Awesome TV
Pros: Screen size, price, 1080p, 120 hertz feature, widgets, LAN, media options [mp3 and pictures], many HDMI ports I LOVE this TV, picture quality is much richer than more expensive Bravia and Pioneer Elites I researched [at least to me]
Cons: Speakers - hope you have a decent receiver because the speakers are pretty much a FAIL, not too many 'fine tuning' options, no adding widgets, remote is fugly [get the HarmonyONE if possible]
Other Thoughts: I've had my Sammy Sung for nearly a year and it just died via the dreaded 'Power Cycle' issue. I had updated the firmware prior to the issue but I still got hit. LUCKILY for me I bought the TV 7/21/08 right here on newegg. Word of caution though, be sure to register it on Samsungs website to get he additional 90 days of warranty outside of the general year. Also keep your firmware updated....too many stories of Sammy's crapping out due to poor hardware [i.e. shotty PSU boards] I was extremely lucky to get hit with the issue 20 days before my warr ran out...

On/Off Cycle of Death
Pros: Beautiful form factor, phenomenal picture
Cons: After 8 months of ownership, the TV will no longer turn on without going into a reboot cycle that can take up to an hour before it will stay on. They have a firmware update that was supposed to address the issue, but the problem still persisted for me (and many others) after doing the update.
Other Thoughts: I reviewed this TV quite positively after my initial purchase. However, the power on/off issue described above has led me to revise my initial review. Unfortunately - this is not a random occurrence, as there is a 9 page thread on the CNET Samsung forum that has other customers reporting the exact same issue with this TV and similar models from Samsung. It appears that a batch of their TVs shipped out with bad circuit boards or something - as the fix appears to be having a tech replace the entire mainboard. I am now waiting for a samsung tech to get back to me, but the TV is currently unusable.

Nice TV
Pros: The TV is definitely nice. Great picture, touch controls on the actual television. For the borderline size on going LCD vs. Plasma, I don't think you can go wrong here. I tried to do as much research on which TV to get, and felt I got the most from this product. I haven't have any problems with Samsung and have been happy with the products.
Cons: I am not too sure on the whole thought behind the screws that attach the pedestal to the tv, but basically either you lay the TV down or mount in the wall and then take it off since you have to go from underneath to unscrew them. So if you have kids, pets, crazy significiant others- you might want to lock them up before trying to mount it up.
Other Thoughts: I bought this through newegg. I didn't have any problems with shipping.
When you go to verify/update or even register your television- make sure you write down the full model number. Apparently there are like 5-10 different versions of the 650A which all look the same.
One thing I do question myself though is, did I really need 120mhz, which can mean a huge price savings for the next person. If you do consider this model, which I would- I would just make sure that 120mhz is something you will enjoy or consider trying out an older samsung model (even going to a local retail outlet store to see first hand the differences and if practical before ordering online).

great tv, but i got a dud
Pros: great picture, easy navigation, easy to configure
Cons: it worked fine for a couple of weeks then got a short on a line of pixels, had that fixed and then it got a shadow over half the screen until it 'warmed up' which was an unpredictable amount of time, had that fixed and then it started turning on and off uncontrollably. samsung had agreed to replace the entire unit at this point so we're without a main tv for a couple of weeks. as mentioned on previous posts the remote is pretty chinsy and rattles .

I absolutely LOVE this TV
Pros: I don't know where to start....attractive housing, beautiful picture, even standard def tv looks better, there are simply too many pros to list....
Cons: Uhh, I'm really having a hard time knit picking something about this TV to use as a Con.
Other Thoughts: I find myself spending a lot more time on Discovery and similar channels because the picture is so much more crisp and clear than other TVs I've had whether HD or SD. I can't wait until my HD dish tv is installed so I can be wowed all over again.

WOW your Friends TV
Pros: Everything, I wired it to my laptop with great results no playing around with settings. The picture on the new Samsung TOC is simply amazing. This is my first LCD HD TV and I have no regrets. I made my decision when I saw it next to a comparable Samsung Plasma TV!
Cons: None Yet!

Unbelievable LCD - BEST BUY!
Pros: Easy to set up! Great Picture! I don't have HD Cable, but a few channels are offered in HD and the picture is unreal. I just turned it on, and it scans the channels automatically. For the money this is a GREAT BUY!
Cons: Nothing Yet!

Great 120Hz LCD!
Pros: Great TV, Clear picture on 1080i, Awesome hooked to a SAMSUNG 2550 Blu-Ray Player. Got the demo disc from Best Buy, awesome!! Tons of inputs too. I didn't buy this from Newegg, it was cheaper on another site. Menu is nice and easy to use. I purchased this for a client and they are more than pleased!
Cons: None really.
Other Thoughts: Wish it had been cheaper on Newegg. Working well on a 12ft HDMI Cable through a Yamaha 563 from a 4ft HDMI from the CBL and BlurRay

Best Purchase I made Last Year
Pros: I've had this TV for almost a year now and I've never been happier with my decision to purchase it. I bought it from "a local well known retail store" and I actually got it for a little bit cheaper then what is shown here on special. The only questions you should be asking yourself is what size ToC should I buy. Most people won't use all the features the ToC 750 offers. The TV itself transforms even every day TV to pure visual enjoyment. Watching a Blu Ray makes you feel like you're watching a play
Cons: The TV seems like it has dimmed a bit since my purchase and we do have very heavy usage. I had to change the backlight up one setting (not a deal breaker by any means). Not sure if this is a common problem or what. Again, some movies can look so real they might look like you are watching a play, this killed some of the novelty for some of my friends. Some movies that don't use top of the line effects can look extremely fake, but on the other hand animated features look amazing. Also, the 120hz novelty has worn off for me and my wife, it'll do that after awhile, you don't really notice it until you have someone come over and see it and remind you of how incredible it really is.
Other Thoughts: This is a good price nomatter where you are, but I wouldn't spend more then 1600 for the 650. The 750 has more features but most won't really use them. Couple this with a blu ray player for maximum *wow* factor and you won't be disappointed. Also, don't toy with the picture settings too much, the factory settings out of the box are optimized for fantastic picture. In other words don't hire some Retail Bes-Buy Guru to come setup your picture, you'll just be throwing your money down the drain.

Simply Amazing
Pros: The picture on the new samsung TOC is simply amazing. Plenty of inputs to hook all your entertainment needs up. Really impressed with the tv and neweggs service/shipping just adds to the great experience. Sound on the tv was also impressive, I haven't even hooked up any surround sound yet and i'm not that worried about it with the quality coming out of the tv it's self.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: You can pick up a USB dongle to send wireless to the tv via usb. Only downfall is the usb port is on the side of the tv and you will have the dongle sticking out all the time. This is a minor design flaw in my opinion but the tv works and looks amazing as advertised.

