Pros: timer.

Cons: It cooks rice ok. But for porridge, I'd rather use a slow cooker which can do a much better job.
This rice cooker has many function choices ,but most of them are actually useless.
After two years low frequent use, it failed. No response at all except clock.

Other Thoughts: keep away from this product.

Pros: Makes perfect rice of every kind. I eat mostly basmatti but have also made numerous batches of sushi rice, sweet rice, GABA brown, brown basmatti, and afew biryani's. Everything has come out perfect. The rice this thing makes have zero resemblance to any other pre method. It's like eating an entirely different (TASTY!) food.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: This thing makes perfect hardboiled egges too. Fill with water to the one cup line. Add your eggs, Do a quick cook cycle. Eggs steam to perfection and are always very easy to peel. Something about the steam makes that membrane detatch from the egg,

Pros: Very easy to use.
Rice comes out perfectly, from one to multiple cups.
Very well built
Energy efficient compared to burned.
Tried white rice, whole wheat and multi-grain

Cons: Gaba function is to short.

Pros: Makes perfect rice every time, from jasmine to gaba brown.

Cons: Brown rice and gaba brown take a long time, but that is expected so not really a flaw.

Other Thoughts: My favorite feature is the timer. Set a time and your rice will be ready at that time, provided it not sooner than the rice actually takes to cook!
