This is _NOT_ FF2US
Pros: A must-have for the Final Fantasy freaks, another classic in the line of Square Enix' Final Fantasy Series, available in yet another handheld format.
Thankfully, this one at least got a cosmetic facelift, unlike the GBA version (Dawn of Souls).
Cons: Load times were oddly timed. With UMD caching on, I entered fights with dialogue and very complicated backgrounds in new areas without any waiting. Other times I would be grinding a couple levels and fighting the same monsters over and over in the same environment and would get a randomly-placed 10-12 second "Loading..." before entering a battle.
Other Thoughts: Another reviewer mentioned the nostalgia of playing this game on SNES, when it was not released in the US. FF2US was released as FF4 in Japan. FF2 in Japan was only available for the Famicom (NES), and was a very well-done game for its day. As a former Squaresoft beta tester, this was easily one of my favorites, and looks great now that they've finally added video!

Classic RPG! Still as fun as the first time!
Pros: Great game play, plenty of hours of fun. The story is quite involved, will keep you busy for awhile. Reminds me of the good ol' NES days when I first played this game and FF III.
Cons: Graphics are pretty simple, but then again, this is a refresh of an old game. My biggest con is they haven't made Final Fantasy VII yet for the PSP!
Other Thoughts: If you want a taste of FF nostalgia, look no further. You won't be dissapointed!
