Awesome
Pros: Very clean picture, easily handles tons of devices, works very well as a computer monitor.
Cons: One or two bright pixels, fixable with a screen fixer like jscreenfix.
Other Thoughts: I would buy another if I had room.

Greatest HDTV I have ever known
Pros: Incredible picture quality. Pretty lightweight. Many, many inputs. Great looking design.
Cons: The bass seems to overpower the TV speakers so I highly recommend buying a 5.1 speakers for your TV, trust me you will thank me.
Other Thoughts: This TV is phenomenal, the picture is incredible, it looks great and it's not that heavy. I have my PS3, X-box 360 and Wii all connected to this TV and it's so simple to switch in between them. I also used it as a computer monitor and Oh MY G*D! Counterstrike on a 1920x1080 resolution is insane! Probably the best TV I have ever owned. I also suggest getting 5.1 speakers for this TV because the TV has a problem with bass. It tends to overpower the speakers, so get what I got, Logitech 5.1 Z-5500 speakers=Amazing.

32" Sharp LCD GREAT PRODUCT
Pros: Purchased through newegg with free shipping and recieved product ahead of schedule, newegg also had the cheapest price by at least $40 compared with other online sites. 1080p looks fantastic as a computer monitor even when youre only 3-4 feet away, I have it connected to xbox360(1080p Component), computer(1080p DVI-HDMI). Both look excellent, HD tv through component even in 1080i and 720p broadcasts still shows a much nicer picture over SD TV. There is also no noticable video game lag for my xbox360 even on the rear non-vyper drive inputs
Cons: I wish it had another set of additional component video inputs on the back of the TV as opposed to the vyper drive set on the side since this causes the cables to stick way out, all the more reason to upgrade to HDMI cables.
Other Thoughts: Only found one dead pixel so far (stuck green) in the left center of the screen, I will tell you though that Unless you set the entire screen to a black backround and get within 1 foot of the tv youre never going to notice or find any stuck pixels because with a 32" set with 1080p resolution the pixels are extremely small

Excellent Television and Computer Monitor
Pros: I will start off with stating that video games, look simply amazing on it. Full 1080p when playing games on my Mac with it just look stunning. The Wii looks great with some sharpness tweaking (using component cables and 480p). PS2 games also look very good on it but show their age, even with component cables (really comes down to the game though, GT4 looked great).
As a TV it is fantastic. Got my HD cable box and all the HD channels look excellent on it, any problems are purely the cable companies side and channels. Lower bitrates etc. Playing DVDs on it with my Mac still at 1080p looks excellent. Effectively worked as an upscaler to 1080p and it was just an excellent image from just a DVD. Looked better than most HD TV channels.
It works well as a general use desktop monitor as well, I wouldn't suggest going any larger than 32 inch for 1080p though, pixels start looking huge after that.
The wide assortment of inputs is very nice as well and the menu system isn't a pain to use
Cons: Slight red and blue push, making red and blue text hard to read on certain background colors (I wonder though if this is in part the fault of the dynamic contrast pushing colors to be more intense). You can't totally disable the dynamic contrast but you can dumb it down to a point that it isn't annoying for desktop computer use. I'm not 100% sure but the pixel layout isn't a grid, so straight lines look kinda jagged if they're horizontal or vertical.
Other Thoughts: The cons, for me anyway, are very negligable. If you need a perfectly color accurate TV/Monitor combo, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Otherwise, I highly recommend this TV for gaming, movies, tv and general desktop use.

Wow!
Pros: The picture is incredible! I have used this with the Playstation 3 and as a computer monitor and it has excelled at everything so far. There is more than enough inputs for me to use and almost everything can be adjusted in the settings. Doesn't hurt that the TV itself looks fantastic either.
Cons: I wish the TV could tilt or swivel, but the viewing angle is great and this hasn't been an issue so far (although it could be in the future). Of course the speakers are pretty weak as well but what did you expect from television speakers?
Other Thoughts: Some people have found this TV to have a slight bit of red push but this can be counter-acted by changing the color temperature in the settings.

