Great Remote
Pros: Handles all our entertainment devices, projectors, ceiling fans, all at the touch of "one" button. Activity remoting is the way to go, turns on and controls the volume of the receiver, sets the input, turns on the TV, sets it to HDMI, turns on the DVD Recorder, controls the channel changing on the DVD Recorder, starts the DVD playing...etc all by touching the Watch Movie button!!!!
Cons: It won't cook dinner for me...
Other Thoughts: The remote doesn't deserve a one star because of the delay between commands. There is a latency setting, when lowered will eliminate the delay between commands in the software. The remote is great, I don't have to train my family to watch a movie. My kids can operate the entertainment center like pros.

The Word Of The Day Is Clunky
Pros: Software is easy to use, and the self learning feature is pretty awesome.
Cons: Everything else. Very slow response times between key presses on the remote. The number buttons are just too small for people with average sized fingers. When changing the volume on my stereo, it would lag behind the button presses so that when I hit the sweet spot, it would still be sending out more volume down commands.
Other Thoughts: I received this as part of a combo deal on a TV from Newegg, and I'm really glad I didn't have to pay for it. If you don't mind waiting a second between each button press for the remote to work well, than this might just work for you. If you're like me, and you expect the button lag to be below conscious awareness, look elsewhere.

Very Nice
Pros: It connects to just about anything! It connected to my TV, Xbox 360, Surround sound, and DirecTV HDDVR.
Cons: Odd shape to the bottom, but oh well.
Other Thoughts: I got it free with a 52" TOSHIBA REGZA!!! I hit the jackpot with that thing and this! Id buy this again if I wanted to spend the money.

Tries Too Hard
Pros: Attractive. Good software & USB programming.
Cons: The remote requires that you use "activities" such as "watch TV" or "Play DVD". It will turn on your various components and set them ready for the activity. I found that the built in routines, ratehr than saving me time or trouble, interferred with my ease and control.
Other Thoughts: I sent it back and was sad that it did not work for me. I am sticking with my good ol' $20 learning IR remote.

Fantastic Remote!
Pros: Great software with step by step instructions to program your remote. I was able to program my xbox360, television, dvd player and a cable box. The process was very easy from a technical perspective but did take a little bit of time. The remote is very comfortable when in your had and does not feel cheap like many others. The remote is backlight and you can turn it on and off at any time.
By far my favorite feature was the "activities". By hitting activities and selecting "play xbox" for example my television turns on (if its not on already). The television changes to the right input and my xbox turns on. I was able to even use the remote on the xbox dashboard to access videos etc.
The LCD display was extremely helpful because it provides access to many of the model specific buttons.
Cons: Response time is a bit slower then an original remote. For example, shifting through the guide menu on the cable box seemed a bit slower then the original remote however it's not bad enough to make me stop using the product.
Some may find this positive but there is a distinct "click" when pushing certain buttons.
Other Thoughts: As always newegg shipped the product out very fast and had it at my door in no time.

my first all in one remote
Pros: all buttons light up in the dark, easy to use. took about 20 minutes to setup on the computer and it was easy, the menus were easy to go through, you just have to know how your system is hooked up, ie ... what device uses hdmi, what device uses component cables and so on. you also have to know the model numbers on everything including for example your comcast cable box(which i found on the bottom of my box)
after i was done setting this up, one button would turn on the tv,cable box, and receiver. The remote "knows" what devices are on so if I hit my second programmed button for watching a DVD, only my cable box turns off and my DVD player turns on. also it will auto switch the tv inputs to the correct one( from composite to HDMI.) all comcast options work like on-demand menus and page up and down buttons. I now use one remote instead of four remotes. truly awsome
Cons: doesn't work through walls because it is not an RF remote, it is only an IR remote. batteries are not rechargeable, but i hate rechargeable batteries to begin with.
Other Thoughts: will it start my car?! :)
