Fantastic
Pros: Excellent shave quality, very close. Easy to clean with water. Comes with case, brush and screen cover. Draws power from AC when plugged in, so no waiting to use when the battery dies.
Cons: Battery life shorter than advertised, good for about one week. Battery indicator inaccurate, never displays anything lower than 60% before it dies.
Other Thoughts: Razor cleans much better with screen removed instead of just raised, but not a big deal.

Not bad
Pros: Great shaver designed by BMW. the battery problems dont exists anymore. does everything it promises. Its a great buy at this price
Cons: the diamond shaped mesh means you dont get as close a shave (at least compared to my other Remington shaver, a higher model)

Skip it!
Pros: Good close shave. Can handle two day growth.
Cons: Trimmer broke 1st day. Worst button placement ever, while shaving you hit the cover eject buttons constantly
Other Thoughts: needs a redesign

Great Shave, cheap, watch the rebates
Pros: Generally very close shave compared to other razors I have used. Turbo mode a nice addition, makes the shave quicker than most. Battery indicator is a plus, as are the standard AAA batteries.
Replacement screens for my old remington now run > $20, so the after rebate price on this razor is less than a new screen for an older, less versitle product. Great value.
Cons: confusing rebate process (there isn't a serial number despite the form's asking for it, different rebate periods use the same rebate number).
Other Thoughts: I called the 1.800.953.3098 , asking about the fact that both the July rebate and the August rebate use the same rebate number (kind of unusual). I was concerned that they'd invalidate the second rebate ("one rebate per person") given this. A nice person named Heather agreed it would be wise to submit the second rebate to a different address "just in case", so that's what I'm doing.
She also said that the July rebate was "about to be mailed", even though I didn't put a serial number on that rebate form. We shall see...

Cheap junk
Pros: it shaves.
Cons: cheap construction, very cheap construction. long hair shaver stopped working 30 secs after turning it on. don't breath on the shaving elements or the cheap (did I mention cheap) plastic assembly connecting them to the motor will explode into lots of very small parts which cannot be reassembled. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I just wasted $30: mine failed just past the 30 day return deadline.

Better than expected!
Pros: When charged properly (24 Hrs first time), lasts for about 5-7 shaves. Is able to tackle 2-day growth without problem. Almost as close as a blade and at a fraction of the price of other shavers.
Cons: Button placement could be better.
Other Thoughts: Has a Turbo option that helps if you have heavier growth and battery indicator that shows percent charge remaining (20%, 40%, Etc).

Pros: Very close shave!
Cons: I confirmed with Remington support directly there is no serial number of the unit! When questioned on the rebate requirement, Newegg support gives the UPC number as the serial number.

Ergonomics/battery not the best
Pros: This electric is like every other that I've owned: It's good for a touch up but does not approach the smoothness of a blade.
Cons: The time between recharges is less than others I've owned. The F-720 gives a little less than 30 minutes shaving time between charges.
The on/off button is placed exactly on the spot where my fingers naturally position themselves to hold the razor while shaving. Consequently, the razor is prone to inadvertant shutdowns until I train myself to hold it some other way.
Other Thoughts: I purchased the F-270 on sale. In this case, I got what I paid for.

NI-CAD BATTREY PACKS
Pros: very close shave,....gets those tiny long hairs UNLIKE most foil shavers great customer service from remington decent battery life, even on turbo pretty inexpensive replacement foils and blades
Cons: none whatsoever, best razor I have ever owned and I have been shaving for nearly 35 years now, and at THIS price,.....GREAT DEAL!
if it had a NI-MH or Li-ion battery it would be perfect, but dealing with ni-cads just means you need to fully deplete the charge before re-charging, or you "set" the batteries to thinking they are depleted, when only halfway.
no big deal once you understand how different battery compositions work, and need to be maintained.
Other Thoughts: people I guess don't know how to read instructions, OR deal with NI-CAD batteries
the instructions are VERY clear, you charge it initially for 24 hours (it will show full charge after only an hour), and EVERY SIX MONTHS, you should COMPLETELY DRAIN THE RAZOR, then RE-CHARGE FOR 24 HOURS
this will "re-set" a ni-cad battery pack "spike"
if you bought this razor, and only get 1 or 2 shaves before it needs charging, then DRAIN IT COMPLETELY (so it's totally dead), and RE-CHARGE for 24 hours,...then you'll get the 1 hour run time advertised,...if not then you damaged the battery pack to the point it needs replacing
remington's customer service is ALMOST as good as newegg's: top notch.

decent considering the price
Pros: close shave, great price
Cons: run-time: not bad at about 8-10 shaves between charges, although this is significantly fewer than my braun 1-series button placement: seems like almost everytime i use it, i accidently turn it off or hit one of the pop up buttons on the side
Other Thoughts: anyone know where to find the serial number that is required for the july rebate?