Good but not perfect
Pros: Plenty of video inputs, great picture, film mode for interlaced film content, 1080P OVER COMPONENT, plenty of picture options. Remote with plenty of buttons for usability. Ability to select different AV Modes from button on remote. Very little/no ghosting that is apparent to me. Fake surround isn't too bad, although I rarely used it. No overscan mode for HD modes.
Cons: Reds bleed when you turn the backlight down, DVI-I input can't display 1080p from VGA sources, which is quite annoying. For example, the 360 won't work with 1080p over VGA, and I can't do 1080p from my lpatop, although I think that's also partially the laptop's fault.
The TV could use another component input or two. Would be nice if the zoom display mode would display 4:3 letterbox content without overscanning the picture at all. Would be nice to have a 'no overscan' mode for 480p.
Other Thoughts: I like the TV, it's just minor issues that I have with it that keep it from being a 5/5 for me. A few stuck pixels developed after a month or two, but they're not really noticable unless it's a really dark scene or I'm up really close to the TV. They're actually really just stuck subpixels, most of them, and on a display of 2 million pixels, 8 stuck pixels that I tend to forget about don't really annoy me that much. I wish they weren't there...but I don't want to send the TV off, either. Oh well, I guess it's the risk you run with LCDs.

Pros: I bought this thing to use a computer monitor and it does a very good job. The colors, especially flesh tones are right on, after I got the Vyper drive working. That entailed an HMDI adapter on the side to convert my DVI cable. I had it hooked up initially DVI to DVI and was struggling to get the colors and resolution right and mostly failed. Once I got the adapter and plugged it into the side port for the game mode, presto it worked like I had hoped with the preprogramed settings. I have DVI to HDMI cord on order to fix the giant kludge sticking out the side. I've only played FEAR on it so far and it rivals my 24 inch ultrafine dell only with a lot more real estate, (nearly double the sq. inches). The game is more playable with everything bigger.
Cons: Doesn't tilt or swivel. I hadn't thought about that before I bought it but then it is a TV and not many TV's do those things. I have it on a coffee table that makes it the right height and with the 178 degree viewing angles it hasn't been a problem.
Other Thoughts: I haven't figured out yet how to make the max resolution fit completely on the screen or even if it's possible. I'm running an ASUS 8800gt at a custom rez of 1800x1000 to get my desktop to fill the screen. Overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a 32 inch LCD. HD looks like its painted on even up close, 3 feet, better I think than my HD plasma from a normal veiwing distance.

Dead after three months.
Pros: The TV works fine as a monitor. Linux displays fine using an HDMI input
Cons: Had it for three months and now it won't turn on. Power light blinks an error code. Linux display is offset using the DVI input. Sharp tech support was useless, as expected, but don't even make an effort.
Other Thoughts: Next time I'll go with another brand.

Does not seem to offer Picture In Picture
Pros: Bright picture, easy to set up, looks like a quality unit.
Cons: Does not seem to offer Picture In Picture. This is a TV and a computer monitor, and I wanted to play TV while I am computing using PIP. This is not possible. Also, unless you have a great graphics card and digital HDTV, the picture quality will not look very good. Analog TV looks bad on it (I suspect that is true with most HDTV's, though).

