Still ticking
Pros: It has been 2 years since I initially purchased this product and I am quite pleased. Multitude of features. Several updates to the firmware and applications have been helpful.
Cons: Movement can be a little noisy. Like other posted stated, manual would be better if it had examples and a little better explaination of some items. Logs show errors if something is misconfigured or not working right, but doesn't give you enough information to go on.
Other Thoughts: Great camera! I hope that a widescreen version comes out soon that has better optical zoom and other additional features such as wireless N...

Pretty good and pretty pricey
Pros: Initial install was easy and worked the first time. It sends snapshots via e-mail for motion detection. Motion Detection works well but requires lots of trials and errors to adjust for right sensitivity. Very good tool to use free DynDNS service and allows me to view remotely from anywhere. I like the 10X optical zoom. I disabled the digital zoom. Pretty good web based server/browser. WiFi worked the first time. The base do not get really hot and is barely warm. Annoying logon popup can be disabled via web browser.
Cons: The manual should give better or more examples. Clumsy but functional styling.
Other Thoughts: The manual could have been better. It does not give good description or enough examples. A friend with good knowledge of LAN helped me and this knowledge should be mentioned in the manual. But who writes good manuals anyway?

Good Quality & features
Pros: Picture quality is good with there Mpeg 4 codex, Sound is alright, the wireless works pretty well. Overall it's a pretty well designed product.
Cons: 1. When you log into the Web interface there is a pop up that always tells you how many people are connceted to the camera, I wish I could turn that off.
2. It's kind of expensive.
3 Finally, if you mount this camera sitting flat like they show in the picture, the base gets hot and I mean really hot. I'm not sure if it would start a fire, but it would give my laptop a run for it's money on heat output
Other Thoughts: I wouldn't mind seeing this in a weather proof housing, but then again to keep the quality of it and add weather proofing it would probably be way out of my price range.

Not too shabby
Pros: The camera has good distance thanks to the zoom. It can view color in almost complete darkness. The built-in mic isn't too bad.
Cons: The software could be a bit better, but for what it has it does fine.
Other Thoughts: The price is somewhat justified thanks to the features.
