Awsome TV once you have High def signal
Pros: Excellent picture quality with High-def signal. Upgraded to HD box from my local cable provider on the same day I got this TV in, and just fell in love with the high definition images.
Easy to setup
And ofcourse price
Cons: Standard definition images are just okay and not that great.
Remote control - not user friendly
Other Thoughts: Got it as a replacement of my 24" Samsung standard TV. Needless to say that I didn't regret my decision. Outstanding picture quality and easily beats other big names like Sony OR Samsung where you will have to pay atleast $300.00 more to get the same quality.
If you are not planning to upgrade to HD signal, just don't buy it. Standard definition signal on this TV is worse than the Std. def viewing on a Samsung.
I only wish that it came with a HDMI cable:-) And yeah Newegg is great site to buy. I got this product delivered in 2 days and I don't have to pay a penny for the speedy delivery. I was about to buy this from Costco which had the second best price, but still easily is about $150 more with tax.

Huge Popular
Pros: QAM a plus, seems fairly sturdy on the support stand. Picture of regular DVD's are fantastic, imo.
Cons: Speakers. Remote definately has a cheap feel to it.
Other Thoughts: The construction of the tv seems very solid, yet maintains a decent wieght.

Outstanding TV
Pros: Outstanding picture quality. Works great as a 1080p computer monitor running a desktop resolution of 1920x1080. It's a great companion to my FIOS TV service.
Cons: Only 2 HDMI ports, 3 would be nice or even a DVI port. I had to play with the settings a little to get the right picture quality, but that is a minor thing.
Other Thoughts: $550 cheaper than Best Buy and Circuit City. You can't go wrong with Newegg on this one.

Super Awsome
Pros: Sleek design, fantastic picture quality, 6ms response is great for games, good menu system, very bright and vibrant.
Built in speakers are perfectly acceptable in an average sized room for games and regular TV viewing.
Cons: Remote is a little touchy, and it feels cheap, also not great range, but who cares it's a remote.
Piano finish looks great for about 28sec until static from the screen draws all the dust in the room to it.
Our area doesn't have HD cable TV yet, so regular TV viewing is complete rubbish, but that is not the panels fault; the panels view modes help make this bearable though.
Other Thoughts: I bought this screen for playing PS3 games and Blurays on, screen is absolutely stunning at 1080p.
May want separate surround sound system for movies.
At the price point I wanted, this screen delivers 100%.

Gorgeous... just gorgeous
Pros: Color and clarity are astounding.
Cons: wasn't cheaper
Other Thoughts: I wish I had gone with Direct TV instead of sticking with Dish Network

Great TV after calibration
Pros: Price is great for this size and resolution. Has a decent layout in terms of ports. Menus are easy to navigate. Picture is nice once properly calibrated. Sound is fine for the TV.
Cons: Picture is sub par out of the box and needs a decent amount of tweaking (i.e. the back-light and brightness are set too high, there is evident "red push" in the picture where skin tones look sun burned, sharpness is way high). No DVI/VGA ports.
Other Thoughts: We use it as a bedroom set so if you are making this your home theater TV, you will want a receiver and speakers. To fix the picture out of the box, I suggest starting at the lowest or warmest picture and using a home theater calibration disc to get it as close as you can. You may also want to contact an ISF certified calibration tech to properly tweak the set.

1080p update
Pros: Superb picture quality, good amount of inputs, great color, nice looking case, 1080p, gaming Make great computer monitor
Cons: Could use another RF
Other Thoughts: I upgraded to a different video card recently and for some reason I can get it to work with full 1080p now, with my dvi to hdmi cord now at 60hz my old card was a ati x850 (I could only get 1080p at 30hz = not full hd) my new card is a nvidia 8800 GT I have to tell ya it looks great!

love it
Pros: The setup was easy, I was some what concerned about the comments of the sound being weak but I find the sound to be better than most tv's. the sharp tv is a very attractive addition to my new home
Cons: None
Other Thoughts: I was concerned about shipping such a large fragile item. there was not a scratch

Great TV
Pros: Amazing screen, good price, makes great computer monitor, 1080p nuff said!
Cons: Just a few things, I couldn't get it to accept 1080p at 60hz from my computer (1080p at 30hz did work though) via dvi to hdmi cord, I wish it had a second RF plug so I could have a air antenna hooked up also
Other Thoughts: I like 1360x768 best for standard pc use it fits perfect

