Wife loves it, which means I love it too! Whether I use it on her as accessory in our bedroom or she uses it on her own, it's a great addition to the bedroom! And it's dirt cheap compared to the way expensive battery operated units that last only a couple of months or so. Specialty stores typically sell this for much more!
The connection between the neck and the head of the massager seems a bit weak, as if too much pressure could snap it. So it doesn't seem a great unit for deep massage / hard pressure.
It would be nice it if had a dial for allowing greater control of the vibration frequency. Of the HIGH/LOW setting, even the low is still pretty intense/fast.
The "cons" listed are certainly not worth turning down this massager. It's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
I'd heard about it for years and finally picked one up. (They used to sell for over $100!) It has been well worth it. When we just need a quick release, it's a great way to get there fast!
Oh yeah, it also works great on other parts of the body on major muscle groups such as legs, arms, upper & lower back, etc.
If you are looking for privacy, it's not the quietest thing out there. I suppose if someone is holding their ear to the other side of a closed door, they would hear it. But it's not obnoxious or overly intrusive into the massage session itself. In fact, now it's like Pavlov's dogs in that just the sound of it can trigger the wife's body to prep itself. Yep, well worth it! (Sorry, no video upload with this review! Hahaha!)