Whats with electronics these days
Pros: This TV was to replace another Sharp I've had no problems with in 6 years. I'm in the military and I move around quite a bit, so I'd prefer things to be a bit rugged. The old Sharp has travelled across the US twice in the back of my truck and works perfectly, the only proof of it's rough life are some scratches, one of which is on the screen. The new one had no such luck. I'm hoping the new one was just a lemon, but given my experiences with electronics in the last 2 weeks it's probably not. I bought the PS3 3 days prior and it stopped reading discs within 4 hours.
The picture aside from the giant wedge of dead pixels looked good and the PS3 looked awesome where you could see it. Sharp was willing to send "local" repairmen from about 2 hours north of here down to fix the TV. However that would of been more hassle than sending it back for replacement, or so I thought, thanks to the guys in brown (more on them later) I've had no problem with Newegg, just the TV and delivery company.
Cons: This new Sharp arrived with a wedge of dead pixels across the screen running from right to left. I've sent it back for replacement by Newegg, which I'm sure will go smoothly once UPS finds the package. The "local" repair shop is about 90 miles away, and the size and cost of your TV dictate wrether or not they are willing to come to you. In the case of this TV they would have come down, but it would of been basically to look at and diagnose it, then they would have to request the parts from Sharp, and come back again to install them, if that didn't fix it they would have to request a return for the item. After finding out all of this I decided it would be easier just to return it to Newegg for replacement. Then they lost my package.
Other Thoughts: I wish there was some option of choosing a different shipping company. The brown truck has tracked my package as an arrival scan in Cerritos, CA on the 17th, and 18th of this month, then the 19th it said adverse weather delay. When I looked at the weather for Cerritos it was 90 and sunny so I called the guys in brown and found out the package was in Illinois, today on the 20th it says arrival scan again for Cerritos, and their customer service says Newegg will have it by the close of business on the 20th, which they didn't. Shocking I'm sure. 5 out of the last 6 things I've sent or received have been lost/damaged/stolen by the shipping comanies. 2 things have never made it here, an envelope showed up cut open, they have no idea where this TV is at, and they wadded up one of those cardboard envelopes full of pictures to fit it in the apartment box.

I love it!
Pros: Beautiful picture for my xbox 360 with HDMI and my PC through DVI. Soon to add a HD TiVo through HDMI. Takes up alot less room than my old 27" samsung Tube tv.
Cons: I don't like the placement of the HDMI port that is designated as the Game port. Its on the side of the TV so it sticks out. It was a tight fit in my entertainment center as it is so I could barely get the HDMI cable plugged in. Plus, I've always preferred hidden wires, looks much cleaner. Very minor complaint though, I would recommend it to anyone.
Other Thoughts: This is my first LCD tv, my first 1080p tv. I am no HDTV expert, and I don't really know what the red push that I read people complaining about, but the picture looks perfect to me.

Pros: Beautiful picture for both my Xbox 360 through HDMI and my PC through DVI. Takes up a lot let space then my old 27" tube TV.
Cons: I do not like the placement of the HDMI port that is designated as the game port. Its is on the side of the TV. The TV was a tight fit in my entertainment center anyway, and I am barely able to plug in the HDMI cable to the port. Plus, I don't think it looks good. I've always been one for hidden wires. This is a very minor complaint, I would recommend this TV to others.
Other Thoughts: This is my first LCD tv and my first true HDTV (I had a Samsung 27" tube tv that was suppose to be 1080i, but the picture was no where near as good). I am not an expert on TVs, so when I read the other reviews about red push and stuff, I don't really know what that is, but the picture looks perfect to me.

The perfect TV
Pros: This is an amazing TV. At 32" you can still enjoy watching standard def without it looking distorted and pixelated. The high def looks great. My PS3 has never looked crisper and Blu-ray movies look perfect. The game mode must work because I have no problems playing games. Plenty of ports and lots of settings to tweak the TV to perfection.
Cons: To use the "Viper" game mode you have to use the HDMI or component ports on the side of the TV, so they stick out. My TV also came with 3 dead pixels- but you can not see them from more than a foot away.
Other Thoughts: 1080p in a 32" TV is amazing. Some reviews say you can't tell it has the extra resolution, but you can. I have a small living room, sitting about 7 feet away and this TV makes everything look great.

Great T.V
Pros: Great Picture. i had my doubts b/c it was a cheap 1080p 32" t.v , but WOW! the t.v is easy to work with i use it as a Monitor and to play movies and it run wonderful i will never go back to SDTV. and lets make this clear there is a big difference between 1080p and 720p on a 32"
Cons: the red text comes out a little bleached
Other Thoughts: Great buy

Good but it has stuck pixels.
Pros: It lives up to the description for the most part. And that's why I bought it in the first place.
Cons: It has 6 stuck pixels. 3 light ones and 3 dark ones. It's not really a problem unless your up close and you have a solid black screen. But for a brand name like Sharp, you would think that there would be better quality than that.
Other Thoughts: Stuck pixels aside, I like this tv.

