Pros: Outstanding picture! As sharp as any LCD TVs I have seen for more than twice the price. I bought this based on the other Newegg reviews and it didn't disappoint! I ordered it on Tuesday morning and took delivery on Thursday. Great efficient response.

Cons: Lack of HDMI ports, although it is not a problem with me. I purchased the TV already knowing it.

Other Thoughts: NEC makes great computer monitors and has carried this over successfully to LCD TV.

Other Thoughts: The picture quality deserves 10 stars(better than anything I have seen in stores), the speakers are the best I have heard on an affordable flat panel. I do wish I had known that DVI doesn't transmit sound. The lack of HDMI is crazy on a panel this current (released less than a year ago)I ordered a DVI-HDMI cable from newegg at a fraction of the cost of a BIG Box electronics store, but no sound, a little research showed that DVI doesn't transmit sound, I found a workaround, so all is good, may not work well for a novice. First TV came badly damaged, so I refused delivery, called Newegg with my disappointment, They made good and got me another delivered within 2 days, amazing customer service!!! Cable HD is amazing. I added an LG upconvert dvd player with amazing results compared to a regular dvd player with component. A little research revealed that this is a commercial quality panel. This TV will accept 1080i signals but not 1080p, and display them at 720p. Great TV

Pros: High Def is absolutely stunning with DirectTV. Would be a great monitor for a conference room. I like the look of the TV with the speakers attached below the monitor. I priced these thoroughly & there is not a better buy than this unit. See what it cost elsewhere right now.

Cons: I guess for this price HDMI is too much to expect.

Other Thoughts: TV for the bedroom that looks better than my big screen in the living room. This is the kind of HDTV that would have cost over 3 grand several years ago & now you can knock off 75%. Buy it!

Pros: Great TV for the money, support 720P/1080i HDTV programs and upconverted to its native resolution 768P, good sounding speakers..Very bright esp sitting next to my 50" Pioneer plasma.

Cons: The TV came in without the manual and with "issue" that NEC tech support decided to send me a replacement one, outstanding customer service who seriously stand behind their product. A little slow to react as far as changing channels probably due to its 9ms response time.. I'll use FEDEX next time.

Other Thoughts: Could have easily given a 5 stars rating if not for that half a foot horizontal line on the upper left corner of the screen that appears whenever the remote is used.

just to clear this up for the other users it does support 720p input and 1080i input, the native resolution does not control that, I have even used a PC and out of the 3 HDTV's I own this does the best of autosize to screens native. if you dont believe me call NEC

Other Thoughts: just to clear the air for the other two reviews, 480 720 and 1080 all are resolution measurements that measure the number of vertical pixels that the screen displays. the horizontal resolutions are 720 x 480, 1280 x 720, and 1920 x 1080. p and i stand for progressive and interlaced, interlaced meaning that every other pixel is illuminated, and progressive meaning that every single pixel is constantly illuminated. this tv clearly states in its specs that its resolution is 1366 x 768. so in actuality this tv doesnt support 720. it actualy supports 1366 x 768 natively.

Other Thoughts: Still a great set after a few months. Just to clear it up: It does supports 1080i over the air High Def Broadcast beautifuly. Xbox360 shows 1080i on some games.
So the poster below must be confused with 1080p resolution.
