Good inexpensive PC
Pros: Cheap Price, Fast for the price, Lots of storage, Nice case, Decent video. XP!!
Cons: a LITTLE noisy, Had some bloatware,
Other Thoughts: I bought ram to go with it. Works very well as an office. accounting PC running Quickbooks, excel, etc..
Had it for about 6 months now. No Problems.

Decent
Pros: Decent machine. I bought it to just run FedEx Shipping software. Works good for that, but thats probably about it.

Good price, got XP, needs work.
Pros: Low price. Has XP Pro. Basic workhorse.
Cons: Initial setup takes a long time, requires several reboots, only to install junk you don't want. No physical restore/install discs.
Other Thoughts: Do not uninstall .net 2.0 before removing the Acer stuff. The uninstaller needs it.
I bought this and a VM460-UD4501P (similar, but with Core2 Duo) to compare side by side. The Intel box is faster, but for $100 less, I find this one to be a better value.

Well...
Pros: When I first got it it ran perfectly, even beautifully. It was fast, it was quiet, it was everything I wanted when I bought it.
Cons: Well as I type this right now I am getting ready to call Acer because it already isnt working properly. There seems to be some trouble with the motherboard, none of my USB's or PS2 ports are working, so it kinda makes it hard to use any kind of input device.
Other Thoughts: Well I dont think it would be a problem but as I looked inside of my tower I noticed that it only came with a 110 power supply. It seems like this could end up being a problem down the road if you plan on adding anything to it.

Acer Veriton
Pros: Very good deal. This computer will last into future. Looks to be well built. You could build one for about the same price...maybe...
Cons: It comes with everything preloaded, but without any install cd. So, I recommend getting an image software and making a backup for future use... You'd think with your own product key you'd get a copy.
Comes with unwanted preloaded software. Who uses all the acer ware? Takes 15 minutes or so to uninstall everything.
There is a partition made... I do not like having my drive split in half.
Other Thoughts: Bought 4 of these for business

Good machine for the money
Pros: fast processor, 2GB DDR XP Pro Ample HDD
Cons: Keyboard cable is too short 3ft. I modified my desk to
accomodate it. Still short. Probably will replace keyboard.
Otherwise it would be 5 egg
Other Thoughts: I use the computer for photos & home videos, little gaming.
Iadded a flash card reader & HD video card. Very happy so far. Fast service from Newegg too.

Good HW, Good Price, Terrible Windows Load
Pros: Price is good for the hardware on the device. Not a bad integrated chipset, and one I've never had problems with. Also I'm happy with the quality of the hardware in the device.
Cons: VERY small PSU. 250W max out, and not enough power cords to add more than one IDE device, and one additional SATA device. Also loaded with bloatware, and the Win XP install is a bad one. Recommend stripping the key, d/ling drivers, and performing a new, clean install. Also difficult to add additional HDDs in the dedicated bays.
Other Thoughts: HDD and DVD are SATA. I've traditionally liked Acer. tend to use decent hardware with a good life span and not terrible support. Unfortunately, when ordering through a redistributor, you can't ask Acer to leave off the bloatware.

excellent value
Pros: Excellent value for the money.Windows XP is getting hard to find setup on a new machine, this machine has XP! AMD dual core is fast, graphics are great, case is solid. I am very pleased with this desktop.
Cons: none yet
Other Thoughts: keep bringing us great deals Newegg!

A great computer for the price
Pros: This computer runs great and fast right out of the box. With 2GB of ram and no Vista to bog you down, this is a great machine for the price.
Cons: Junk acer software pre-installed. A simple uninstall of about 5 unnecessary programs solved it though. This is standard with any PC though.
