For my wife
Pros: Uses USB or SD card for storage
Cons: Resolution
Other Thoughts: For the price, this is a pretty good digital frame. The resolution isn't great; if you get close to the frame, the image looks pretty pixelated. If this is your price range and you like the look, then grab this frame!

Alright
Pros: Overall I cannot complain.
Has self timers to turn itself on or off at predetermined times.
Picture quality is ok and price is good.
Cons: When set to start automatically, it doesn't find the memory card installed to display pictures from without user intervention. May just require an update.

Pros: Price, Great for teen's room or desk at work.
Cons: Not very big, controls are hard to use and directions are not very good. Next to nothing for internal memory Hannspree should tell you this not Newegg's fault. Be prepared to buy memory card with item.

not so hot
Pros: n/a
Cons: Gross looking images because of poor resolution of the cheap, little screen.
A little too small to view from more than 3 feet away.
Pictures rotated on the computer don't rotate on the frame.
Menu system is so hard to work. I hate it.
Other Thoughts: My grandma likes it, so I gave it to her. She has all her friends over to see the little TV with pictures on it.
I'm happy I didn't have to throw it away.

VERY basic frame
Pros: Low price
Cons: Internal memory
Other Thoughts: OK, Sure. 8Mb of internal memory with a resolution of 480 x 234. compressed JPEGS at that resolution should run around 50k each, so I can fit about 160 photos on the internal memory. UNLESS THE WAY IT IS ADDRESSED LIMITS YOU TO 15 PHOTOS MAX!!! And, by the way, the other reviewers who put the actual res at 720x408 are right. Don't spend two hours resizing 120 pics to 480x234. You'll find out that: 1- They don't take advantage of the actual res of the frame's LCD 2- Only the first 15 can be copied to internal memory 3- You're on your way to the store to buy a 2Mb SD card which would hold all of those photos at full res.
Why do I never learn? Bargains that are too good to be true ARE too good to be true. NewEgg shipped the product quickly, it arrived in good condition. The free upgrade in resolution without notification was well-intentioned, I'm sure. The omission of the limitations of the frame's internal memory were from the manufacturer, not NewEgg

Nice frame...
Pros: Good brightness, support for different cards and usb, internal memory, calendar and time, nice transitions, etc
Cons: couldn't yet figure out how to copy to internal memory - but then again I haven't played with it enough, nor read the manual, yet. Perhaps the resolution... but then again, for the price, it's fine (the resolution cost it one egg)
Other Thoughts: it does what it should - and for the price... who can complain about anything... it is bright and colorful...

Great little frame for a great price
Pros: Great price. Sturdy build. Bright Screen with controls for saturation, contrast, and brightness. Easily transfer pictures from USB/Memory stick "without PC" (Still need to crop images).
Cons: Instructions are somewhat lacking. 480x234 Resolution is WRONG - 720X408 is a MUCH better resolution and makes great pictures.
Other Thoughts: First off let me say that this is a great little frame once images are cropped to the right size. Originally i cropped images at 480x234, the resolution displayed on the box and found my images horribly pixelated and with black borders I didn't want. I was tempted to return it until i noticed the demo images. These images were large yet still clear and were displayed at 720x408 with no borders. Sure enough after resizing my pictures to that size the images came out clear, fullscreen with no borders, and surprisingly sharp.
As long as you change your picture size to 720x408 pixels, this frame is amazing.

Decent for the price
Pros: Good amount of features for the price. Decent quality image if you view the frame from a normal range (not with your nose to it)
Cons: Seems to get pretty warm. Good thing it has an auto on/off feature.
Other Thoughts: As others have said, the resolution is misleading, 480x234 sized images give you black bars at the top and bottom. I've been using 720x408 (which is what the built-in sample pictures use) and they look alright.

Best for value
Pros: Picture quality very good. I love its look. Pls dont compare with expensive digital frames. I have no complains about picture resolution.

Is what it is
Pros: -A digital picture frame that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
-Works like you'd expect
-Simple setup and settings.
Cons: -The buttons for left/right up/down selections work opposite of what it shows on screen? Odd, but still works the same way and doesnt take long to get used to.
Other Thoughts: Look at the specs, does this cover your needs? Don't compare it to $200 models..... So sick of seeing reviews for products "well, its not as good as my xxx that cost forty times as much". Duh.