Not so great
Pros: Cheap Light weight
Cons: Short run time Rattles internally
Other Thoughts: Charged it up twice for 24 hours and ran run time tests. Would not go more than 15 minutes total run time in turbo mode (only usable mode for face.) Advertised 60 minute run time. Maybe being so light is means low capacity battery. The old electrics were much heavier and ran well over an hour run time.

Battery must be defected!!!!!!!!!
Pros: The shaver works well but only two shaves it stopped working. I charged it more than 24 hrs. I wouldn't recommend this brand.
Cons: Fully charged shaver only last two shaves must be a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eggselent Shaver
Pros: WOW what a close shave. Very affordable. Make sure you charge as per the instructions for 24 hours BEFORE first use. I did just that and I have almost 4 shaves before I recharge. Others complain about run time probably because the instructions were not followed.
Cons: I couldn't find anything to say against this shaver.
Other Thoughts: Thanks to Newegg for finding this Remington Shaver and making it very affordable for me. 5 Stars Plus in my book.

Batteries Are Faulty.
Pros: Cheap. Rebate. Me-Serviceable AAA's inside. People who get a good-functioning shaver please note that the cells inside are high-quality SANYO AAA batteries... so if it works, it should really work! Sanyo cells are in all of these shavers, but it's the "luck of the draw" that determines if you get a shaver with alive & good cells or borked-out cells(not that I believe in luck though).
Cons: I left this unit on the charger for 24 hours TWICE, and once I turned it on it lasted for no more than 1 minute before completely dying. I even disassembled the shaver and cycled the batteries with my smart charger/discharger... Cycling 'full-charged' to near-dead the cells held no more than 200mah; a good, rechargeable, ni-mh, AAA should hold at least 700mah... someone on the mfg/distribution managed to ruin a very reputable brand's(Sanyo) batteries, and another reputable brand's(Remington) off-the-shelf shaver.
Other Thoughts: 2 eggs because I could get inside the shaver and replace the batteries.... mind you it's not as straight-forward as they describe it being, in the instructions. You'll need two "AAA batteries WITH tabs" and a soldering iron/gun. There's enough space in the battery 'compartment' that I'm considering adding another AAA into the mix and supercharging this shaver ^_^

Sad, Sad, Sad
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Trimmer not working, power buttons so easily triggered (when you do not want to start it)
Other Thoughts: Not worth buying, really made me sad. Not worth returning it or have it repaired, since the mail cost will simply be more costly than the shave itself.

Nice Shaver
Pros: Works great. Gives a close shave. Excellent price. 19 dollars!!!!!!!
Cons: None.
Other Thoughts: Wondering if the guys having problems with the battery life are girly men. 10 shaves on one battery for me. Maybe if you spend more time shaving instead of admiring yourself in the mirror you will get more than 2 shaves out of the battery.

Defective From the Start
Pros: On turbo mode it provided a marginally closer shave than the Remington MS2 250 shaver it replaced, especially on the neck area.
30-day performance satisfaction guarantee and 2-year warranty.
Cons: Absolutely anemic motor except when on turbo mode.
Turbo mode dramatically increases the noise decibel level. Still not quite as louad as the Remington MS2 250 it replaced.
Trimmer did not trim; the trimmer teeth did not move.
After charging for 36 hours before using the shaver for the first time, the battery lasted approximately 10 minutes before going into complete shutdown.
Looks like I will need to utilize the 30-day performance satisfaction guarantee.
Other Thoughts: It appears I got a defective product. Now I need to decide whether I should try another or just send it back for a refund.

affordable
Pros: Cheap at 30 dollars close shave for money decent battery life
Cons: not as close as razor, wouldn't expect it to be though
Other Thoughts: Saw a lot of other people complain about battery life but Ive been pretty impressed by it. I followed the directions for the first charge and since then i get weeks off of one charge.