I <3 this TV/Monitor
Pros: Great TV/Monitor. PS3 Looks SWEET. HD TV LOOKS GREAT!! Blue Ray movies look great but the 120Hz is really hard to get used to esp if you are watching a movie with CGI and real people. The CGI looks really fake. I guess movies need to catch up to tech...
PS Full CGI Movies like Monsters Inc and Kung Fu Panda look alsmot 3D with high 120Hz enabled. Video games blow my mind.
Cons: I might be a little retarted but from what I see there are no controls on the TV its self. If the remote is lost then the TV is also :P
Other Thoughts: This TV is not true 120Hz. It take a 60Hz signal and upscales (not sure of the Tech Term) to 120Hz. I only found this out after getting nVidia's 3D glasses and my TV is not compatable with it.

wow
Pros: i ordered this TV on a Saturday, since it was the weekend no progress was made until Monday, on Monday my payment was accepted and everything was done to prepare for shipping, Tuesday morning it shipped, Wednesday morning they called and said it would be there between 12 and 5, it arrived at 11:50, 10 mins ahead of schedule.....the box and the tv were in perfect condition, shipping was amazing as for the tv itself the picture is crystal clear, you wont find a tv with a better picture unless you want to pay over 2,500, no dead pixels, easy setup, some small adjustments (so it was to my liking, nothing big) and it was perfect, plenty of inputs for whatever you need, looks great and stylish, ligh for a 46inch tv i read a review were someone was complaining that you couldnt turn the tv on without the remote, this is false, the buttons are built into to finish of the tv so they dont pop out like normall, they are touch sensative and they are on the lower right hand corner of the tv
Cons: none so far, i have only had it for a few days so i will review again in about a month and see if everything is still perfect.....the only complaint that i can think i might have is neweggs dead pixel policy, that they will only return it if it has more than 8 dead pixels, if i am spending 1600 on a tv i dont want any dead pixels so if it has only 1 they should send you a new one some people said the remote was a con and it felt cheap and lagged........the remote feels fine to me, it doesnt feel cheap at all, it heavy and durable and feels like its made well...i have had no problems with a lag and the wheel on the remote works fine and is very convenient.....i dont see any problems with the remote
Other Thoughts: great service, great shipping, great product, great price......what else can you ask for i could go on and on about this tv but i wrote what i thought was most important, i hope this review helps make your decision about this tv

Great TV! Some room for improvement.
Pros: - Perfect, super-bright picture. Deep blacks. No dead-pixels. I have never seen a better TV picture before, it makes all other TVs seem small and dull. - I don't use the AMP mode. I found that it made movies look unnatural and blurry, but I hear it's great for sports. Without it however, movies look awesome! - Beautiful stand and casing. The glass and the touch of color really looks just right and make this TV become a sleek piece of furniture. - Perfect hookup to computer. I am using an iMac and have the TV hooked up as 2nd monitor through hdmi at full 1920x1080x60Hz. On the mac, make sure to "enable overscan" in the display settings for the TV, to get native resolution transfer. On the TV, use HDMI input 2, and rename it to use PC and game-mode, for the best (and most lag-free) picture. I used neweggs AMC 25 ft. 24awg Premium Gold Series 1080p rated HDMI/DVI Cable, in combination with the mac "dvi-mini to dvi" converter. Playing movies through VLC player works flawlessly!
Cons: While I love this TV, I gave it 4 stars because there is some room for improvement: - A very slight bit of backlight clouding is visible in the upper left/right corners, and upper center during almost completely dark scenes (e.g. when the end credits roll). It's not really a big issue when watching TV or movies, but it is visible in a dark room during very dark scenes. - Internal speakers are poor. My $50 PC speakers+sub sound significantly better (even my wife thought so immediately!). So when buying this TV, make sure to invest in some sort of adequate home theater system. - The remote itself looks well-made, but its use is very sluggish. There seems to exist some big latency between pushing its buttons and the TV reacting, making especially the use of its click-wheel very poor. - Poor channel management capabilities. I am using the internal tuner with comcast's cable. You cannot re-sort or label digital channels. It's got "favorites", but they're buggy, and it looses them someti
Other Thoughts: - It attracts and shows dust a lot. The cleaning cloth it comes with doesn't really pick up the dust, but merely moves it around on the screen. I found the standard swiffer dusters to work best for cleaning as they are actually charged to "suck-in'' the dust and they don't seem too scratchy to hurt the TV. - Delivery through AIT was *interesting*. Their tracking website is fairly uninformative, as it tells you if/when something happens, but not *where*. Eventually (after 4 days or so) the TV was marked as "at destination port" and didn't move for two days. After several phone calls through AIT, my call was forwarded to the local delivery company that AIT forwarded the TV to. Once I got a hold of them I was able to schedule delivery (really AIT or the local company were supposed *to call me*, to arrange delivery). Delivery turned out to be a single driver, I had to help him carry the huge TV out of the truck and up the apartment stairs. The box and TV was in very good condition however

Sweet TV
Pros: 1080P, 120Hz. Very clear picture. On the Stand, TV is very steady and secure. Great TV.
Cons: Minor Cons, TV has a 'boot up sound' it can be turned off, but until you turn it off, its quite loud. The power connector required some extra work. I had to secure it to the back with a cable tie, otherwise, it would come loose easily. I think this is due to a slightly lower quality power cable however.
Other Thoughts: Other than the annoying boot up jingle, and the low quality power cable, this TV ROCKS, I recommend it.
The TV isn't "heavy" but its shear size requires 2 people if you plan to put it in an ackward position, such as wall mounting, High tv stand, etc.

Absolutely Outstanding!!!
Pros: There is no better tv for the money with this picture quality on the market. Once again newegg delivers outstanding customer service at an outstanding price. Delivery was flawless and free! I did have a problem with the InfoLink LAN connection and Samsung is replacing the entire tv. Don't hesitate to buy this from newegg. It was 100 times better and easier than some of the morons I spoke with at the "Big Box" stores. Don't forget to get the wall mount and HDMI cable from newegg too. They will save you a lot of $$$$$.
Cons: InfoLink NIC not functioning. But Samsung corrected by swaping out the TV when the parts were back ordered.
Other Thoughts: No better deal out there with this picture quality. 1080p 120hz. What else could you ask for?

WOW!
Pros: There really isn't anything wrong with this TV! I've calibrated it and it looks spectacular... granted I upgraded from a slightly out of focus (for the past 2 years) rear projection 42" Samsung. But the picture is outstanding I am running 100% audio through my surround setup, so I can't comment on the TV speakers... but hey, they are TV speakers... how good can they really be? There was a comment about the remote feeling a bit cheap... I could agree with this comment. But it should NOT effect your TV purchase. Get a Harmony if you are worried, you probably have a A/V Receiver, DVD/Blu-Ray, some sort of cable box, so having one universal remote just makes sense anyway. Running my PC through the d-sub allows for 1920x1080 looks crystal clear! DVD's through my non-upconvert DVD player look spectacular!!! Why didn't I buy this sooner?!?
Cons: Now that I have everything set up... the 52" could have fit... Oh well...
Other Thoughts: I did not opt for the "White Glove Delivery" I wasn't gonna mount it to the wall... and I was using HDMI cables... so there wasn't anything I needed help with. But even the standard delivery was quick and easy (5 days from placing order to powering up the TV). I got a call a few days before the promised delivery date saying they had the TV ready for delivery already. I scheduled a time (2 hour window 11am-1pm) AIG showed up at 11:07am (I did,I checked the time) The guy unloaded it off the truck gently. I helped him bring it to the family room. The box was slightly damaged (the top flap was ripped in the corner) I honestly didn't think it was an issue, but the driver insisted that we open it before he left. We both looked at the TV and it was fine. That extra touch was nice (or could have just been if there was an issue, he'd have to come back out and pick it up again... what ever! :) ) A+ NewEgg, A+ AIT (delivery company)

awesome product
Pros: This is the best TV, I have ever seen, especialy for the price. Color is great. Energy saving functions is a nice touch. The screen can be twisted on the base for a better angle or view. This is convinient, since my soft is not centered. The smoothness of 120 hz will take some getting use to but there is definately a difference when you see some of the newer movies in blu-ray or true HD. Its like night and day.
Cons: the remote is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. Not really a sticking point since I use a universal one.
Other Thoughts: The internet functions are cool, especially the weather retriever. Good to know the weather if you have a motorcycle. All you have to do is turn on the tv and its there.
The only other thing I which I could do was using the built in speakers as my center channel.

