One Happy Rice Cooker
Pros: -easy recipes -easy cleaning -power cord retracts for tidyness -it sings! -cooks perfect brown rice everytime -shows you the time even though it's unplugged
Cons: none so far maybe thats its bulky make sure you have plenty of counter space -watch out for the steam vent, very hot steam comes out during cooking
Other Thoughts: first rice cooker i've owned very happy with it. kinda expensive but well worth it for someone that eats lots of rice

Excellent rice cooker.
Pros: Excellent rice cooker. Easy to use. I have no prior experience with rice cookers, but the non-stick pot and easy-to-remove pieces of this device save a lot of time over conventional ways to cook rice.
Being able to throw in raw vegetables with the rice and have a prepared meal with the touch of a button is amazing.
The "keep warm" feature is also of great benefit for those who can't always attend to the finished rice immediately.
Cons: The manual is somewhat vague at points, but trust in your cooking.
Other Thoughts: This rice cooker cooks basmati rice very easily and thoroughly. One thing worth noting is that the rice cooker treats ALL white rice the same and due to the efficiency of heating basmati rice does not require three times the amount of water if one were cooking with a pot. Appropriate rice:water ratio is 1 cup (supplied) of rice to 1 cup of water on the inner marker of this excellent cooker. Normally basmati rice would call for a 2 or 3 to 1 ratio of water to rice. This misconception may have lead to another reviewer's problems.
Also, be prepared to change the "tune" that plays when the rice cooker is done cooking. This can be found in the manual.

Great Rice Cooker.
Pros: Great Rice cooker. Makes excellent rice.
Cons: Slow but worth it. It somehow browns rice when put on long term warm mode.

Best Rice Cooker
Pros: We LOVE this rice cooker. We've had others in the past, and this one FAR exceeds any previous experiences. Rice, of any kind, comes out PERFECTLY EVERY TIME!! Even if you mess us the water/rice ratio a bit it still comes perfect! It is also really simple to use, and can sing you twinkle twinkle little star as an added bonus... The hold feature is very nice, you can leave cooked rice in the pot for hours without any risk of burning or gumminess.
Cons: You do have to allot for a slightly longer cooking time with this rice cooker, but I've found that the timing is fine if I start the rice before I prep dinner.
Other Thoughts: Even people who can't make microwave popcorn could make perfect rice with this cooker.

Amazing
Pros: This thing is amazing. I couldn't say more about. The power consumtion on these or any rice cooker is kind of crazy, but this thing is all I wanted. Perfect sticky rice everytime.
Cons: You will have to get use to it. It took me 3 tries, but I learned two things. The measuring cup is just a bit smaller than a real cup. (learn how much in case the cup disappears)
Other Thoughts: 2nd Use just a little less water than what they ask for or just a bit more rice. I found it easier to judge less water.

Makes Great Rice Everytime!
Pros: Timer function, consistent results, excellent brown rice, keep-warm function, nonstick bowl. Have used this about 5x per week since I got it and not had any problems.
Cons: Regular rice takes around 45 minutes, brown rice almost 2 hours! If you cook steel-cut oats, be prepared to do some cleaning when you're done. Only part of the case is stainless steel, the rest is white. Time display is in 24h format.
Other Thoughts: I've wanted a rice cooker for a while, just for the convenience factor. I also love brown rice but it takes so much time & attention to cook properly. I read the reviews on another site (named after a jungle) and everyone raved about how great this thing was. They were right. Every type of rice I've cooked in here has come out great. White, brown, sushi all perfect. I also use the timer function to have steel-cut oatmeal in the mornings. I make spanish rice in it a lot...2 cups of white rice, 1 small can of tomato juice, 2 Tablespoons of chicken buillon, 2-4 tablespoons of taco seasoning, add water to the "2" mark and cook.
Highly recommend this model. They also make a 10-cup version (non-stainless) if you need a LOT of rice.

Mush rice cooker!
Pros: I can't find anything about this rice cooker that is in the Pros column.
Cons: I've tried all kinds of rice and none of them came out good, All were mushy and uneatable. The worst part of it....This $149 rice cooker is non-refundable.
Other Thoughts: Pan cooked rice comes out better! Save your money and don't buy this cooker.

So good bought another
Pros: Fuzzy logic keeps rice warm and tasty for days
Cons: Should last 10 years
Other Thoughts: This was a replacement for my other zojirushi that I had for 7 years. Towards the last years it would start burning the rice at the bottom and would start drying out the rice after 4hrs of it sitting in warm mode.
Good rice cooker only wished it would last longer than 7 years as I have grown up with rice cookers that are still in used today!

Awesome
Pros: It is easy to use. We now eat way more rice than we ever had, and that's a good thing. The rice, brown or white or jasmin has come out perfect every time!
Cons: The clock only displays military time, or at least I have not figured our how to set it to 12-hour. A cardboard box fell from a cupboard and (easily) marked the plastic front.
Other Thoughts: Great product! Great company with a good website for help and cooking tips. I usually buy computer parts from Newegg, but I guess they're just awesome at everything they do!