Very nice
Pros: Nice size for replacing 27 inch TV. Great looking picture. Decent assortment of connection types.
Cons: Forget using an antenna for digital over the air with this TV unless you can manually direct the antenna to pick up the over air broadcasts at the exact moment the device is scanning (auto channel find) for that channel. I could not get it to accept inputs for digital channels whose signals I knew were available, so it would never pick them up. It either finds digital channels during the auto channel find or they might as well not exist. My only option was to to spin the antenna toward the various towers at the critical moment. I lost hours getting to the point where I understood this and executed it well enough to achieve all of the signals.
It would seem second nature to me that once a remote control user selects the TV's set up menu's that the device ought to change to "TV" mode, but it will happily let you get to the menu's then not allow you to use them if you've are still set up to run the cable box or DVD.
Other Thoughts: Newegg is great. This was the best price delivered I could find. It's no surprise that I buy nearly all of my electronics, PC and otherwise, from them.

Took the plunge...
Pros: Great TV, great picture, easy setup, easy CATV setup, beautiful design, plenty of outputs/inputs, lightweight, etc., etc...
Cons: No DVI input/output, base speakers are weak (although I doubt anyone plans on using them seriously), can you tell I'm reaching here???
Other Thoughts: Finally took the plunge into HDTV. I always like to wait for technology to mature (and get less expensive) before I adopt it, and HDTV was no different. I went into a retailer to compare picture quality on various HDTV's and the Sharp AQUOS line beats them all, with the exception of Sony's latest and greatest (although those all come at a huge premium; nearly twice the price I paid for this one on Newegg).

Great TV, awesome price.
Pros: Relatively quick shipping for such a huge item. Not a single dead pixel, everything is in perfect condition. 1080p on a sub-40" screen makes the picture fantastic, even up close. Jet black blacks and ivory whites, and after a little picture tweaking, this baby looks better than the 46" 1080p in my front room that I spent $2100 on 2 months ago. Sharp knows what they are doing with TVs. Get this if you are looking for a smaller sized 1080p. You will not regret it
Cons: Not one I can see yet.. I've only had it for a day, so if I run into any I'll update.
Other Thoughts: For $999 with free shipping (after discount and $100 off coupon), this is a total steal. Using it for my 360 and as a monitor for my new computer system (wow)

Great all around
Pros: I had my eye on this product for some time. I own a smaller Aquos and always found it superior to other brands. When I saw that New Egg was promoting the 37" model for the same price as other places were selling the 32" model, I jumped. The picture is as sharp as can be, the viewing range is pretty wide and everything has worked as it is supposed to.
Cons: The sound is not the greatest, although I have never had a TV with great sound.

Perfect!
Pros: Absolutely beautiful picture! HD looks amazing!
Cons: Shiny things. Why are most vendors putting shiny black trim on their products? I would prefer a gun-metal or flat black option.
Other Thoughts: 1080p @ 37" was my sweet spot. I had been holding out on the LCD purchase until these two criteria could be met. And on a Sharp AQUOS to boot! 100% happy and would recommend to anyone!

Great TV
Pros: Great Price. Picture is superb. Thin. Well packaged. 2 HDMI ports. Fast response rate (no ghosting). 1080P.
Cons: Sound is a bit weak.
Other Thoughts: The UPS guy was more excited to get this when I was! Note that Newegg requires you to check for damage upon delivery for TVS or you need to work with the manufacturer. I mentioned this to the UPS guy and he was more excited than I was- he helped me check the TV for damage. He was like a kid at Christmas opening the box! Anyhow, it was pristine and I love the TV.

Great value
Pros: Different picture modes are nice, Gaming, Movies, Custom. A lot of customization can be done on the picture so your movies will look perfect. Very good screen for gaming and for PC.
Cons: Only has 2 HDMI ports, wish it had a 3rd one.
Other Thoughts: 2 dead pixels on arrival, not bad at all considering the size and resolution of this LCD screen. Not noticeable at all. Turn down the backlight if you have it on your desk as a computer screen like I do, otherwise at default (max setting), it's like a heat lamp. Overall, one of the best bargain I found, it's relatively cheap for its size considering that it is 1080p and a brand-name manufacturer.