OK TV, but not a great monitor
Pros: Good sensitive ATSC tuner
Cons: Not a very good 1920/1080p monitor. DVI is apparently limited to analog resolution...even when set to digital input. Using HDMI set at dot-for-dot, you get the 1920/1080 display you'd expect. Black text on while background fine, but colored text bleeds...so not all that good compared to other less expensive HDTVs ( using the same PC )...but 32" limits the field for 1080p.
Other Thoughts: If it can't display a good digital 1080p signal from a PC, is it really giving you a good HD picture ? ...not so easy to say.

TV and then some...
Pros: Awesome picture, dynamic contrast works well playing DVDs and video games. Sleek and fashionable backed up by splendid function.
Cons: The flip cover on the remote seems unnecessary. The Game inputs (1 HDMI, 1 Component HD) are on the very edge of the cabinet and as a result the cables protrude when connected.
Other Thoughts: Buy this TV, great deal, great customer service, and the ability to watch hockey in HD!

LC32GP1U
Pros: 32" at 1080P!! As others have pointed out, there are very few TVs in 32" that have full 1080P output, and at least in America, Sharp makes all of them. I currently use this monitor as my PC monitor, and it does a great job. I can lounge back in my chair, and be able to read everything at full output, so I don't have to do the "nerd" lean-in to read text. Note, this monitor DOES output at 1920x1080 when hooked up to my PC graphics card via DVI, regardless of what another reviewer said. I get no lag in 1080p video or games, and there is no "tearing" during fast motion, which I have noticed on other LCD screens before
Cons: The monitor has a bit of red push, as in, red text appears a little bit fuzzy when it is on a dark background. The TV also changes contrast a little by itself automatically when going between dark and light colored images, but you can significantly reduce this effect (to the point where you can't even notice it anymore, even if you look hard) if you set up the monitor correctly.
Other Thoughts: I have read a lot of reviews online that say that 1080P is useless and unnecessary at this screen size (32"), but let me tell you, there is a HUGE difference. I can tell the difference quite easily between 720P and 1080P at about 5 feet, but at 10-12 feet, it is hard to notice a difference between the two.
It's a shame that the standard out-of-the-box settings are not so great on this TV. If you spend the time to calibrate all of the brightness, color, contrast, etc settings, you will have a great looking monitor. I used to use a 22" monitor, but after using this HDTV for 6 months, I'm never going back to using a small screen.

Excellent Television
Pros: 32" 1080p. There are very few -full- HD TVs available at this size. This is one of them. Picture is amazing, brightness settings do need some work right out of the box, though. DVI input is perfect. Contrary to what a previous reviewer said, as long as your computer can handle it, this TV will display full 1920x1080 resolution via the DVI input and "Dot by Dot" view mode ensures that text is clear and concise from your computer. Multiple (3x) HDMI inputs make this a perfect gaming screen for all of your consoles or 1080p media.
Cons: This TV is amazing, but I'm very disappointed in SHARP for one reason. Audio is NOT output via the Digital Optical port when using an HDMI video input. SHARP technical support gave me very pathetic "sometimes-it-works-sometimes-it-doesn't" answers and mentioned compatibility problems. Compatibiliy? Digital in, digital out... oh well. Major downside. For the money I paid for this set, it saddens me that my two-year-old CRT HDTV can do something that this set cannot. I have to shell out extra money to ensure that all of my components can transmit digital audio directly to my 5.1 receiver. While it's not a lot, it just serves to add to the mess of cables behind my entertainment center.
Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, this will be my last "Bulk" purchase from Newegg. UPS driver tried to leave this box on my front door without a signature. If Newegg will not accept returns on defective bulk items, and delivery drivers don't need signatures, what recourse do we have if the items don't work? Newegg customer service states that signatures for delivery via UPS or FedEx are "At the driver's discretion." Sorry, I don't much like the idea of risking thousands of my dollars on getting a lazy driver to deliver my packages.

