Very good memory 12/18/2008
Is works great at the advertised clocks 7-7-7-20 1T. This memory is part of the mushkin HP PC3 family which supports XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) instructions which, if supported by the motherboard you choose, will automaticaly set the correct timings when enabled in the bios. The only couple of things you may have to tweak are the NB and Memory voltages. I have a MSI X48C Platinum runing stable on this memory set to NB voltage=1.5v and Memory voltage=1.79v. Mushkin was very helpful when contacted.
Some motherboards require manual NB and Memory voltages set manually. And most of the X48 chipset motherboards are particularly sensitive to memory timings and voltages in order to achive stability.
It would be nice if the manufacturer had a timming setting guide of some sortthat comes in the pakage with the memory modules.