Shaver works OK, Trimmer iffy
Pros: The shaver looks great and it has many great features like a charging meter with LEDs indicating amount of charge left. The unit charges quickly and is using newr rechargable batteries with no memory. The shaving speed is adequate and the turbo makes it actually good for most comfortable shaving. The two blades and the center trimmer makes it perfect for long and short beard. The head removes easily for easy cleaning and apparently you can rinse the head. I have not used it long enough to see how many shaves before a recharge. It has a quick charge as well and it has a worldwide charger. All in all it is a good shaver for the price. I also like the screen design.
Cons: The trimmer design is very flimsy and is poorly designed and almost never engages. I had to analyze the heck out of it and finally had to do my own fix to make it work. It has a tiny arm that takes the movements from one of the heads to the tiny bump that protrudes from the the trimmer inside the shaver. When trimmer is up it supposedly should engage to the flimsy arm.
Other Thoughts: Manual could be improved and they should caution if needed how to rinse. I am assuming that you remove the heaf and tilt the shaver down run the water on the blades and also the screen separately.

Great but buttons poorly located
Pros: Works very well in turbo mode, shaves closer than my old electric. Always have had problems getting a good shave in the neck area, but this does it well.
Cons: On/Off button located such that it is very easy for me to accidentally turn of the shaver when shaving, so minus one egg for that. I am left handed, so that may be a factor.
Other Thoughts: Great shaver for the price. Battery life is OK but not anything special.

Nice shaver, beware the buttons
Pros: Nice close shave, variable speed setting helps for variable surfaces. Beard trimmer is non-flexible, which helps get straight lines.
Cons: I'm sure this doesn't happen to everyone, but the on-button on mine died. Essentially, I was done shaving one day and it wouldn't turn off. Since they use a button rather than a switch, there's no manual way to cut off the circuit (plus the battery's non-removable). RMA went through great, props to Newegg, but this is a way the device can fail.

Pros: Gives a pretty good shave.
Cons: Battery life is terrible, 2 shaves max, no matter how it is recharged. Indicator will be showing 80% charge, but battery won't run the motor. Pop-up trimmer has a flimsy internal linkage that promptly breaks.

Turbo!
Pros: This is the best Sshaver i have ever had. I even bought another one as a gift for a friend.
It last more than 2 shaves per charge. The problem is that people forgot to read the instructions. Itsays to charge it for 24 hours. I was also having problems with not giving me enough juice. So i decided to plug it in for 25 hours or so and now is working like a charm. READ the INSTRUCTIONS, is very important.
++ on the Turbo mode. I use this mode for the mustache. It does not irritate at all. It shaves that very fast and smooth. very close smooth shave too. +cleaning is so easy too. this machine is excellent. If you are here in newegg trying to find a shaver like i was, Get this one. The price is excellent and the shave is outstanding.
Cons: none. After i left it charge for 24 hours it has not given me any discharged problems at all. Just read the Manual.
Other Thoughts: You have to let it Drain 1once per month and then recharge it again for a full 24hour. It will keep your batteries working at Maximum performance at all times.

Does the Job
Pros: Smooth close shave and long enough battery. Loads of features for a foil shaver. Huge savings here on newegg. Painless
Cons: Some irritation on first few uses.
Other Thoughts: Great reliability under Remington for years.

Closer shave than I imagined
Pros: * Very close shave. Closer than I had imagined an electric shaver was capable. * Low vibration * Fast charging with long use time and integrated charge meter with appx time remaining * includes travel case.
Cons: None that I have found yet
Other Thoughts: I normally wet shave and haven't used an electric shaver in years. I've never been pleased with the results until now as I have a heavy, dense beard. This shaver surprised me in all respects. It's worth every penny. It has the look and feel of quality and the close shave exceeds all expectations

Pros: Nice looking, seems to be well made, easy to clean and shaves relatively well.
Cons: Battery life is dismal. I get about 2 shaves out of a charge.
Other Thoughts: A bit hard to shave without either pushing the button that detaches the head cover or some other button.

I am satisfy !!
Pros: It is fast and gives close shaving especially in the neck area. I have very sensitive skin, so I was afraid of getting irritation, but it is very good with my neck area. I bought Philips Norelco Model: 8270XL speed XL shaver which is rotary type, but I had to return it because the irritations in my skin and it did not give me the closeness as Remington shaver. Also, I liked the Intercept Trimmer to cut longer hairs. In Remington website, they sale it for $109.99, so you got the best deal in the market with newegg.com ($34.99) and free shipping. It is very nice product.
Cons: It would be perfect if the On/Off switch changes to push it up and down, so it dose not interfere with the shaving. it took me some time to get used to the buttons because it has 2 buttons in the front one On/Off and the second one is for turbo speed. and from the 2 sides there are 4 buttons to disengage the foil from the shaver to clean it. The Problem in the design is when you hold it you have to be so careful not to to bush any button accidentally. I think you will get used to it after awhile. This is why I gave it just 4 out of five