Could be better
Pros: Outstanding video on 1080i sources with consistent contrast video, such as football.
Size is great for tabletop.
Cons: 1) Seemed to be unable to handle high contrast situations. Example: Upscaling DVD (HDMI input) had man's face in foreground against strong backlight. The Sharp darkened his face to the point where I could not make out the features. I compared this against my 15 year old 36" Toshiba SD (s-viedo in) and the picture on the Toshiba was better, I could see his face as clearly as the background. 2) Speakers are really awful. You really cannot use them unless you plan on having a quiet place. The volume never gets loud enough. 3) DVI input only goes to 1366x768, per the manual. I did NOT try it, but if you intend to use this input, verify this will work for you!!
Other Thoughts: Not a lot of granularity of controls. If you watch sports mostly, you should be happy, but high contrast range material, may be a challenge. I ended up returning it and buying a bigger Sony XBR4 series. I really wish it had been acceptable to me, as there's a nice place in my office for a 32" LCD waiting to be filled.

Simply stunning
Pros: Lots of inputs... Xbox 360 looks amazing on HDMI. Arrived in great condition, no dead pixels. This is my first HDTV and I use it in a bedroom, so it's a perfect size and performs as advertised. I had some qualms about spending a huge chunk of change on a TV, but this TV is definitely worth it.
Cons: The piano black finish is a bit difficult to keep completely spotless, but it is not a huge issue to me. The speakers are definitely substandard, but I have it placed in a small room to mitigate that.
Other Thoughts: I bought a CRT HDTV of similar size at first from a local retailer, and purchased this from Newegg after being wholly unimpressed by the CRT. This TV however looks great.

Durn Bstbuy
Pros: Best TV for use as a PC monitor IMO, since it is only 1 of 3 32" tvs that go to 1080p. have my PC and PS3 both connected to it, displays 1080p for both flawlessly. everything is beautiful on this TV. Speakers are awesome as well, with the volume just at 20 it can be heard thru the whole apartment.
Cons: Bought it from bstbuy for 1400, dang :(. also, at standard 'sharpness' setting of 0, got ghosting from HDMI connection (would have some sort of afterimage with everything). set to -4 and displays perfectly. Wish it had a headphone jack too, but not too saddened by that. Wow, as I wrote this, noticed A dead pixel, but i dont care about it, since it took me this long to notice.
Other Thoughts: only Toshiba and Sharp make 1080p tvs below 40". my friends are jealous of my display power! Right now this is the best TV i have to play PS3 on, but once i get enough, i will be buying a 52" Sony XBR4 for Gaming purposes.

Great Buy
Pros: Great Buy. $200 cheaper than retail store. PC & HDTV look great, fast shipping, easily mount to wall
Cons: I think i now have to buy a new video card that has HDMI output and more than 128MG
Other Thoughts: Speakers don't seem and loud as the Samsung 32" i have right next to it

Pros: Looks wonderful in the bedroom or family room. Crisp display and good rescaling. HD content really shines.
Cons: Stand is large, causing unit to be placed deeper than I would like in our (traditional) entertainment center. Dynamic backlight adjust is noticable between scenes. Refresh rate is somewhat slow although there have only been a small number of scenes where this is noticable.
Other Thoughts: I was very worried about stuck pixels but after seeing how SMALL the pixels are on a 1080p 32in display, I realized you couldn't see a typical stuck pixel from more than 1 foot away. Good thing I didn't want for a 32in OLED-based display...

Nice Television
Pros: Great picture, rich blacks, PS3 looks unbelievable through HDMI hookup. The overall design and functionality are really wonderful. Can't beat the price for the most up to date technology.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: We have a small living room so the our options were limited to LCDs because Plasmas seem ridiculously priced and it's hard to find one under 42 inches. I was worried about losing contrast, but this picture seems as good or better than most plasmas. No annoying glare from the glass either. Lots of hookups and like I said good price.