VVG
Pros: What can I say about the screen that hasn't already been said? Try it, you'll like it. Feature I like most is that it auto-switches to HMIDI when it detects a signal from my Blu-Ray player.
Cons: Minor quibble about getting the screws that hold the stand onto the monitor out so I could weall mount. It took a little jiggling and a magnet.
Other Thoughts: Read some reviewers had issues with delivery. None here. They called before delivery, delivered when I asked them to, and put the box exactly where I wanted it.

Excellent Product / Excellent Deal
Pros: Pretty much everything about this television is a pro. Samsung is arguablly making the best LCD TVs on the market right now. Packed full of features. The price was way below local stores and with free shipping its a no brainer. I was able to get the TV and the 2 year add on warranty for hundreds less than the local store wants just for the TV (not to mention the fact that they want rediculous amounts of money to deliver it.
Cons: AIT is a shipping company that I had no experience with until now. I like that the shipment was insured. But according to Newegg the shipper was supposed to call and set up an appointment and then bring it into any room in the house that I like (Not remove it from the box or set it up unless you get the white glove upgrade). However they just showed up at an inconvienient time and did not bring it into the house. I think the major reason is that AIT does not seem to be that well established so they used a subcontractor for delivery. This is really suprising because I live in the Chicago area which is where their corporate headquarters is located.
Other Thoughts: My biggest fear was shipping damage. At the end of the day those fears were unfounded and I have a fantastic product at a fantastic price.

Samsung 46" TV Rocks
Pros: Excellent TV , Very Vivid and Clear Picture. Lower cost than Sony, Color is Outstanding.
Cons: Not for Bright rooms, due to shiny screen cover, but this gives better color. No a con for me. I watch in low light.
Other Thoughts: Excellent New Egg processing

Read this review!
Pros: I have been researching TV's for about 2 years now. I have been comparing not only features offered but also reviews from customers that have purchased TV's, this TV has all the best features (except the 850 and 950 series of the same line) and also the best reviews. This TV has awesome picture and the presets that come with the TV are great (one for movie mode and another for sports and more but those are the best ones) Also the remote that comes with it is pretty niffty, it has a motion activated backlight to it which can also be turned off if you are all about saving battery life. Also one more thing, i have also talked to insurance companies about life of TV's and why it is (as you may notice) the extended insurance is more expensive on Plasma Televisions, well its quite obvious, they break more often. I got a 4 year extended warranty for $150 as oppose to $350 for plasma. On top of that it uses less power and creates less heat! Heat = failure in electronics. Just buy the TV.
Cons: No cons with the TV but i do wish that the cable companies offered every station in regular also in HD.
Other Thoughts: if you have animals, turn it on Animal Planet, its so realistic my cat will watch it.

Phenomenal TV
Pros: Amazing TV; looks great with all video sources; bought a ps3 to go with it. The blu-ray movies are actually a little uncomfortable to watch on the standard settings; too realistic looking. It's like watching a play! Other than that, even after 2 months I am regularly stunned by how good this picture is. Best purchase I have made in a long time.
Cons: None

Beautiful Picture
Pros: I researched for months before purchasing this set... Clean, Clear Picture. Great Value. Top of the line features. I have this TV hooked up to a blu-ray media center and HD cable. It switches inputs quickly. I have not had one tiny bit of buyers remorse. I don't find the click wheel on the remote to be hard to use at all.
Cons: None I can think of.

NO REGRETS!
Pros: Everything! We've been so happy with this purchase. We just had a house full of people over to watch the Steelers win the Super Bowl and had so many compliments on the picture, sound, and how awesome the off-angle viewing is. Also, I'm constantly looking at the ads and sales and have not found the same model at a better price.
Cons: We have encountered absolutely no issues.
Other Thoughts: Couldn't be happier... I'm proud of this buy.

Thank you newegg!
Pros: Amazing TV. Definitely went with newegg as they are offering free shipping. Sales tax was also free, saving me a ton. Having such a large/expensive item shipped to my home made me a bit nervous, but it arrived in perfect condition, probably better than if I had fetched it from a store myself.
As far as the quality goes, this looks breathtaking. Especially while playing games on my PS3 or watching blu-rays. I thought blu-rays were just hype until I watched one in all of its glory.
I did my homework on 46" televisions and this one topped the charts with consumer reports. Stop looking for a TV. This is the one.
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Not sure why so many people are having problems with a remote control for a TV. Operation of the remote is quite simple.

Nice wall decoration
Pros: Shiny
Cons: Out of box 30 mins, screen goes black. Tech support=unsympathetic and uninterested. Scheduled maintenance on brand new tv= not a good sign. Goodbye super bowl.
Other Thoughts: So many good reviews... what happened?

Awesome LCD Panel
Pros: Attractive bezel and very clear screen that doesn't reflect in bright room. ToC is very subtle. BD on HDMI w/PS3 is simply sick - great color contrast and blacks are excellent. Very deep menus that allow you to customize every tiny detail to get the perfect picture. 120hz is definitely worth it for sports, and you can turn Auto Motion Plus to Low, Med, High or Off so that a 24hz or 60hz source doesn't have that "shot w/a cheap video camera" or "too smooth" look other 120hz panels have. Decent media player / pic viewer (although I still use the PS3's to play music, movies and pics) and the LAN / WiFi / USB connectivity is sweet.
Cons: None whatsoever. This TV rocks. I'm seeing some occasional 'vapor' on non-HD source on Dish but that's Dish's compression/source I believe...HD channels are perfect as they can be via broadcast.
Other Thoughts: Was concerned about other comments re. the quality of sound from panel speakers. I 86'd my amp and 5.1 during setup b/c it's legacy, big and didn't want the clutter. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound. Plenty loud and the SRS sounds oddly decent in a 16x24 room w/high ceilings. Remote might not win any design awards but it's fine. Ordered on Tues night, delivered on Fri.

Just as advertised
Pros: Size is adequate for my small basement viewing room, and the 120hz picture is amazing! I never knew the Blu-Ray could look like this. Buy it while you can at these low prices. Newegg delivers once again.
Cons: None to speak of. Manual takes some study, but once you read it a few times it makes sense.

Fantastic TV
Pros: Very nice black levels. Tons of features and tweaks. Excellent standard def processing.
Cons: The off angle viewing is a little weak. I can definitely tell a difference in balck levels between sitting dead on the tv and sitting off to the side but i think this is true of all LCDs
Other Thoughts: When I bought this TV I was a little concerned about the shiny screen since our living room is pretty bright, but I don't notice any reflection in the screen even during the day.
My other concern was the red bezel but honestly now that it is in the room I don't even notice it and it blends in very nicely if you have dark wood furniture (which we do).
Overall, this is a great TV and I highly recommend it.

i love it
Pros: Great picture...sharp, vibrant. Lots of inputs. I love the way this TV looks. The glossy black, the ultra clear screen, even the touch of color looks cool (wasn't a consideration when buying...in fact i considered it a minus if anything). I upgraded to HD cable the day of the BCS championship game and since then have watched all the NFL playoff games, the whole Planet Earth series in HD, and a lot of other HD/non-HD programs as well. Everything looks better! There is no comparison to my old 27" CRT which now serves as a nice bedroom TV.
Cons: I can't think of anything bad to say about the TV. I wanted a TV that wasn't too expensive, but still was a big improvement on base model TVs (worth the extra 2-3 hundie), and a good size (big!) but not too big for my apt. I got it!
Other Thoughts: My apartment living room is smallish, but even as close as 6 feet (couch is about 10 ft away), this screen is not too big. You have to be really close to get pixelation (is that a word?)