Not bad
Pros: Well, it's cheap, and it does its job.
Cons: It would be nice if it could randomize the pictures, but instead it scrolls through, alphabetically, over and over.
Other Thoughts: It says the resolution is 480 x 234, but if you upload a picture of that size, you'll learn the screen leaves black bars at the top and bottom, like the real resolution is about 480 x 254. Why is this? I don't know. Just don't spend a long time cropping all your desired pictures only to learn that you need to redo them all. I made that mistake.

Okay
Pros: Pretty cheap.
Cons: So you pay for what you get something that is okay but not the greatest. Very pixelated if the resolution on it would be a little better I think it would be a great buy. For the majority of the photos it is blurry and detail is very important to me and this is just not that great when it comes down to it. So spend a little more money and get yourself a nicer one.

It still works!
Pros: It still works!
Cons: Resolution could be better
Other Thoughts: For the price on this, it's definitely a good product. If you're looking for razor sharp pix, go elsewhere. If budget conscious, this one's a winner. I wish the buttons were a bit more accessible instead on behind the frame...maybe towards the side edge or something. An internal battery would've been nice so there's no need to reset the date/time every time it's powered off. Once again, great deal though.

Best frame for the $$
Pros: Bright clear pictures, low price, easy to use.
Cons: The only con I can think of is that there is no random order feature. The pictures always display in the same order.
Other Thoughts: 960 x 544 resolution still looks best.
This is the 4th one of these I have bought, all work flawlessly.

For the Price, a Pretty Good Deal
Pros: For a $30.00 unit, it is a good unit. I had mine up and running within 10 minutes. I loaded up my memory card and I quickly had my slide show for all to see. The Calandar and Time functions are a nice touch and add to the value. The Ability to set a turn on time and turn off time adds even more.
Cons: The primary con would be resolution. But what do you expect for $30.00. Some of my pictures look good, others not so good. The key is having a good resolution photo to begin with. It would be nice to have an auto resize feature, but again, this is a $30.00 unit. The navigation is a bit clunky, but perfectly usable. I did not have to use the instructions at all. You really cannot complain too much about this unit, for $30.00.
Other Thoughts: In the reviews, I noticed many saying it would not read the card directly when the unit was turned off and you lost your settings. First, the unit reads directly from my card, everytime. You have to remove all of the garbage images from the very small internal memory. Once you do that, it will read from your memory card everytime. Secondly, if you unplug or physically turn the unit off using the on off switch, yet, you do loose your time and calendar settings. I have mine set to turn on and off at set times. When it turns back on, all of my settings are fine. So, do not use the on off swich and make sure you keep it plugged in, or be prepared to set the unit back up. This is my first digital frame unit. I wanted a unit that did not cost a lot and soemthing I could bring to work. This fit that bill perfectly. Once I work on adding some addtional pictures it will be a great office addition!

Great if your not a huge geek
Pros: I bought this as a mother's day gift...for my mother. She absolutely loves it. Everytime I meander to my parents house it's on in the living room. It's affordable, and uses MicroSD and USB drives. Mac/Win compatible too.
Cons: Screen doesn't give off the best resolution, but it's not bad. Set up is kind of clunky, but after you do it, you won't need to again.
Other Thoughts: Screen smudges easily, but then again, why are you touching the screen?!

Great Gift
Pros: Great price, nice picture, screen is plenty bright. Menu is pretty easy to use. I gave a couple as gifts to retired parents and they are able to figure it out with a quick walkthru.
Cons: Doesn't have a random feature for selecting next picture, so pictures always play in the same order. Internal memory can only hold 12-13 pictures, even when you reduce the size. There is plenty of room left in memory, but that's it. Always defaults to internal memory when you turn it on, so you have to use the menu to select flash drive/memory card every time you use it.
Other Thoughts: It's not a big deal to select memory card when you turn the frame on, just shouldn't have to. I have bought 2 already, and will probably get more for gifts. Load up a cheap SD card and it plays for a long time. I have found the best size to reduce pictures to is 960 x 544, this fills up the screen and looks slighty better than the 480 x 272 size of the screen

Nice for price, but only 8MB storage
Pros: Good frame for the price. Clock is nice feature. I had a 256MB SD card laying around that was more than enough for the pics I wanted.
Cons: Very small internal memory. If you use a usb flash drive, most of them will stick out the side of the frame viewable from the front of frame.
Other Thoughts: Use a SD memory card. Internal memory is too small. A random feature would have been nice.