Awesome !
Pros: Excellent Picture. Great price from trusted NewEgg. I see nothing wrong with the TV after a few minor tweaks.
Cons: The audio is a bit weak, but overall nothing to worry about. A volume leveliner between channels would be nice, but again, very minor.
Other Thoughts: I went round and round for over a year on what to buy. After reading about these and seeing the 32" model, was very secure in my purchase, and still am.

Awesome
Pros: This TV is awesome. The picture is great especially with HD football games. I have a DirecTV box connected to it and it looks fantastic in HD. I also have my Xbox 360 hooked up to it and the games I have been playing look unreal. Halo 3 is great for the tv! Speakers are not as bad as the other people have said as well and I have had no problems with it whatsoever
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: great deal.

My First LCD TV
Pros: I have nothing to compare this to as far as ownership, previous TV was 27inch tube. So, even with comparison research and shopping, my overall rating could be somewhat slanted. Great picture. Better speakers than I expected. Easy setup. Good customization options in menu.
Cons: No included cords. Would've been nice if it came with SOMETHING (HDMI cord...even some RCAs lol) If that's my only negative, I'm in good shape.
Other Thoughts: I did need to immediately adjust dispaly settings lower. It comes with that 'Wow, look at me!!!' showroom type brightness. I live in a one bedroom apartment, so if you do too...and you are wondering about size...anything larger might look a little strange (i.e. Overkill).

Pros: I placed the order Monday evening and am watching the amazing quality Wednesday afternoon. Threw on an old pair of rabbit ears and the picture is fantastic. Will get cable HD box tomorrow.
Cons: I don't think this set has the auto turn on to wake me up. I like to wake up to the news to see if it's worth getting out of bed or not.
Other Thoughts: Never go to the local electronics store as the display will bobble your mind and they all look fantastic. Do your research on the net first then shop for price.Sharp has come a long way to number one.

Pros: I love it, i goot it foor my xbox 360 AND WOW... great color and picture and ive had no problems with it at all it works great.

Other Thoughts: if ur only gona wach tv sports on a hd tv u dont need more then a 720, (nasscare dont even work on it its 2 fast u have to swich it to 720...)but if u are gona playgames or have a hd dvd player its great!!

You can see the dimples on a golf ball in flight!
Pros: Okay, maybe that's a bit of an exageration, but not much. HD brings a whole new level to watching sports. The Aquos shows details never seen before, such as the filler under the artificial turf being kicked up, nearly every blade of grass on the field and more. With MLB playoffs about the start, following pitches will be like never before. For those who have commented that analog broadcasts don't look so great: it really depends on the source. I'm connected to Comcast and most of their analog channels look pretty good. Hi def channels just look so much better! The unit itself looks great, even when turned off. The inclusion of HDMI ports makes for far less cable clutter, and the stereo audio outputs make connecting to a home theater's sound system a breeze.
Cons: None really. Might use another HDMI port or a CableCard slot. The unit's sound is a little weak, but that's why I have it connected to a surround system - which was easy.
Other Thoughts: I looked at several models and read many reviews before making my choice. I'm not disappointed - with either the Aquos or newegg. My order was processed promptly and there was no upselling. (I actually placed this order with another vendor, then canceled due to unwanted sales pressure.) I've been very pleased - more than I might have expected.

Pros: 1080p on a screen that is under the 40" mark. I looked at these things for about a year before I got one. Sharp is one of the best I have found. It has plenty of inputs and a great picture.
Cons: The optical out does not work with HDMI only with cable or antenna. This is a problem if your not using a newer highend A/V Reciever with HDMI inputs and an HDMI monitor out. I would have liked a DVI in or a 3rd HDMI as I have an HTPC hooked to this TV along with an HD Cable Box and a PS3. Standard Definition TV programming doesn't look great but at the normal distance it is an acceptable quality.