Best $$$$ I've spent!
Pros: Incredible picture! The tv itself is just incredible. The HD is stunning. Got the 120 mhz since I watch sports. I simply can not tell you how happy I am to own this tv. I've waited a long time with lots of research before buying. This TV is my favorite purchase since I've bought my first car! Better buy than the 7 and 8 Series.
Cons: Remote is ok. I just don't like the wheel/selector part. The HDMI #4 is on the side and is vertical in layout. I like to see it in the horizontal layout so that due to gravity the cable pulls against the wider side of the HDMI cable.
Other Thoughts: Absolutely stunning! Can't wait to get a 9 series when they drop in price!

Amazing!!
Pros: I've been checking out the LCD's for some time and could not be happier with the Samsung 650 and the fair price and quick delivery from Newegg.
I first connected to my Comcast service and the improvement was substantial. The other day I had FIOS installed and it was like the "Wizard of Oz" scene of going from black and white to color for the first time. Simply incredible. These two are simply meant for each other. The best picture I have seen on any TV anywhere and it's in my family room.
Cons: Are you kidding me? Well this TV deserves a home theatre system to complete the expierence

Excellent!!
Pros: Excellent picture one of the best I have seen in my opinion. All sorts of hookups including but not limited to 4 HDMI ports. More then enough. Audio alert to let you know when TV turns on or Off. Touch of Color is present but not overwhelming.
Cons: The touch sensitive controls are almost impossible to see unless you are standing 2 inches away. 120hz isn't bad but wasn't for me, make sure you like 120hz before paying extra for it.
Other Thoughts: Had a little problem with the TV at first but Samsungs excellent customer service and RMA service fixed the problems. I will always buy Samsung T.V's!!

Amazing
Pros: Amazing - the only word to describe this TV. I've been shopping and researching HDTVs for 2 years and finally bought this one - I had decided on Samsung a few months ago, and the features and size to cost ratio fell in line for this purchase. Picture quality - top notch. Inputs - as many as you need. Brightness, contrast, everything..it's awesome. Color, response time, and motion are outstanding. Saw this side by side with the Sony at a brick and mortar - Sony has nothing on this TV. OSD and menus are smooth and intuitive. Infonet for weather, etc is a cool feature. Built-in Ethernet port - the future is now! haha
Cons: Remote is a little cheesy - but that's why I have my Harmony One. Speakers aren't that great, but if you buy a TV like this, you should be ashamed of yourself if you're not running it through an Amp.
Other Thoughts: I run everything through my Onkyo A/V Receiver and then one HDMI cable to the TV. I run my antenna to the F-connector on the TV for OTA HD and use the TV's optical to the AMP to get the 5.1 from the OTA HD. This way, if my Tivo or Cable craps out, I can still watch HD programming in a pinch.
ToC is nice, but could have done without it - it's more of an Amber color than red. But, it does go well with this chocolate, moss, orange, and brown retro 60's thing my wife has going on in the living room.
Awesome TV - other than my iPhone, this may be the most impressive piece of electronics I've purchased in the past 5 years.

So life like
Pros: 1080P with excellent contrast. Everything looks 3D on this thing. ToC is not really seen unless sunlight is on the frame. Sound is as good as any other TV I've ever listened to.
Cons: If you do happen to set it up with direct sunlight on it the frame can look strange and kinda glows red. It had this goofy info link that you can use to set up stock tickers and weather. Problem is there is no keyboard so selecting all your stock's ticker symbols takes forever to find in the list.
Other Thoughts: I don't have a blue ray yet but my upconvert DVD looks really good. I have DirectTV and while the picture is good the company is run by idiots and I would recomend cable service instead.

Worth Every Penny
Pros: This TV is worth every single cent I paid, that's for sure. Very stylish and functional. The 120 Hz feature is just awesome for video games, movies and tv. It looks exceptional with 3d animated movies such as Kung Fu Panda.
The internet feature is great. Quite nice to be able to push a button and bring up weather information real quick (or news and stocks as well). Also the illuminated remote control is handy. No more having to angle it toward the screen for light or anything. Though I will end up replacing it for a Logitech Harmony. Just a personal preference.
Other pros. Plenty of connections for all you need. Program reservation feature is nice to have. Also, the TV menu system just has alot of nice options to work with.
Cons: The curved chassis doesn't really allow much for the Wii sensor bar. But can't win them all right?
Other Thoughts: Also I see the value of the remote needing to have a toggle switch between the 120 Hz modes... when company comes over and they're too far behind the times to enjoy it. Would be convenient to have it on the remote but honestly, do not base that on buying this TV.

Wow
Pros: I am so glad I bought this LCD. The clarity, color and contrast on this TV is outstanding. Now I wish I would have gotten the 52 inch but. I'll be in the market for a new one for my bedroom so I'll get it then.
Cons: It has some lag time when you turn it on.
Other Thoughts: I ordered this TV Wednesday night at 9:30 pm and I got it Friday at 5:00pm. Unbelievable service from Newegg. This is my 2nd order with them and I'll continue to order from them again. Keep up the good work Newegg....

Samsung impresses once again
Pros: After owning two Samsung computer monitors I decided that a ToC LCD TV is the only way to go. It's the nicest screen I have ever seen in the 46" range and has a lot of nice/handy features. The TV comes with four HDMI ports (one of which doesn't support sound).
Cons: Does not have an optical audio input which would have be nice since my computer hooked up to the TV doesn't have audio through HDMI (Nvidia 8800GTX). I think the stand should be a bit deeper to prevent the TV from falling forward in case of an earthquake.
Other Thoughts: I ordered the screen on Sunday and it arrived earlier than expected on Friday (free shipping). If you order something big like this I recommend contacting AIT like I did since you might be able to shave days off delivery. This TV was supposed to arrive next Wednesday.
Newegg knocked $950 off the price and offered free shipping. You can't find this TV for a price anywhere near that. Use some of the discount to get yourself an extended warranty since it'll pay for it to be shipped back in case of a failure.

Best Buy
Pros: This TV is outstanding, and to top it off, the price was on-sale for $*censored*. This TV is very versatile; it can be tweaked however you'd like and it has a ton of great features. It is very sleek and is the perfect size for my living room. Plenty of connections in the back and on the side; you'll be able to connect all of your devices. InfoLink is a cool feature that allows you to view the weather, stocks, and news on-screen, while watching anything. My XBox 360, HD upconversion DVD player, and HD cable all look incredibly good. The audio is so much better than I expected, based on others' reviews.
Cons: The preset settings make the picture look too bright and unrealistic, but it isn't a big deal if you tweak it. The 120Hz feature makes things look "surreal", not a problem because you can turn it off. The remote that comes with it isn't the greatest. If you don't have HD cable or satellite, your shows will be stretch out or you'll have black bars on either side of the TV. The startup time is a little slow.
Other Thoughts: If you are planning on putting this TV into a room with a lot of sunlight, I suggest that you get curtains or blinds, because the TV has a glossy finish. Don't be fooled by how many cons there are, they do not outweigh the pros in any stretch of the imagination.