Inexpensive alternative
Pros: Inexpensive, works, onboard memory (8MB), auto on/off function, card reader and usb port, glossy black bezel.
Cons: 8MB of onboard memory, image quality, can only display pictures from 1 location at a time (i.e. usb, card reader, onboard memory)
Other Thoughts: Reads my 8GB usb flash drive. Although image quality is not stellar this is still a great inexpensive alternative. You have to make sacrafices somewhere.

Great Price, Great Product
Pros: This product is probably the cheapest and nicest looking digital frame out there. I was nervous because of the resolution, but pretty much all of my photo graphs I had came out with decent to good quality. Matches with pretty much any living space decor.
Cons: Needs a memory card for space. Not much memory in the device (but one should buy a small memory stick with it anyway. Got one for around $6). Menu was a little tricky to figure out to make the transitions work but maybe that is a user error thing.
Other Thoughts: I bought this for my mother for her birthday and she was overjoyed. Your typical digital frame will cost usually around $70+. This simple product is a great gift for almost anyone who has a lot of pictures they wanna show off.

Great product for the price
Pros: It's got a couple of annoyances (see cons), but overall, for the price, you're getting a great little digital picture frame.
I've got a 1GB SD card with hundreds of pictures (resized/optimized for the LCD size) and they all look great!
Has an auto-on & auto-off feature based on time! (See cons...)
Cons: No random option, always loops through pics in the same order (not a problem, just not ideal with hundreds of pics)
When turning it on, you have to press the "check" button 2 times to get into your pictures on your SD card, otherwise it will cycle through the pictures stored on the frame (although I haven't tried removing those pics from internal memory to see what it would do if there aren't any pics there... hmmmmmm)
Forgets the current time whenever you power it off (not unplugging it, just turning off the power switch). It seems to "remember" all the other default settings you set, but now the auto-on & auto-off feature doesn't work as expected because the time is Off the next time you turn on the frame.
Other Thoughts: Nice frame. We've turned it on in the morning & off at night EVERY day for the last 6 months & it's still flipping pictures just fine.

Great product.
Pros: I got this for my wife on mothers day. For the price, this frame far exceeds my expectations in functions and display clarity. I highly recommend.
Cons: Instructions are quite sparse
Other Thoughts: Works best if you have software to reduce the long side size to 720 or 680

Nice Price, Great Product
Pros: Very Good picture resolution for a budget digital frame. Accepts SD cards and USB Flash drives to download pictures and you can have the frame do a rotation of pictures on both devices. Wall mountable option is a plus.
Cons: None at this time
Other Thoughts: I got this for my wife as a gift. The configuration menu was a little tededious for us at the beginning to learn but after 15 minutes we learned how to navigate through it.

Decent Frame For Price
Pros: Price
Cons: Pictures are not resized automatically. No ability to save time/date or other custom settings(effects, stream, speed, etc.) when unplugged. That's a pain in the nut-olas.
Other Thoughts: i don't expect a digital frame that i paid $32 for to do those things that only top-notch frames do. It gets 4 eggs for overall. If i were rating it only as a cheap frame, it would get 5.

Nothing special
Pros: Looks nice for a smaller pic frame, low price, pretty easy to figure out with out instructions.
Cons: Somewhat grainy display, feels "cheap"
Other Thoughts: If you arent looking for anything but a cheap digital picture frame this thing is just fine. But you get what you pay for, like I said the display is very pixelated (low resolution) and the color seems to be sorta weird but it can be adjusted. If I was gonna do it again I'd spend the extra ten or fifteen bucks on a better one.

Great for the price
Pros: Great price, free shipping, plays off SD card, and it's easy to use.
Cons: Screen isn't super sharp, but it's plenty good for a $30 digital frame
Other Thoughts: People who are making complaints aren't considering what you should expect to get for $30. This is great for your parents preloaded with pics of the grand babies, and I think I'm going to get another to put on my desk with family pics in it.

