long and Involving Game

Pros: A good game. The graphics are nice, the controls (and this is just me) are natural and easy to get used to. The use of the Wii remote as a pointing device when using the bow, hookshot, etc. is a feature I wish was possible on some of the older systems' (and newer systems') games. The sidequests are numerous and entertaining (I love the bit where you get to snowboard on a chunk of ice). A long, involving game that will keep you busy from the day you get it to the day you beat it, and maybe even further than that. I have only owned it for 1 1/2 months, so I cannot comment on the replay value.

Cons: Not many. Midna's voice on the Wii remote is a bit annoying in some spots where she is spoken to a lot, but you can turn the volume for the remote off using the Home menu. Not too terribly hard.

Other Thoughts: Very fun. If you have doubts, try renting it before buying it (even though the purchase of this highly polished game is inevitable after renting it).

Pros: Great Controls
REALLY fun game play.
Huge world to explore.

Cons: Keeps you from important things like girlfriends, showers, schools, jobs, food, etc.

Other Thoughts: This game is BIG. I've clocked almost 50 hours on it so far. I'm close to the "final"battles, but there is so much to do in this world, I don't want to end it until I've accomplished everything.

This is the true sequel to Ocarina of Time, and the best gaming experience I've had in a long time. Welcome back, Nintendo!

Rating + 5 Just like the old days

Pros: So you haven't played Zelda since the early 90's ay? Well this is the perfect way to get back into the game. Nintendo reintroduces its old gaming experiece of that of dunk hunt. where the player physically plays the game. The Wii Zelda does this in so many different ways. From casting your fishing pole, to slaying shadow monsters with a sword. you can do it all.

Cons: because the wii remote is so sensitive, sometimes unwanted actions are preformed. Like any game. it does take awhile to get used to using the new controller. And there are almost too many controls to remember. Since there are 12 buttons it can become confusing because there are numerous actions for some buttons.

Other Thoughts: Excellent game if you are a true Zelda fan. Will bring back timeless memories.

Pros: Ive had the game since Christmas, and I really like it. The story, and map is close to The Ocorina of Time, except they added A LOT. The plot is a great lead, and you never want to put it down. Great use of the Wiimote.

Cons: My only con is that Nintendo OVER USED the new dungeon items.

Other Thoughts: This is the first game you should buy for the wii. Even if it gets annoying if you play it for 8 hours straight.

Pros: Use of the Wii controller is nice. Using the controller as a sword is pretty sweet. Many different moves. The slingshot is pretty cool too.

Cons: Hard to change camera angles. Beginning of the game is realllly boring. Nothing screams about the gameplay.

Other Thoughts: This game is worth renting if you wanna give it a try. If you're only going to get one game for the Wii, I wouldn't recommend this one.

Rating + 5 Classic

Pros: Great story with more depth to characters than the usual Zelda game. Unbelievably great control of aiming with weapons like the bow. Increased importance of actually knowing how to use all Link's sword moves (some enemies are VERY tough without it). It even has a "Cave of Ordeals" to give greater challenge to the experience player (completely optional).
Overall great feel to the game.

Cons: A little easy, but I don't feel that that hurts the value much.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great game well deserving of the 95-100% reviews it got from all sorts of media.

Rating + 5 Amazing!

Pros: Awesome story-line
Immersive gameplay
Huge dungeons
Very little "fluff" between real action
Tons of mini-game type playable cut-scenes

Cons: Graphics are beatiful, but are pretty obviously ported directly from the Game Cube version of the game.

The controls are really intuitive and fun, but a bit more control over the swordplay and the wolf attacks would have made this game even more compelling.

Other Thoughts: Some people have claimed that they would have liked to hear the spoken dialog, but I wonder if that would have worked. Nothing can ruin a game faster than mediocre voice-acting, and I like being able to read at my own pace...

Pros: This game will most likely be the game of the year. Of all the games available for the Wii at launch this is the only one worth buying and the only one I would consider playing. The temples are all new and unique with some cool new weapons to add to your many ways to kill your opponets.

Cons: The only thing I don't really like about the game is the Z-Targeting because it will target your close range enemies, but not ones that are farther away.

Other Thoughts: I would buy the Wii just to play this game. I'm about 35 hours into the game and am almost done, i think.