Great LCD TV
Pros: I replaced a two year old 42' 720P Westinghouse with this TV. I'm not going to go on and on with what's already been said, I'm only going to say this is the best looking TV I have seen. I have friends that have Sony's and the picture is not as good as the Samsung. Also if your doing your research on this set you'll see that Samsung is one of the best brands you can buy.
Cons: None except the tint of red around the set, dosn't really show until there's sun shining on it.
Other Thoughts: The 120Hz feature will take getting use to, I couldn't figure out what people were talking about when they said the picture looked fake now I do. It's not really fake looking just very clear like a live event.

Very Nice
Pros: I use broad cast signal and this has a very good tuner. I pulled in four channels that I didn't know were there.
Broad cast digital is only 1080i but it looks fantastic! I can't wait for PS3 to arive to see Lord of the Rings or such in 1080P.
120hz with 4ms response is huge. Last TV was a 37" with 720p and 8ms response. I would see alot of blocked and blurred motion. This TV while sitting close I have noticed NONE.
"Hidden" sensor type buttons are very almost unnoticed. This was a nice unplanned bonus as I have two toddlers and they have not found the buttons...yet.
Cons: I wish the Wiselink would play mpeg's. This is minor at best but it would be nice to quickly hook up a media player and watch it. Glossy screen might bother some I have a darker viewing room and it seems to make the image better but in a lighter room it might reflect.
Other Thoughts: I think right now there is a 200 dollar rebate at NFL.com (1-10-09) but check for yourself. Get it NOW. Watch the Superbowl in style.
Newegg Thank you again for your customer service and prices. Job well done.

One of the BEST TVs I've ever seen.
Pros: August 08-Jan 09 Review: This is the best picture I have seen. By far the best bang for the buck. All the connections you would need. I personally only use 1 HDMI. A multi-port HDMI receiver is a must. Did have a problem when I first got the TV, and called customer service. They had a local tech company call me right away to schedule a repair date. Got it fixed as fast as possible, at no cost of course. Ever since its been heaven watching Directv and all the HD channels. Blu-Ray HTPC next on the list.
Cons: Weird faint vertical line from top to bottom when I bought it. None since.
Other Thoughts: This is off topic, but make sure you buy a A/V receiver that passes both HDMI audio and video.

Simply Great!
Pros: *Awesome Picture. Colors, Blacks, all look good. Also, If you are trying to decide between a set with 120hz or without, I highly recommend one with 120hz. Even if you don't use it very much, its nice to have the option. *Price with NewEgg is the best! *Lots of settings to change.
Cons: *It could use a button to toggle the 120hz. When you recieve this TV... you will want to see how the 120hz looks with everything; games, movies, TV. It would make it so much easier if there was a simple button to switch between 120hz- Off, Low, Med., High, and Demo. *120hz will not work with VGA connection, so use HDMI/DVI wherever possible. *Keep the Dust Cloth handy!
Other Thoughts: If this is your 1st HDTV set... prepare to spend a lot of time- checking out scenes of movies, flipping between different HD shows, and playing old games to see how they all look on the new set. The wheel on the remote is kinda lame, but as with other reviewers, I simply use the wheel as a "D-Pad", pressing up-down-left-right to navigate menus, instead of spinning the wheel. I recommend checking it out at a local store, before making this purchase, just to be able to see what you will be getting. If I could have afforded it, I would have liked the 52" even more. 46" is nice, but with life-like images... you'll want them life-size!

Outstanding TV, Shipping Takes a Loooooong Time
Pros: Terrific in every way that other 500+ users have already listed so I'll omit the repeats and get to a few things that I didn't see get mentioned here. 1) If using this with a PC then hook that up with a HDMI/DVI cable (you can get one here at newegg), IMPORTANT: use HDMI port #2 and rename it to "PC" from the menu. 2) If using a PS3, hook that up to HDMI port #3 (may use others, but I found that one I know for sure works), name that port Blu-Ray, and then when you want to watch a BD, go into the PS3 settings menu > BD/DVD Settings > BD 1080p 24Hz Output (HDMI) > OFF or else the PS3 will only give you 24Hz refresh. I think this happens because of the slight delay in switching between HDMI inputs. 3) The latest firmware on the samsung website is labeled version 2007.0 and this unit ships with version 2008.9 -- I have no idea which one is the newest now, so I sent e-mail to samsung, awaiting reply. (contd below)
Cons: Nothing to really complain about but will note that this set has a little more reflection from the screen than other LCDs I have used, but I understand that this is necessary for the much higher contrast ratio. It's only noticeable with a very bright light source behind the viewer. Consumer reports mentioned that the viewing angle was only so-so, but I don't know why they said that -- this is easily viewed from any angle that one would ever care to sit. I really like the remote and don't know what others were complaining about. I would only add that the backlight is amber and I was hoping for green, but that's very minor. One actual complaint I have is that I ordered this on Dec 27 and received it Jan 6. This is way too long to wait for such a terrific TV. AIT needs to improve or newegg should consider another shipping company.
Other Thoughts: 4) Don't use comcast if you can avoid it -- their HD is not 1080p and they also compress the signal to fit all those channels on the wire simultaneously, so the picture is noticeably blurred during fast motion. This is not caused by the TV set, as one can easily confirm by playing a BD movie or video game. I would go with Dish Network or DirecTV to make the most of this set (if you can get it that is, I have no choice since my apt has obstructed south access). 5) The info button will always show the source as 60Hz, even though the system will process the input at 120Hz -- I think this info is before the doubling of that number, which can confuse customers so I hope they fix it in a new firmware version. In all, this is one magnificent display and none of the pics I have seen on the web look as nice as it does in reality. Worth every penny.

Amazing TV. Buy it!
Pros: This TV has amazing picture & features. Bought on newegg on Saturday and arrive Wednesday. Thanks Newegg!!! fast shipping! best price! no scratches! no dead pixels!
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Wish the wiselink USB feature played videos. I'm keeping my fingers crossed a software update will have this!

OOOO YAHHHH
Pros: Beautiful. My first LCD tv. Picture looks freakin amazin. ToC is barely noticable unless in a very very bright room. Actually wish it was brighter. As you may have heard ToC doesn't use power or an internal light source. Its brightness is a function of the ambient room light.
Cons: In my opinion the screen can be a bit glarry if image on the screen is bright in nature or when room lights are bright This may just be how all lCD's are or a need to tweak the picture settings. Auto Motion Plus needs to be refined, can make images with human beings look fake, sorta odd looking and can freak you out after watching for a while. Though this feature can be completely turned off or to a low, medium, or high setting.
Other Thoughts: People hate the controller, I think its looks great, my little cousin even commented on how cool it looks. It also has a night light which can be turned on or off to better see the buttons at night. Clickwheel can be used up,down, left, right (my preference) instead of rotational scrolling.
And do watch planet earth on this thing, it will blow your mind!!!!

there's always something...........
Pros: All the ra ra things other reviewers have said. Samsung service (which need to be called top replace the screen.)
Cons: The Remote. The single pixel width blue line that appeared about 4 months after purchase (not from Newegg). The line ran top to bottom 1/3 screen
Other Thoughts: I asked Samsung this question. Does the warranty on the newly replaced LCD start again from time of install? They said "No". I asked why? Still waiting for that answer from August 08.

Hats off to Newegg
Pros: Great TV and great buy from Newegg. I bought the Samsung LN46A650 at a great price, free shipping, and included a 4 yr. extended warrantee. Samsung has the best LCD on the market today. Shippers called in advanced, made a date and time schedule at my convenience and delivered the LCD as promised.
Cons: you must be kidding.
Other Thoughts: I will not worry about buying and delivering big ticket items from Newegg. A new customer in future purchases. Keep up the great prices, delivery, and service.