Good, for the money
Pros: Good price for a first time buyer. I like the internal memory. USB port is very nice, but you can't connect directly to a pc; you have to connect your usb key to it..still nice to have! Clock/calendar are cool. All the features you really need.
Cons: The resolution is the only thing I can complain about here. No matter the resolution of your picture, it's still only going to be 480 x 234 in this frame. It is quite grainy especially if they're displayed cropped, which happens if you have portrait and landscape pics in it at the same time(some will have to be cropped). If the pic takes up the entire screen you can see it a lot better. Close ups show up much better than a small subject in the frame. Oh ya, it won't play music. The ones that play mp3s add a nice touch to a slideshow of photos.
Other Thoughts: I would seriously consider one with a higher resolution, but as a inexpensive gift for someone who's never had one of these, or for a first-timer, this is a good product.

Very good.
Pros: Cost, of course. Looks nice, simple to use, bright screen with good viewing angles except from the bottom up. Auto-rotate to go from portrait to landscape is quick and easy, as is the included stand. Lots of neat transitions, SDHC card support. Auto on/off is very handy.
Cons: No software to get the less tech-savvy going. Viewing angle from below the frame (landscape mode) up is not good. If you plan on using this on a high-up shelf, look elsewhere. Also, the aspect ratio is VERY wide. Make sure your photos have plenty of space on top and bottom so you can get a proper crop in.
Other Thoughts: This frame far exceeded my expectations. The resolution is not the best, but it is sufficient, especially if you are getting this for a parent or grandparent.
Using PS to automatically size/crop the photos for the frame (700x400 works best, even though the tin says 480x232), you can (literally) fit over 10,000 photos on a 4GB SDHC card. Dating back to 2005, when I started using a digital camera, I don't even have 7,000 photos. A single 4GB card holds my entire collection.
I have seen some strange complaints in these reviews (only being able to use the internal memory?), but I think most of them are user error. This is a very good, very affordable frame. Highly recommended.

Not bad, not good.
Pros: Does what it's supposed to. Large number of transition types.
Cons: Panel quality is incredibly average and user interface is very poor. Doesn't always display all the pictures you put on it.
Other Thoughts: Wouldn't buy it for myself, but for less tech-savvy individuals, it's impressive. I bought it for my mom for Mother's Day.

Good Quality, iffy functionality
Pros: The Screen Quality is GREAT! Vivid colors, easy to navigate with buttons. Basic and Functional Menu.
Cons: So I filled up an SD card to leave in this frame but soon found out that it will only continuously play slideshows from internal memory, and will not do so from a memory card, or usb drive. Internal memory only holds about 12 photos... LAME!!!
Other Thoughts: I work in I.T., and am in and around my desk alot, and a 12 photo rotation is pretty small considering the sizes of SD cards out right now. This is kinda a deal breaker for me.

Good frame for the price
Pros: -Cheap -Ok picture quality -Doesn't look too cheap
Cons: -Viewing angle
Other Thoughts: For the price, really good purchase. Don't compare to those $100+ frames, as they are in different league. The image is best when viewed down, so this is not to be used on high shelf.
Native resolution is marked incorrect, by the way. The package says it's 480x234, but actually it is 480x272. When using latter aspect ratio in pictures, it will fill up the screen 100%. 480x234 will leave black bars on top and bottom.

Nice deal
Pros: Super rice and free shipping from Newegg. Installs and functions are very easy once you find them. Quality is nice and it supports a wide selection of card types/sizes.
Cons: Took a bit of guess work to figure out but it works well. Would be nice if it would remember the settings when shut off. We have to reset the preferences to the card each time it is off and back on.
Other Thoughts: Over all is was a great deal for the price.

Good deal for sure
Pros: Works like a charm, Good resolution, easy to setup, just unplug the memory card from the camera and straight to viewing pics. Nice.
Cons: none so far. Been running continuous since Xmas!!
Other Thoughts: We don't use the calendar/clock feature, don't really like the way it is setup and viewed..... I had bought more pricier displays this one works much better, plus they sponsor SBK Go Ben Spies!!!

