Pros: It gets a pretty close shave on the areas it does shave. battery indicator is a plus. Has a trimmer on back. Cons: This shaver is NOT for those with any sort of thick hair or a really dark 5 o'clock shadow. It has more of a habit of pulling hairs out of your face than cutting them. I have to ALWAYS make sure it's above a 60% charge. If it hits 40% it gets kind of scary because it usually bites a chunk of hair out of your face when it dies and drops straight to 0%. Maybe this is just mine but I have never seen a 20% of any sort. (battery indicator only displays increments of 20%) It seems nearly impossible to shave around the jaw line and neck and takes me about 20 minutes to shave in-order to make sure there are no "patches" left. The trimmer is unfortunately no better. I use it to keep my sideburns trimmed but after holding the trimmer to my side burns for a couple minutes at every different angle, and having it only cut about half the hairs, I always have to resort to just using my other trimmer. Maybe this isn't a problem if your just looking for a shaver though. Other Thoughts: This may be a great shaver for thinner facial hair, (maybe it actually works) but this is literally the worst shaver I've owned. Also, I gave this shaver more than it's fair share of chances. I gave it not only 1 month for my face to get "used to it" but gave it over a year, changed blades, etc. but nothing, still a bad shaver. Did you find this review helpful? It's very easy to use, lightweight and easy to tell exactly when it needs to charge. Cons: None Other Thoughts: This is the first Panasonic and foil that we purchased for my husband and he loves it. Pros: Shaves very good, wet shave excellent! Cons: The reason why I gave it one egg is battery life.. At least the one that I got was defective I guess, I've charged it for 8 hours and it took it not even a minute to die.. No bulky charging base. LCD battery indicator. Cons: None to speak of. Other Thoughts: This is my second Panasonic razor. My last one lasted over 10 years, and this one seems just as solid so far. For the sale price it's an unbelievable purchase for the performance you get compared to more expensive shavers. Cons: It took about 2 weeks to get used to the way it shaves wet or dry. Previously, I only used Norelco's since that's what I have always used. However, with the great price and reviews, I decided to try a foil shaver for once. This is a great shaver and seems to cut through the hair like better. Sometimes, my Norelco would pull the hair instead of cut it. However, with this shaver, it cuts through the hair like butter. Also, it doesn't irritate the skin. I always like the weight and feel of it. It seems to fit the hand very well. Cons: As others have mentioned, it doesn't work while plugged. This is okay though since it charges very quickly. Also, the jaw area is hard to reach sometimes but that's about the same with any electric razor. Did you find this review helpful? It is completely rechargeable, easy to use and well worth the expense. Cons: None yet. Other Thoughts: It will take a little bit, varying person to person, for your skin to adjust, but once it does you won't want to use any other type of razor again. Great features all around--trimmer works well, water proof, tilts around--even comes with a mirror, wow. Charges fast, too. Cons: Doesn't run while plugged in. I don't know why all shavers run only off batteries, and can't run while plugged in. Makes no sense at all. Other Thoughts: Another amazing product from Panasonic. Ben Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 week to 1 month This user purchased this item from Newegg	12/13/2008 11:36:31 PM Good Shaver Pros: I previously used a Panasonic ES728 which is very similar to this shaver except that it only had 2 blades instead of 3 and the neck did not move. Overall, it was a good upgrade. 3 blades do seem to cut faster than 2, but it's not a big deal. Biggest difference is that I like the angled head, makes shaving around my neck easier. Cons: I miss the inductive charging feature of my old shaver. The traditional plug is simpler and probably saves some cost for Panasonic, but the shaver should come with some sort of stand. If it came with a stand, I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4. Other Thoughts: Great shaver, I hope the blade replacements cost less than half the price of this shaver, unlike my previous Panasonic shaver. Did you find this review helpful? Battery life seems to be about 5 shaves. LCD Battery indicator. Waterproof. Cons: DOES NOT WORK WHILE PLUGGED IN! Must be charged and unplugged to operate! Big and clunky. Bigger than you might think. Other Thoughts: This shaver does not function as a corded shaver. This is a major flaw. The shaver must be unplugged or it will not turn on. This could leave you unshaven if you let the battery get too low. All other rechargable shavers I've owned have operated as corded or cordless shavers, not this one. Nick Tech Level: average Ownership: 1 month to 1 year	11/28/2008 11:13:19 AM good for the face Pros: does a great job on the face, shaves close and does wet or dry equally well with minimal to no irritation Cons: does not do a great job with the neck or along the jaw. It leaves slight stubble around these areas which ends up causing irritation. If you do not have much hair on the neck then this is no problem at all. Other Thoughts: ANY electric shaver, whether its 30 dollars or 300, will take a month to get used to. It says right in the manual when you get it not to return it for 30 days, and there's a 45 day return through the manufacturer. I noticed slight irritation with it for about 2-3 weeks but then it was just fine. Its very nice to be able to do a quick touch-up with this before going out at night to dinner or whatever and not have to pull out shave gel and all that mess. 12 out of 12 people found this review helpful.