AWSOME TV!!
Pros: Everything on this LCD is great. Have not had any trouble and the quality is unsurpassed. Not sure what people are saying about the remote. Mine is just fine. Sound isn't the best I've ever heard. Hit Newegg just right and got a killer deal. As usual, received the unit before I thought I would. Shipping company was extremely nice. You just can't go wrong with Newegg and Samsung!!!!
Cons: Besides a minor ding on the sound quality, no cons.
Other Thoughts: If you hit Newegg just right, you can't go wrong with the price. The quality speeks for itself. People come over and rave about the picture. Don't even think about getting a Sony.

Great TV!
Pros: Best TV for the money. Unfortunately I did not buy from Newegg because I like to have the instant gratification syndrome when making big purchases, but I was able to get the TV from a B&M for about $80 than when Newegg had it on sale for $1599. I digress.
From all the TVs that I looked at and read about, this TV had everything. Contrast Ratio, Inputs, Response time, everything.
There were no buttons at all on the TV, that could be a con now that I think about it.
When my PS3 or external device, hooked up with HDMI, turns on, this TV turns to the appropriate input. Never had that before, I think its cool...
Cons: It doesn't have buttons on the TV, so if you cannot program universal remotes to change inputs, you have to use the original. There is no DVI port. Neither of those cons is enough place the TV any lower than 5 eggs.
Other Thoughts: I love how much this TV weighed compared to the TV it replaced. Took my friend and me to move my old TV, 32" tube, and just me to replace it with this one.

WOW!!!
Pros: All i can say is this TV is simply amazing. Better than the sony bravia and cheaper. If you are having a hard time deciding between this and the Bravia XBR go with the Samsung. Any Samsung that is 650 Series or higher you can't go wrong.
Cons: NONE
Other Thoughts: You may have seen reviews with people complaining about the glare on from the edge of the TV but I have not noticed it at all. Enjoy!!

very nice
Pros: This TV has the best picture of any television I have seen. I have it hooked up to HD DVR cable box, HDMI up convert DVD player, and Wii. All look outstanding.
Cons: The trim around the screen scratches very very easily. Dont even breath too heavily on the trim, as the oxygen molecules exiting your lungs will likely scratch the finish. I wouldve easily given this set 5 stars if the outer trim didnt scratch so easily. Still, its not a huge deal, as all the scratches are very tiny, and cannot be seen unless you look right up close with good lighting.
Other Thoughts: This TV really will blow your mind. The red highlight TOC feature is also pretty cool. You cant even see it unless your living room is very well lit, and when you do see it, it looks very refined and upscale.

dig it
Pros: I bought this tv in August, and it still operates great. I love the picture quality and I find that its speakers are not as bad as some reviewers seem to say (you should have this tv connected to a stereo anyway). I like the ToC--it doesn't take away from the picture at all. plenty of HDMI ports. I like the touch-buttons on the right side for power/volume/tuner
Cons: the click-wheel on the remote is a little hard to control. no DVI.
Other Thoughts: the shiny frame of the tv likes to hoard dust, but it comes with a cleaning cloth so it's no big deal.

Outstanding HDTV
Pros: Hands down this is the best LCD HDTV out right now. The picture is fantastic. I'm glad I got it before Newegg sold out.
The remote is no worse then other remotes, the wheel is a bit sensitive though.
Delivery was fast, I received the tv one day earlier then scheduled.
Cons: None, If I had the money I would buy another one.
Other Thoughts: The tv speakers are ok, but I recommend a surround sound system.
The tv I received had the latest firmware 2007 and was manufactured in Oct 08.
There are control on the tv itself, just not buttons. If you don't look close you can miss them.

SAMSUNG ToC 46"
Pros: Great Picture,Sounds good,Have two other flat screen tv , this one bets them all as for as clear and bright picture.
Cons: The remote is at best a 1 star,at times it hard to turn on the tv and nowhere on the tv can you turn it on?
Other Thoughts: with such a great tv,it's a shame they couldn't put a few more $$, for a five star rateing . . _

An Outstanding Value
Pros: - Picture Quality is easily the best I've seen among any comparable models, even larger models (not counting larger models of this same version). - Built-In Surround Sound is awesome...if you're sitting relatively center of the TV and watching something with surround sound, you'll hear it. - Additional bells and whistles and other features are enough to make your head spin. This TV can download the weather among other things. It's simply amazing.
Standard Pros: 1080p, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionPerfect technology, etc.
Cons: The remote control feels rather cheap, and the "click wheel" for menu navigation is spotty.
Also, beware of free shipping. While nice, I would rather pay a little bit for the peace of mind that FedEx or UPS is going to deliver on time and not "forget" to put my shipment on the truck like the selected carrier did -- TV arrived a day late.
Other Thoughts: For the price, and for the free shipping despite the issue I had there, this cannot be beat if you're in the market for something between 40 and 50 inches. An absolute purchase.

Great picture
Pros: Plenty of inputs, great size picture, colors are great when adjusted right, Best deal for the money would buy another. 120hz intensity is adjustable, plenty of adjustments for picture quality
Cons: Picture resizing is a little limited, regular definition look best when you don't use the whole screen. The resizing screen position adjustment does stay programed once you set it.
Other Thoughts: Sound is not as bad as everyone says. Get a hdtv tuning dvd helps you adjust the picture. Wish there was a way to use a separate sound input for hdmi so i can use the tv as a center channel. 120hz makes people on the screen move a little unnatural there movements are a little snapper but you can turn the 120hz setting up or down or off. and make sure you have a sturdy table that not shaky if you put it on one.

Luv It
Pros: Great picture with HD channels. Have a computer hooked to it (DVI to HDMI cable) - movies stored on computer look great. (also, Connected to home audio system) When one is finished tweaking............one word comes to mind awesome. $700 dollars cheaper at newegg then any local store.
Cons: The delivery service used needed a 4 hour window for delivery and they had the TV for a day before they could schedule a delivery. Delivery service 1 egg, TV all them eggs.
Other Thoughts: Upgraded firmware from 2004 to 2007 and out of the box requires some tweaking on picture setup - lots and lots of tweaks.

FAST Delivery Kicking picture
Pros: This tv is awesome, I plug in my ps3/xbox360/computer home stereo system and the picture is unbelievable. The Black level is unheard of, I had a few HD tv before this and this is the best one I have gotten. And the price is right no tax, free shipping and with 4 year warrenty for 1698 can't complain. I try playing a lot of movie to try to see artifact and so on. This thing take it like a champ. And Info link is more useful then I thought it would be, get the temperature in a touch of a button.
Cons: Well it take around 5-7 sec to turn on so I guess that not much of a problem.
Other Thoughts: The controller wheel selection is a pain, but luckily you can click on it to navigate up, down, left and right. So if you dont like the wheel just click. Just a extra feature

Great monitor, great price
Pros: Nice finish, great contrast, smooth, life-like image, excellent black levels, 'touch of red' classy-if you're into that sort of thing, fantastic price, 120hz technology works well under most circumstances, lots of connections
Cons: That nice finish is a fingerprint and dust magnet, the glossy screen that gives you the excellent contrast ratio also reflects ambient light, slight delay when switching between sources, way to switch sources could be better
Other Thoughts: I compared a lot of monitors in this price point, and this had the best picture quality. The Sony doesn't reflect as much ambient light, but you'll pay more. The 120Hz technology helps smooth things out pretty well, but can occasionally make it look a little artificial. That and the slowness switching between sources aren't enough to detract from this excellent monitor. Also, the AIT delivery was timely and very helpful, so much so that I can recommend buying from Newegg rather than a brick and mortar with no reservations.