Good Digital-frame
Pros: Good price, timer (auto on/off) function. Does what it says it will. I am pleased and run my family photo's at my desk.
Cons: since I have to say something here - the frame is a shiny fingerprint magnet.
Other Thoughts: Close up you can see the resolution is not very high, but it the resolution advertised, so not a big deal - just thought its worth mentioning for those who might be expecting HD quality out of a >40 frame.

Good value
Pros: Good resolution for the size. Intuitive interface for non-technical types. Manufactured by a company that actually makes the TFT panel.
Cons: None really. More resolution and a larger panel would be nice, but given the price it cannot be beat.

works as advertised
Pros: Simple to use, decent resolution, remote is handy

Nice features - low resolution
Pros: Price point, desktop sized, lots of software features.
Auto picture rotate feature is cool. Lock it on a photo then flip the frame and the picture will rotate.
Cons: Resolution is low... just as the spec indicates.
Other Thoughts: For the price this is a fine unit. Think I'll buy a couple more.

Great buy
Pros: Price, good picture quality, simple to set up, lots of features for the price
Cons: On-board memory pretty much useless
Other Thoughts: For the price, this is a great buy. Other digital picture frames are easily double the price of this one. Picture quality is great for the price. Even cell phone pics looks good. Kind of wish the frame had the ability to run off of batteries in-case a plug is not always available. I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a digital picture frame at a reasonable cost.

Awesome Frame
Pros: Would buy again, and again, and again. Great quality (assuming you have right resolution uploaded). Gave it to my girlfriend for Valentines Day and she thought it was easy to use. Same with me. Nice frame also.
Cons: The menu resolution is kind of choppy, but that doesn't matter since the digital photo frame is for pictures! Internal memory is small. None besides these.
Other Thoughts: I was expecting somewhat choppy pictures since I was only spending $40, but I was totally wrong. Reading other reviews, some people were able to use external memory. The directions aren't the best, but my non-tech savvy girlfriend still understood them.

You get what you pay for
Pros: - It's cheap
Cons: - Poor instructions - Bad UI - 8mb internal storage (and from what I've tried it seems there's a max amount of 15 photos stored internally regardless of their kb)
Other Thoughts: - buy an SD card as well - Screen is fair for the price

Do not buy!!
Pros: none.
Cons: I bought this for my wife (not a geek) and she found it very difficult to use. There is not a way to set a default power up mode so she must use the very clumsy menus each time she turns it on. The buttons are on the back of the unit and not marked.
Other Thoughts: I bought 3 items from this company in a single order and all have had workmanship problems for which the company does everything in its power to avoid having to correct. They are not reputable and are in the business of selling cheap hardware and running away from the customer once they have your money!

It looks fine, a little quirky
Pros: The pictures look great, it has auto on/off feature.
Cons: The auto on feature is nice, except when it comes on, it only displays the 3 built in pictures, you have to manually select the pictures from the memory card in order to view them
Other Thoughts: doesn't come with a remote control (doesn't matter) and it doesn't hook directly up to your computer, you have to use a memory card reader to load pics on it.

Not bad
Pros: Cheap. I've wanted a photo frame for some time, but couldn't stand the idea of blowing $80-$100 for something that you glance at every once in a while. Low power consumption. Measured at 4 watts, so it's not going to cost a fortune to run all day.
Cons: Picture quality could be better. But for the price is still nice. If you sit a few feet away from it, it looks decent. Nice color and contrast. AS someone else stated, it does have the ability to run on a schedule, so it can turn on and off automatically. That's great if you're only home or in the room at certain times. I set mine to run 24x7 because i'm always awake in my office. (Work and goto school from home)
Other Thoughts: I wish someone would make one of these that could look at a network share (Maybe wifi?) and display or sync pictures that way. It would be nice to not have to update the SD card with new pictures. Or maybe a USB connection to a computer and some software that could monitor a folder if it sits close enough to your computer. Not really about this unit, but maybe for someone to build into one some day.

Great photo frame for the price
Pros: Good picture quality for the price. Good brightness and contrast ratios. Simple and not over done with features which keeps the price down. Simular photo frames that I've seen at retail stores easily cost 99 on up. Love the multiple memory card interface and use interface. Unit comes with very low on board memory, but doesnt matter with how el-chepo memory is.
Cons: Doesn't maintain time when you shut it off even though it stays plugged in... so if you manually turn it off, it looses all of the time and auto on/off features you may have setup.

