- AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82(2.20GHz)
- 4GB Memory 320GB HDD
- Integrated DVD Super Multi
Radeon 3200 handles things extremely well.
As an iPhone owner, I can attest to how awesome multi-touch is.
Digitizer is very accurate.
Good battery life(3 hours).
The AMD processor gives good performance.
4gb of Ram
64-bit OS(This should really be standard these days)
NO HDMI!!!!! Almost didn't buy it because of this. VERY annoying.
One MAJOR ISSUE, HP does not provide all of the drivers and utilities for this online. I had to install the N-Trig drivers for the Dell Lattitude XT because I can't get them from HP or N-Trig. Also, the Lattitude drivers don't include the Pinching features, so my multi-touch capabilities are dead unless I use my restore discs to return to factory settings. Also no software available online for the auto-rotate functionality.
And oh yeah, SO MUCH BLOATWARE. I'm not sure why HP thinks they're doing customers a favor by putting so much JUNK on these systems.
5,400 RPM hard drive leaves something to be desired.
The bloatware really merits a reformat of this system, but the drivers and software required for the system aren't available. But that's HP's fault, not the computer's, thus the full 5 eggs. It's a great system.
Windows 7 runs great on it(better than vista IMO), but N-Trig's beta Windows 7 drivers are only 32-bit, so until they release 64-bit drivers, I won't be able to test that portion of it.