Sweet
Pros: Excellent picture
Cons: Heavy
Other Thoughts: Hooked up to my digital cable, with no HD package yet, and picked up numerous HD channels, watching PBS HD nature/outdoorsy type scenes is amazing, all my tube tv's are going to Goodwill.

Excelent buy, I highly recommend!
Pros: Lots of inputs. Performs as advertised, quick response and excelent image quality.
Cons: No PIP
Other Thoughts: Bought this initially to test out and see if it would be a good Mac Pro monitor. It has met all expectations and then some. Just connect a DVI to HDMI cable and away you go. For the first couple of weeks I had it in the family room as a TV and XBox monitor to do all testing there before I commited it to my control room as a monitor. Again it performed better then expected. I like this monitor so much I'm planning to purchase another 32" for same purpose and a 37" for the family room. By profession I sit in front of a monitor for 8 to 12 hours a day. While I'm not a professional video editor, I work for a media company and did plenty of homework before purchasing this monitor.

AMAZING!
Pros: I only use this as a gaming monitor and it is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. I absolutely love it. The large size and clear picture make gaming very immersive. I don't have just a gaming system anymore...I have a gaming theater.
Cons: Be sure you download your latest video card drivers so it will recognize the 1080p resolution or you will have to reset it every time for PC use. I have one dead pixel but I never even notice it.
Other Thoughts: I don't know how it works as a TV but this is the best monitor I have ever owned.

Best 32" Bar None
Pros: I picked up this unit at an auction for a severe discount on a fluke, but I was otherwise going to order it from NewEgg! It's a great display for the buck. 1920x1080p is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Feeding it the Soprano's from my DirecTV HD DVR was absolutley jaw droppingly beautiful. I have a few other sets, like a Samsung 30" HD CRT that does 1080i, and a Samsung DLP, and by far the Sharp is better than both of them. In both the color, and contrast department. The brightness on the unit is also exceptional. I have it mounted in an armoire in my bedroom along with some HT equipment and a HTPC and it fits perfectly. The low profile speakers are nice since I do not use them at all.
The pixel response is nice, but I think the vyper-drive is just a gimick for the side inputs. Basically I think it's just a low-latency scaler, so when you plugin your 480p Wii, it doesn't lag. Most scalers are slow, read 2-5ms slow, so you get an annoying input lag. There is no input lag to speak of.
Cons: Well, like all LCD's it never gets totally BLACK. But it gets really darn close for an LCD. It's as good as the high end Sony XBR's from last year (although sony seems to have departed the high end 32" lcd realm to take on more lucrative 42+ sets).
Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a high end 32", look no further. Especially if you play Wii, or older game systems that don't output 1080p native like my Xbox 360. You can use a VGA -> DVI converter like you get with your video cards to direct drive this display with the Xbox 360 VGA cable which is a SERIOUS PLUS. Or, you can drive it with a direct DVI from your dual link capable 1920x10980p video card. I have an hdmi video card in my HTPC so it's perfect. You can't complain about 3 hdmi + 1 dvi either. I have 1 DirecTV DVR, 1 HTPC, XBox 360 on the DVI via VGA, and an HDMI left over for that blu-ray player when sony ever gets around to releasing it's <500 dollar model.

Full 1080p in a non-gigantic package
Pros: No dead pixels, banding, etc. that I've been able to notice. The speakers (especially with surround mode on) seem plenty powerful for my needs.
I'm so glad to finally find a TV that'll fit in my small living room while supporting full 1080p for my Xbox 360 and high-def TV.
Cons: This is mostly a pro... the wide range of settings allow for lots of fiddly customization, but it can get old to have to set things for each input.
As has been mentioned elsewhere, the piano black finish attracts dust like nobody's business.