Pros: Cheap, works with pretty much all media, especially sony's memory stick pro

Decent for the price.
Pros: Price. Decent quality. Uses SD and/or USB drive.
Cons: No random feature. No instructions. Doesn't save the date/time.
Other Thoughts: Basically this frame just scrolls through your pictures. It thats what you are looking for than this is for you. If you are looking for any thing else, get something else.

Great product
Pros: Price is excellent, about as much as others paid by risking their lives on Black Friday. Picture quality is on par for products at this price-range. Ease of use is good, like how the menu points up to where the button on the back is, so you don't have to constantly turn it to see which button you're clicking. Accepts a miriad of memory options, recommend picking up a cheap SD card, got an 8GB one for like $12 when I bought this.
Cons: none

Nice 1st Digital Frame
Pros: Well my other half purchased an overpriced no name brand I made him return it got this one on sale from Newegg and its just as good and half the price. I have been buying Hannspree & HannsG products for a year now very good quality and price points that don't kill your wallet
Cons: no remote if thats a con
Other Thoughts: makes a good gift lots of ways to get pics onto frame even usb drives or memory cards take your pick

Pros: Beautiful display. Works great. I ordered a few of these as xmas gifts and was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews about the resolution but honestly unless your within a foot or so of the screen, you probably won't even notice. You really don't need a huge resolution considering it's only a 7" screen.
Cons: Newegg had fast processing as usual but it took UPS over 2 weeks to get these to me.

Good Value
Pros: -Glossy finish makes frame look much nicer than I expected -Purchased a total of 5 as gifts and all worked great out of the box with 0 dead pixels -Can stand vertical or horizontal -Some users/reviews complain the images don't fill the screen, there is an option in the menu to use "full frame" or something to that affect. It will slightly crop your photos but it will fill the whole frame and photos still look great -Brightness is better than I expected -Option to use either SD or USB flash drive
Cons: -No random option, IE when you turn on the frame, you will always view the same pictures in the same order. You must manually change the file names or change pictures on your storage device to see different photo's. This is the biggest con for the frame so take this into careful consideration. If you always leave your frame on and it has a large number of pictures, this really shouldn't be a big deal as you won't notice. -Low resolution: When I first pulled the frame out of the box and turned it on, my initial impression was "what a piece of junk, the resolution is horrible" After getting some pictures on the frame and watching them scroll through, I really think the resolution is fine. If you get close the frame and are looking you will notice it, but from 3 feet + away the frame will look great. It's a low cost frame, don't expect miracles.
Other Thoughts: I bought these frames as gifts and I couldn't be more pleased. My family was very happy with them and it turned out to be a great gift. As mentioned above, the resolution is not amazing, but for the price, this frame is a great value.

OK For An Inexpensive Digital Frame
Pros: Inexpensive, pictures look alright, automatic picture adjustment (landscape/protrait).
Cons: Odd dimensions (it's a bit too tall or wide, depending on orientation) make it so you feel like you should tailor the pictures for the frame. The SD and USB slots could be a bit more recessed so that things don't "stick out".
Other Thoughts: You could pay more and probably get closer to typical 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 dimensions. Something to think about.

Great for the price!
Pros: I bought two of these for Christmas for family. They are inexpensive and offer SD or USB which is what I wanted. The usability is extremely easy for someone to figure out, which is definitely a plus! I am glad I made the purchase!
Cons: The quality is so-so. I'm not blown away by the picture but it's not too bad.
Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, but I think spending more then 50 bucks on one of these would just be ridiculous. After all, it's only a digital frame.

Excellent cheap digital photo frame
Pros: Cheap. Good display if you format your pictures before loading them.
Cons: No memory for last picture diplayed. Turning off/on will start at begining of memory card. However, you can go into the menu and select which pictures to display!
Other Thoughts: Dont listen to complaints about bad resolution! Its in the description, 480x234! What do you expect? Although it seems to take the pics at 400x234. I found formating pictures at double the pixel count (800x468) increased the sharpness of the displayed picture slightly.

