Non-Overclockers' Review 08/12/2009
Reliable, very fast, affordable and widely acclaimed. You will find tons of information in forums such as tom's hardware, etc., if want to learn how to overclock the proc. or anything else.
Stock heatsink/fan is pure junk. Mine came to me with the fan appearing decentered. Indeed, by the fourth boot up it was rattling around loudly in its cheap plastic cover. Buy a custom fan/heatsink such as a Sycthe that can be had here for less than 30 bucks. If you must risk your hard-earned money with this stock piece, first, remove the thermal paste with a dedicated remover such as artic, ocz or use rubbing alcohol in a pinch with a lint free rag. The little chunk of their grease won't even cover more than 75-80% of your processor. Apply your own ocz freeze or your choice and then mount that clunker! May you have better luck than myself since I really hope no one risks their money and nice processor with this junk fan/heatsink :)
Take your good savings on this proc. and spring for a custom fan/heatsink even if you don't overclock.