LC-32GP1U looks like a winner to me
Pros: Looks good to this ex-broadcast TV guy! All of the "big TV" features, including 1080p, in a package that I can still carry with relative ease. Each input has it's own independent video settings which are retained even if the set is unplugged. Even my lowly Playstation 2 (via component video) and Apple iBook (VGA, via the DVI-I connector) look pretty good, but it begs for a newer notebook that can utilize the full 1600x1200 resolution that the set if capable of. I saw no issues with large white areas once I had adjusted video settings to my liking.
The onboard speakers are much better than expected: My room is small, and I listen at moderate levels, and I'm thinking I won't be needing any additional speakers or amplification at all, save for maybe a subwoofer, which can be connected directly to the TV.
Cons: Though visually striking, the piano black finish can be a dust magnet. If it also sucks pollen out of the air, maybe I'll have to relist this "feature" as a Pro.
Menu:Picture:Advanced:Black seems to be on by default, but to me, it's just distracting and should be turned off as it changes the black level each time the scene changes. Much better to set this manually and forget it.
As with other TVs I've used, default video settings are typically harsh, overly contrasty, have inky blacks, garish colors and too much phony sharpening applied. If you want to see what your $1500 TV can really do, spend a little time learning the proper way to adjust video settings--there are instructional DVDs and online tutorials available.
Other Thoughts: I did plenty of research before buying, even checked out sets while traveling in Japan. I have no regrets with this purchase.
Dead pixels: I did find a couple, but man, they're hard to see and IMO, irrelevant (dust on the screen is more visible). Every LCD maker in the world allows a certain number of dead pixels, no exceptions.

Very Satisified
Pros: Simply, I think this is a fantastic 32" 1080p LCD TV - the colors are bright and the blacks are black. My rationale for wanting this particular model was the 1080p, DVI connector and 3 HDMI inputs.
I primarily use the Sharp as an office TV - watching Comcast HD and SD programming via QAM. So far I have been very satisfied.
Cons: The remote is the standard Sharp remote, which is not bad, but as people mention a couple of the important buttons are hidden underneath a flap - which is especially annoying during the first week or so when you are initially setting up (playing) with the TV...
Some on AVS Forums and Hard Forum have reported issues with their units in regards to excessive red push, banding and pixel issues - so it might be a good read as well.
No CableCard support...
Sharp, like many manufacturers, does not expose all of the adjustments in the user menus. For instance, User Mode mode with the same settings as Movie mode does not produce the same results. That can be frustrating.
Other Thoughts: This isn't specific to Newegg per se, but I have to say while this LCD/TV is not the most expensive item I have ever ordered online, with the return policy (read: none) it scared the hell out of me. I honestly feel lucky that I received a good unit with no dead pixels and no banding issues that I can see. I wish Sharp along with other vendors would work with the online retailers more to provide a better purchasing environment. If this model was available in retail stores, I may have been tempted to pay more just for the piece of mind.

Arrived with 12 dead pixels
Pros: Games look great on this screen. Web browsing is acceptable. Great Design! Bright Backlight able to go to 1920 x 1080 with DVI connection on the monitor
Cons: Saturation is bad when a white background is brought up. Mine Arrived with 12 dead pixels! Hopefully Sharp will sort this out.
Other Thoughts: It's a great lcd tv/monitor combo, I just wish it didn't arrive with so many dead/stuck pixels upon delivery.

Serious flaw
Pros: Errr, it looks nice.
Cons: The color saturation settings do not stick, this is also a problem with the non gaming model of the LCD, so it is not a new problem. Anytime you have a large amount of white on the screen it oversaturates the colors on the rest of the screen. This also sems to have the effect if overiding the custom color saturation levels and they need to be reset back to your settings.

Warning!
Pros: Looks Great, 1080p resolution is perfect on the pc,Good inputs. The new engine to reduce gaming lag seems to work fine on older consoles.
Cons: Sharp's Quality control is down big time, the set arrived with 3 dead pixels. Some banding is present on some HD Feeds.
Other Thoughts: Newegg service is always great. Dealing with Sharp for warranty purposes sometimes is a hassle.