Blown Away
Pros: The picture is on this TV is amazing! Very crisp, bright & very clean. Watching movies I seen before makes them feel like new. I was blown away just watching the Santa Clause with my kids, You get the feeling your watching it live & the movie wasn't even a BLU Ray DVD it was a standard DVD.
Cons: Yeah, most complain about the remote being cheap & they're right but didn't have a problem using mine. If you used an Ipod before, you can use this remote with no problems. PIP is off air antenna or cable input only...disappointed.
Other Thoughts: I was worried about buying a TV online but I must admit that I'm very pleased with how fast I received the TV (4days) with the holiday(Thanksgiving) from California to PA(damage free) & the quality was more than I hoped for. I have friends that paid twice as much for their TV's & the pictures on their sets can't compare to this one..Highly recommend this TV!

Great picture!!!
Pros: This lcd has the best picture I have seen!! After reading serveral reviews and looking at different sets in stores I chose this one. Have NOT regretted it at all!!!
Cons: You really need a home audio system with this. But that's not a problem. Most people do have home audio.
Other Thoughts: Just waiting on the 52" 650 to drop a little more that will be my next one.

Excellent Value!
Pros: Excellent picture, very easy setup, lots of options. We took this TV out of the box and hooked it up in 15 minutes. HD picture jumps out at you.
Cons: None so far!
Other Thoughts: Price unbeatable. Priced this very same TV at Circuit City and with taxes and extended in-home warranty, CC's price was $900 more! I've been looking for a comparable price and haven't been able to find one. Black Friday price on this TV still $300-400 higher. Couldn't be happier.

Just buy it already..
Pros: Highest rated LCD right now. . #1 in consumer reports. 120hz. Has all the features you need. I have one mounted with an Omnimount U3 Tilt mount, it's perfect in every way. Samsung support is great (per a previous Samsung DLP I have).
Stop shopping tvs, stop comparing, just buy it.
Cons: None. Period.
Other Thoughts: I love the review below about the power button.. "I'll just have to adapt to the remote." Yes, time to come along to that whiz bang "modern" technology called the remote control.. ha ha ha.. too funny.

Pros: Great picture quality (PQ), very good value, many connection possibilities, multipile adjusts to PQ, sound, etc. Have since purchase viewed many different brands & models in local retail store and none have better PQ. Very pleased with purchase. Not knowledgeable enough to comment on technical aspects but can state that the picture is of great quaility and sharpness. Colors are vibrant and true.
Cons: really none although agree with previous reviews about PIP and remote Ipod type wheel...don't use PIP or Samsung remote (use cable box remote) very often so this is not a problem for me.
Other Thoughts: First HDTV purchase and I may have picked one of the best...Newegg has always met or exceeded my expections and this purchase was no exception. Its always a pleasure to do business with Newegg.....

Amazing T.V
Pros: Picture quality, frame, connectivity, etc.
I actually like the wheel on the remote, and the sound also seems very acceptable.
Cons: The power button isn't a button it's just part of the frame. Which technically is cool, but since that's normally how I turn my T.V there is a huge smudge on my T.V from it.
I'll just have to adapt to the remote.

Fantastic TV, Excellent Picture
Pros: Image quality is excellent and as a replacement for a 3 year old Hitachi plasma (42"/1080i) it's outstanding. Every single element of the image is improved, the menu system is easy to use, the InfoLink thing is a nice addition (albeit a bit useless), the variety of inputs makes connecting things a cakewalk (although a DVI connector would've been nice) and overall, the experience has been outstanding.
Cons: The Infolink system is a bit stunted and could use more configuration options if it wants to be anything more than a gimmick. The remote that comes with the TV feels flimsy, cheap and I didn't care for the iPodesk "wheel" on it, but as I was using a Harmony remote for my system anyway, it was immaterial to me. The red-tinted plastic frame around the TV is more subtle than I thought and does look fine, but it could be black just as easily and would still look good.
Other Thoughts: At the price (lowest I could find, +no tax, +free delivery) the TV is a fantastic replacement for early HDTV adopters who weren't fully satisfied with some of the initial technology. The large number of HDMI 1.3 compliant connections allows you to hook up a pile of stuff direct to the TV, so folks without receivers shouldn't have to bother with HDMI splitters. Overall, I can't recommend this TV highly enough - it's a night and day difference between my older plasma. I've had 3 independent people who've seen it playing a Blu-Ray (off a PS3) say that the picture looked better than the theater and that's pretty much what any self-respecting AV geek would like to hear.

Great TV
Pros: Great picture quality, which is of course a relative statement. You can read the specs for yourself and compare. From my research it appeared this crop of Samsung' (550's 650's etc.) seem to be fairly well regarded.
Incredible value from Newegg. Was worried about online ordering of it and the whole shipping thing, but got it in 3 days perfect condition.
Cons: PIP functionality is lacking (it is there, but not real useful as only Air/Cable options are available).
Sound is really not good, I have headphones which have more depth.
I don't particularly like the remote, mostly the wheel for the menus is kind of annoying, would much prefer arrows. Should also have some things that are buried in the menus as standard buttons. I think you can probably assign a few buttons, but I have been to lazy to read the instructions. Will probably end up trying my Harmony 550 at some point.
Other Thoughts: ToC is barely noticeable to me, don't see why this is a deal breaker for some. Glossy screen does show some reflections, but 90% of the time it is not too noticeable to me either. Haven't seen any dead/stuck pixel issues etc., but admittedly I haven't closely inspected it, cause if it is not obvious then I really don't want to know.
This is my first HDTV, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I am really liking it so far. Except for the fact my computer is real hard to read @ 1920x1080 from the couch!

Great LCD TV, Great Price
Pros: Not much I can say that has not already been said. Arrived in perfect condition, no dead pixels. Best LCD picture I've ever seen in my life, plenty of inputs. Who cares about the remote, most functions are available using other programmable remotes and it works OK for me when I need it.
Cons: No DVI input. Wise link is kind of weak, but I use XBox and laptops anyway so who cares? DVI would have made this perfect, but VGA doesn't look bad.
Other Thoughts: New Egg rocks. Great price, quick delivery, perfect condition.

Awesome T.V.
Pros: All I have to say is WOW. I have been holding off for over two years since I bought my other 32" LCD Sammy for the perfect replacement. This is it, plus New Eggs price and service, this can't be beat. 120hz is now a must and the Ultra Clear Panel produces the darkest blacks and brightest colors I have seen on a LCD. Beats my tft Samsung and any other TV out there hands down.
Cons: Yeah the remotes scroll isn't the greatest, it doesn't pay me to watch it and it's not bigger. These are about the only minuses I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Don't hold off. You will be missing a truly incredible TV watching experience. I haven't seen Samsung's LED TV yet but for the money, you can't go wrong.

Very happy
Pros: Pure quality in both look and feel. Beautiful picture and surprisingly decent sound for built in speakers. I really like the ToC red tinted bezel. With 120Hz and 5:5 pulldown support, watching Blu-ray DVD on this panel is quite the experience. No control buttons on the front for my kids to play with.
Cons: Pricey, but Neweggs price is the best I've found. The remote leaves much to be desired. I had to turn down the AMP setting from default of Medium to Low as it was making things look a little too real. Almost like watching actors on a set in front of props, rather than blending into the environment (if that make sense). At any rate I had to turn it down as it was freaking my wife out.
Other Thoughts: The is the second LCD I've purchsed through Newegg. Newegg made the whole buying experience cake. I had no problem with the delivery. Over all I am very happy!