Satisfied Customer
Pros: Good picture quality for the price. Some internal memory so you don't need to buy a memory stick. Price. Auto on and auto-off so you can sleep. The fade transition effect is nice. Figured out the process of moving pictures off a USB stick without the manual
Cons: Limited onboard memory holds 20 photos if you're lucky. User interface is kludgy, if you're giving this as a gift put the photos on it yourself. If you rotate it into vertical mode the off angle picture quality drops way off.
Other Thoughts: Get one of the small USB memory sticks so it doesn't stick out past the side. Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Next Christmas I'm going to load up some memory sticks and send them out as updates. They should have removed some of the fancy features and given it more memory for the same price.
Also, a Canoscan LIDE 100 is an awesome $fifty scanner powered by USB that makes a great companion for these things. Just don't try it with Linux.

Wow!
Pros: I just got my frame and love it! If anyone is looking for a great and inexpensive but very nice frame then this is it. The pictures are beautiful and I didn't have to do anything except load them onto my memory card. The menu was easy to use, basically just load the pictures plug and play. I looked at three different websites before I found this one and I couldn't be happier. The resolution is great, easy to use, frame looks nice and the pictures don't need to be cropped. I have the black frame and it blends into my wood furniture very well. If you are a person that loves to take pictures but can't display them all then this is the way to go. And for those that are not technically savvy this really couldn't be any easier to use.
Cons: My only complaint is that I have to put it away until Christmas because it is a present for my husband!
Other Thoughts: The transitions are very nice and you have the option of choosing a random setting or individual transitions. Overall, this is a great frame!

Not too shabby
Pros: This thing is great for the $40 I paid for it. The screen resolution is not wonderful, but the images are still clear and not pixelated too bad. If you resize your photos to native resolution for this thing, you could fit probably a hundred thousand or more photos on a 2GB SD card.
Cons: Not anything seriously wrong with this, but the piano-black finish on the front could be smoother, and you have to press extra buttons after you turn it on to get it to show your pictures (it's only one button though).
Other Thoughts: Overall this is well worth it. If you have a problem with the image quality from this, then you need to go buy one that costs $100 that has much better resolution. The bottom line is that this is the cheapest 5" photo frame I've come across, and if you're expecting the image quality to be amazing, then you might be disapointed with this. If you're realistic in your expectations though, you'll find that this is a great deal on a good product.

Decent enough
Pros: This is simple to understand and very quick to pull out the box, plug in the memory card straight from the camera and go.
Cons: Need to resize my pictures as some show up weird or pixelated
Other Thoughts: Main screen?? Would make sense to start showing photos from power on.
should have bought two at least, this is low price and good performance.
Just need to spend time to adjust pics on the computer which is easy enough with batch programs like IrfanView.

Does What It Says It Does
Pros: Inexpensive; Dark Frame and dark photo edges show photos well; Doesn't do so much that it would overwhelm non-techies; Considering the resolution, shows photos better than I expected; photos' colors show up really well. A good "starter" frame for those with simple needs and tight budgets. Oh, the auto-orientation is a time-saver, too.
Cons: Instructions... It would help to know that the icons displayed at the top of the screen correspond to the buttons in the back. Took me a few minutes to figure that out. Random display of photos would be nice as would a "continuous loop" slideshow.
Other Thoughts: Considering the cost of other, higher quality, do-more photo frames, this is a little gem. A good item to have on hand for family and friends who want to see all the photos you take and can't understand why you just don't edit and print each and every one for them to see.

I am impressed
Pros: resets to landscape or portrait when you turn the frame, plug it in and it is up and running, easy to figure out the controls, uses usb drive or memory card, frame actually looks decent (compare dto the craPpIE ones I got from Walmart, of which 1 arrived with a smashed screen)
Cons: the resolution isn't anything to write home about, but how often are you only inches away from a picture frame in a living room, etc.? Looks fine from 6 feet away.
Other Thoughts: Great deal, if there was free shipping I would have bought more before I actually saw that the product was fairly decent. We actually ordered more to use as gifts.

Good Deal
Pros: Good picture. Low Price. Quick newegg shipping. Lots of different ways to display pictures.
Cons: No random feature. Settings not user friendly. Instructions not so good.
Other Thoughts: Overall a killer deal for the price right now. Comparable frames easily cost twice as much.

