I've ordered so many things from Newegg, but this is the first time I ordered an item with bulk return policy, which basically means.. no returns.

I looked at the box when I was receiving it, and it looked fine, except for a few peels and scratches here and there on the box, which usually happens anyway.

But once I opened the box, WAS I IN FOR A SURPRISE. The entire air conditioner was dented. There was a dent so bad that the air ventilation was blocked and installing it was hard because it was not properly aligned due to the damage.

Other Thoughts: Remember to inspect your A/C THOROUGHLY! I've been so used to buying things that I could return from newegg.

Pros: It works, decent cooling ability, remote control, separate fan speed/temp controls.

Cons: VERY, VERY Loud and Noisy !! Even at lowest fan setting, each time remote control button pressed, unit makes a beep.. So what you say? This tiny little beep can be heard by neighbors, ETs and probably creatures in other galaxies !

Other Thoughts: Don't use it in bedroom

Pros: Very quiet for an ac, has an energy saver mode, good controls, cools my 11"x12" room perfectly.

Cons: the remote looks like its from the 70's.

Pros: Small size, Light weight and easy installation.
Very good energy efficiency ratio.

Cons: Noisy on high fan setting.
Cannot bring fresh air from the outside, only recirculates air.
Does not have a drain, so water accumulates causing some noises as the fan hits the water.

Other Thoughts: Excellent and quick service by new egg as always.

Pros: Cools very good, blows ice cold air. Cools my room very well so far, very satisfied.
My first unit I recieved was damaged apparently in shipping, I called New Egg and obtained a RMA and shipped back, and received the one I have now and it works great!!

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: Very easy to install/uninstall. Fairly quiet compared to other low cost window units. Blows very cold air (when functional, see below). Uses very little power compared to other 6000 BTU units.

Cons: Arrived defective. Needs a better/more powerful blower. Very poor construction/design. Compressor turns on and off too often. Let's in alot of outside light and outside noise.

Other Thoughts: My unit arrived with a non-functional blower. I installed the unit and let it sit 24 hours (as you should for any AC device). The next day I turned it on and all I got was very loud compressor noise but no air coming out of the unit. I called support and they said send it back for exchange. I uninstall the unit and can clearly see the problem through the top vents. The main fan blade is hitting the condenser coil. I am a computer and mechanical engineer so I figure I can fix it rather than pay the $65 to return it for exchange. The hardest part was getting the top case off. Once I had it open then I adjusted the condenser position to move it away from the main fan. While inside I added some much needed padding and insulation in several places to reduce noise from outside and while the unit is running. Now the unit runs like a champ but you shouldn't have to repair a brand new A/C in the first place. So 2 eggs for you!

Pros: Works well, cools what it is supposed to

Cons: Horribly noisy. I own 3 Frigidaires, and they are all extremely noisy. Forget about watching TV at a normal volume or having a quiet conversation with one in the room

Pros: Quiet, high efficiency rating and cools a single room adequately. Easy to install and operate. Remote works well from a distance.

Cons: No temperature gauge on the remote itself which is there on more expensive models.

Other Thoughts: Fan not strong enough to cool mult rooms, but if you need more power get a bigger unit