A great high quality LCD TV
Pros: The picture on this TV is the best I have seen. It costs more than many but in this case you do get what you pay for - a great viewing experience.
Cons: I would have liked a straight DVI input.
Other Thoughts: I am very experienced with computers but not very knowledgeable with TVs except the electronics involved. Setting this TV up was easy and I was able to hook up all my old components (including an old TIVO) with no problem. It is the perfect size for my bedroom. I was very reluctant to order something this expensive, heavy, and bulky by mail order (almost went to B***B*y), but despite UPS and about eight holes in the box, it arrived in perfect condition and I save some cash on top of it all! It can be found cheaper, but the Egg is the safest place to buy anything like this on the net.

like it
Pros: A great size for video gaming and for watching TV in a moderately big room.I've got two other hd-1080I tvs but for some reason the sharp gives me much better aim and movement control in games
Cons: I wish it had acomputer type sound input connection adjacent to to the hdmi spot

Outstanding Device
Pros: I love the picture detail, the QAM decoding of my cable systems lower 120 hi-def channels (no need for a cable box), the user-friendly menus, and the ability to easily preprogram 16 of my favorite channels via the remote.
Cons: Because all controls are located on the top of the set using the remote is a must for high mount locations. Not an issue for me.
Other Thoughts: SD DVD's upconverted to 1080P are just beautiful on this set.

Best TV EVER!
Pros: This TV is just the best, I mean when I look at it everytime I just say wow. My PS3 and blu-ray disks look as pristine as my g'mas 4000$ S o n y Bravia TV. Upconvert DVD Players look great if you just want something amazing and cheap. The contrast and picture quality is the best. 1080P for the future. Plenty of audio and video ports for your pleasing. Black. Shiny, looks like a PS3. !
Cons: Amazing TV, No Cons. except maybe one more HDMI, but no Biggy right :) ?!
Other Thoughts: Amazing, just purely beautiful.

Excellent LCD TV
Pros: Fantastic HD picture, lots of inputs, beautiful cabinet, looks good in my armoire, no ghosting that I can tell, future compatibility with 1080p.
Cons: SD picture is pretty bad, I did change the output from my cable box from 480i to 480p and it did make a difference, I think a calibration will do wonders, I purchased a DVD and will try to calibrate it myself.
Other Thoughts: I will be getting FIOS TV service very soon and I think it will make a difference in the SD picture, FIOS is not compressed like regular cable service.

Great LCD TV
Pros: This TV has an absolutely gorgeous HD picture. I purchased this model when it became availble - about the third week in March '07. I couldn't be happier.
Cons: The analag picture is okay - I've seen worse, as well as better. I just run the analog signal though my Panasonic DVR and upconvert it to 1080i. When I do this the picture improves drastically, although it is still not quite up to the true HD picture quality. When you upconvert an analog signal, it also upconverts the "noise" within the signal.
Other Thoughts: HD and upconverted DVD picture quality is amazing. I have been very happy with this TV.

The Best
Pros: This is the best color TV .Before I bought this TV I compared them side by side at a high end TV dealer that adjust his set using a quality digital signal, unlike the big discount electronics dealers that don’t make any effort to adjust there TVs or provide any kind of a HDTV signal. The average price for this set was about $500.00 more than Newegg not including tax and delivery which was about $200.00 more. This has one of the best user friendly remotes that I have used. The number of inputs excellent.
Cons: I am unable to find fault with this set.
Other Thoughts: I can't comment on the sound or speakers because my sound goes through receiver. I would like to have a DVI input for my computer.

Great TV
Pros: Excellent detail, vivid picture, user-friendly menu, and a beautiful, accurate picture over all. I'm very happy with it so far. The Sharp Aquos line of lcd's does very well in reviews and I can see why. This lcd is one of very few 37" lcd tv's that can display and accept 1080p signals(1920x1080). The contrast ratio is 1700:1 (8500:1 dynamic)with a 6ms response time. This tv also has a 4-wavelength backlight system which adds to the picture quality.
Cons: The speakers are somewhat weak at 10 watts x 2, but that shouldn't be a problem if you're setting it up with a separate home theater audio system. Otherwise, they're passable if you're not an audiophile type. Also, the tv only has 2 component imputs so you may need to use the 2 included HDMI inputs which are just as good provided that your device can use them.
Other Thoughts: I've only owned this tv a week but I am continuously amazed by the picture quality. You should definitely calibrate the system with Digital Video Essentials or Avia or something similar, since the tv, like all others, comes factory preset to maximum brightness for that showroom floor oooh/ahhh factor. You should also use component or HDMI inputs for high definition devices in order to get the best possible picture which this tv displays beautifully.