Pros: It is a very nice model, has lots of features and many different ways of bringing up pictures. Photo image is excellent.
Cons: Had to buy a flash drive to use with it as it wouldn't read my meomory card. Actually liked that better though.

Started off Beautiful but.....
Pros: box wasnt empty
Cons: screen turned red after 10 mins or so. and stayed thatway.. smelled burning
Other Thoughts: wasted time setting this thing up. remote was hard 2 use (may be my weak fingers). soon as i got it set up and moved into the room it would be in plugged it in turn it on, screen went all Red. smelled burning seemed like semi-conductors or carbon type resistors (use 2 own elecrtronics service center - plenty of experiece with overheating parts doesnt mean i'm an expert though). i took a big chance with this since this previously mentioned. sooner or later maybe i'll get a good one but by then the shipping charges will absorb any savings. i feel scrxxed even though i took the chance, i really hoped they'd fixed their problems and hired competant engineers who allow at least 15% on parts dealing with higher current.

Adequate
Pros: It is exactly what it claims to be, no dead pixels, decent brightness, etc. Picked up for the inlaws based on the price point and loaded some pictures of our son at 1-11 months. He's nearly a year now.
Cons: To be fair, none.
Other Thoughts: You're not getting bleeding edge technology here. The resolution is a bit low by comparisons. I recommend prepping the photos for the resolution in photoshop/fireworks or whatever. I found it really tries to hard to convert high pixel count images into its lower resolution, making for unclear and distorted images. When I cropped our little guy, and then resized the image proportionally in a professional program, it was displayed on the unit immaculately - well again, immaculately for what it is for. I recommend it for inlaws! :D

What you see is not what you get
Pros: Takes SD cards and USB thumb drives, has a good picture (not great), has several different settings for picture viewing, views in horizontal or vertical depending on which side of the frame you turn it, cheap price.
Cons: CLEARLY says in the description that it has an alarm clock and IT DOES NOT!! Very basic functions, very few ways to display the picture, pictures look cheap, poor instructions and no customer service phone number, customer service does not know how to help you with their product.
Other Thoughts: Don't waste your time on this frame unless you only want to see pictures scroll across the screen. It's cheap and you do get what you pay for.

Good for the price.
Pros: Price...Good frame for the low price. Actually looks decent with pictures. Looks better from a distance.
Cons: I didn't expect the quality to be as low as it was...I think next time I would want to see it in person before I bought it. The display picture on Newegg shows a very high quality picture displaying on the frame, when in reality, the quality is very low. The specs show it at 480 by 234, so don't expect really high quality.
Other Thoughts: If you want to know what you're buying, go to the store and see what it looks like in person before buying it online so that you know how good the quality is. I'm not saying buy it in the store, just use the store as a reference.

Not that impressed
Pros: Displays properly resized pictures as well as the next frame.
Cons: Navigation buttons on the back are identified with molded plastic (black on black) not screen-printed labels. Very hard to read. Too many buttons. Harder than it should be to use the menus. Only does photos, not video.
Other Thoughts: I bought another 7" frame here for half the price and it does videos and is easier to use.

Good for the $$$
Pros: Cheap Easy Menus
Cons: Doesn't save the time/date if you turn it off or power goes out, have to reset it everytime. No Auto-Slideshow when you do turn it on.
No random picture view stinks as well, I put a 4gig mini-flashdrive in the back and as the other reviewer said i'll prob. never see all the pictures, just the ones in the begining unless I always leave it on...
If you are going to use a flash drive for the pictures, get a mini-flashdrive otherwise it'll be sticking out of the side of the frame for all to see and looks kinda stupid...

Hannspree 7" Digital Photo Frame
Pros: Picture quality is fair for the price range this frame is in. If it cost any more than $40, I would have rated it 4 stars instead of 5. The black trim around the screen looks pretty good and somewhat shiny. Works great with an SD card. Plenty of settings to adjust slide show speed, screen brightness, contrast, storage device, photo transitions, etc. Overall a good purchase for under $40.
Cons: Picture quality isn't amazing. Buttons feel pretty cheap and menu navigation is a little sluggish.
Other Thoughts: I was a little worried that the screen on this frame would be too dark to see well during the day, but the brightness is perfect at default settings. I bought this for my Grandmother as a Christmas gift so she could have a lot of pictures of my brother and I in one frame.
