Has some problems 01/27/2008
Using Windows Vista 32 premium, installs quickly, excellent OTA digital TV. (I have a Nvdia 8500 video card, do not expect good output unless you have a HDTV quality video card.) Uses Vista MC easily and does have QAM support. I have used this card for 10 months. I bought it directly from Avermedia before NewEgg sold the card.
Has Cable (QAM) support but picture is not nearly the quality of a regular television. No digital QAM support. Aver's media center crashes with Windows Vista SP1 RC2. QAM will stutter occasionally, this is known issure and is documented on the web. It is generally thought to be from weak signal. I think Aver's tunner is weak and is causing the problem because my Sony TV gives a perfect QAM picture without a problem.
Most problems will probably be corrected with better drivers. This card has S-Video and audio inputs but there is no video capture software to use with this card.