Stunning
Pros: 120 automotion Elegant design Affordable 4 hdmi ports. I hooked this up to dish network turbo HD...just fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better picture.
Cons: none that I can tell
Other Thoughts: remote control code for this is not published well anywhere. I am still looking for it. The remote control isn't great, or bad so I'd like to consolidate it. Oh well. New egg also shows 'Toc' on the description, but the unit is not advertized to have this feature in the manual or web page, nor can I activate it. The 8 series has it, so I think this is a misprint. Don't care about it, anyway.

the BEST

Excellent TV
Pros: Excellent brightness in any light and an amazing picture quality. 1080P on xbox360 looks outstanding. There are a great number of inputs and outputs. The 120Hz really makes for a smooth picture with no motion blur.
Cons: Optical audio output only outputs dolby digital for over-the-air broadcast. All other sources including HDMI are not ouput to SPDIF audio out from TV in native source. Not a huge deal as most all other TV brands do the same thing including Toshiba, and Sony
Other Thoughts: The TOC is really nice and adds a bit of style. I wonder if they will come out with any other colors than red

Great TV
Pros: Great picture: excellent resolution, very good blacks, bright enough for high light environments (such as open windows during daylight) even with the backlight turned down a bit. For the most part the colors are great (see cons).
Lots of connectors.
120Hz panel which does 5:5 pulldown with 24p sources when AMP is turned off.
Standard def looks as good as it is going to get...
Cons: Speakers are on the bottom of the set and seem to be down firing...this leaves it sounding like the sound is reflecting off of the walls. The sound also tends to give people a more nasal sounding voice. For movies I use a surround sound system, but not for regular TV.
For the most part the colors are great, but some reds (such as the pioneer logo) trend twords bright magenta...I have not yet had time to fully adjust the display, but I get the feeling this isn't fully correctable.
Auto Motion Plus makes things too smooth for my taste. For most TV I have left it on low, but for DVDs and Blu-Ray I have turned it off. I know some people like this feature, I'm just not one of them.
On the slow side when changing channels...not too bad, but not great.
Other Thoughts: The glossy screen does not seem to have problems most normal reflections such as room lamps... I have not seen it with direct reflections from an open window.
The red bezel is not really noticeable in many lighting conditions, but other color choices would have been nice.
Check Samsung's website for firmware updates, they have released a few so far (see manual for instructions).
Newegg is the best!

Excellent TV selection
Pros: Beatiful framing, color is a nice but not significant addition. User input panels and options on the TV are nice. Sound is reasonable on the unit. 120hz option is nice for sports and action. Picture is great. So far so good!
Cons: Not really any yet, any problems I had with my original set were rectified promptly by Newegg.

Pros: This TV is fantastic. It's like looking through a window watching the show in your house. Never seen anything like it. Great price, looks great, red is really subtle. Beautiful.
Cons: Had to help delivery man bring it in house, and he didnt unpack it. No big deal though.
Other Thoughts: I watched the higheay chase scene in The Matrix, AWESOME. Picture is so good you can tell its all CGI though. Dunno if thats good or bad really. Great tv, buy this product.

HD good and bad
Pros: The TV looks great. Image quality and number of ports is awesome! The size is perfect too expecially for the price (Which was $500 less then local retail stores, and there was no shipping fee).
Cons: No DVI port, which isn't too big of a deal because of all the hdmi ports. "Touch of Color" looks nice but if you have a room that doesnt match the red then it might stand out. Luckly my room is dark so you can't really see the red. One thing you will notice at first is you can tell when a movie/tv show uses fake lighting. It is really annoying at first and kind of ruins the show but aftre about a week or I got used to it.
Other Thoughts: This is an incredible TV for the size and price. Consumer Reports voted the pervious series the best TV, so why wouldnt this one be even better? =D

Pros: -Swivel stand: having a kitchen off the living room I'm always turning this beast around -Not that heavy. I was able to muscle it on to my entertainment center solo. No idea how it compares to others tho...? -Good picture customability. I turned my colors way up to give everything more pop. -Adjustable levels of the Automotion 120hz refresh rate. High isn't always good.
Cons: -I had to upgrade the firmware because the old version kept randomly turning off/on the tv when I set the 360 to 1080p. This was only a minor issue, very easy fix from Samsung's website. -Under/over sensitive click wheel remote. -The pip screen can only show coaxial cable or air waves. Very disappointed by this. HD Video + PC/HDMI would have been nice when using the side by side positioning feature. -I bought this in late August so seeing the $330 price drop is a little unsettling. Oh well.
Other Thoughts: As others have said, keeping the 120 hz can make things look strange. Someone below said it looks "too smooth." I agree in that sometimes you can just notice that each frame is faster simply because there's twice as many of them. Regular motions seem sped up when you[re watching video that does not work well with this feature. I've found I pretty much only use it for sports because it's too distracting from everything else. (Though I do not own a blueray player so it might look awesome on that.) It's decent on "low" for 360...

Stunning TV
Pros: Picture is Stunning. I can't believe I used to watch TV before this on an SD set. I spent a lot of time researching looking for the right TV. I saw the set at a well known B&M store. The price at Newegg was unbeatable. Free shipping was the icing on the cake. Ordered on Sunday night, arrived at my house on Thursday. Courier called an hour before hand for delivery.
Cons: None really. PIP is limited as others have said. The remote control wheel is too sensitive at times and not sensitive enough at other times, end up not using it since I use the cable remote.
Other Thoughts: The 120Hz display is unbelievable. This is a quality set. People may be concerned about buying such a big ticket item on the internet, no fear, Newegg delivers a quality product again. No dead pixels. Price is unbeatable. Internet connection allows news, weather and stock updates on screen. Hooked up the TV to a new Panasonic BD-P1500 Bleu Ray Player via HDMI along with HDMI cable to HD cable box. Unparalleled display. No hesitation buy it.

Great LCD
Pros: When looking at this TV next to others of the same size, this one blows the others away. Both in Color as well as picture quality. Connected this TV up to Directv's HD Service and was sitting there stunned looking at it. When you can see the blades of grass on ESPN HD of a football game... THAT is something to make you never go back to regular TV. There is no ghosting with this LCD like you can see on some with high speed motion on screen. Glad i bought it. Get it thru Newegg and save money compared to finding it locally. Even on sale in local stores, Newegg is still cheaper.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: Lots of settings for a person to tweak.

Love It!!!!
Pros: Picture on the tv is incredible, better then I thought it would be. I already owned a Sharp Aquos and thought that picture was great until I saw this tv. The HD is so clear it's almost scary. I watched a movie from 1983 on a HD movie channel, couldn't believe the picture, it actually felt like I was in the helicopter. I am guessing the picture quality has something to do with this tv being the new 120hz, my Sharp is only 60hz. Plus this tv's contrast ratio is much higher and response time is only 4ms. I also priced this tv at Best Buy and Circuit City, both were about $500 more plus tax! The TV itself also is very attractive with it's shiny black piano finish.
Cons: The only thing I don't much like is the sound. It's ok but could be much better. I mean if my Sharp Aquos can have great sound so can everyone else. I will never understand why LCD tv's skimp on the sound? Shipping was a bit slow, 8 days is too long to wait when you are excited about getting your new tv.
Other Thoughts: I can't wait to get the USB wireless device on 11/03/08 so I can try the info link feature that let's you connect to your wireless router. Some of the features are weather, news, etc. If you have the money or use New Egg's preffered account go ahead and buy this tv, you will be very happy.
