Rating + 4 Good, needs improvement

Pros: Good price, prepackaged Vista install (key and COA on side of machine so all you need is the media for a reinstall). Good, quality, hardware. Processor is solid.

Cons: Only 1GB of RAM. Vista, out of the box, will take up 70% of your memory running idle. Small cache on the processor. Onboard video.

Other Thoughts: This is a good computer to start out with. You will want to spend a little extra on 2GB of memory, a dvd-burner, and a video card if you want to do some serious computing. This is all very cheap at prices nowadays, so if you don't want to build a computer but still want the ability to upgrade, buy this machine.

Rating + 5 So far so good

Pros: Solid system, great value. Got the system up and running very easily. The kids love it.

Cons: Plugged in a westinghouse LCD and booted the system, but, after the POST, there was no display. Had to plug in a CRT to get through the first boot and then set the screen display for the LCD.

Had to remove Norton. I hate that bundle.

Rating + 5 Fantastic Deal

Pros: This is a great deal for the price. It has everything a basic PC should have. One of the very few that I saw that comes with a 3 year warranty in this category. And you actually get more hardware with this PC configuration including Vista in comparison to other Lenovo’s that include Windows XP. I think I can live with Vista for now until the Service Pack is out. Vista is not one of my favorites, but I will install Linux on this anyway.

Built and finish quality is definitely high and a plus. It’s also very quiet when operating. I would recommend this PC for basic needs: e-mail, web browsing, pictures, movies, and music. Not a gamer machine so don’t expect performance from that category. There is also, plenty of room for upgrading.

Cons: The only downside is the PC does not come with a DVD burner (it includes a CD burner/DVD reader). But what do you expect for under $400 bucks? So save yourself trip and order that DVD burner because you’ll eventually needed it.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely order another Lenovo (IBM) and of course as always, NewEgg does a great job delivering on time.

Rating + 4 Good Value

Pros: Satisfied with Lenovo product and Newegg.
I purchase 2 of these economy computer's and very satisfied. What I expected for the price.
Above average Tech support A++.
Above average warranty support A++.
Memory economical for this PC.
Tech support said unit has 3 year limited warranty(super deal!).
I added to each computer's additional 2gb 240-pin patriot memory(PC2 5300) & radeon hd 2600xt video card.
We had none of the expected problems with Vista however I am not a gamer just a basic PC user.
The Lenovo migration assistance software for transfering docs&setting from old XP PC to Vista PC worked perfectly for me.
Found everything I wanted to add to this PC right here at Newegg.

Cons: Economy computer case.
No recovery disk's(must purchase if needed)
No manual(download manual)
One of Two PC's purchased(DOA) had a bad system board with no system board video output(VGA), however the Lenovo/IBM tech support was above average in troubleshooting and they mailed me a replacement system board in 5 days.Worked out great!
This computer was slow with the provided symantec 3 month trial software,uninstall and install ESET(purchase at Newegg.)

Other Thoughts: Newegg got my orders to me on time as promised, thanks newegg.
Thanks Lenovo/IBM.
Overall Very Satisfied
