Anyone who has a laptop with a screen larger than 17" will know how hard it is to find a case that will carry their laptop safely and securely, so the case itself is a pro. The colors, black w/ silver accents make the case fashionable yet professional and not to flashy. The stitching and zippers are well made and designed an seem sturdy. Rubber feet over the bottom corners and a harder padding on the bottom are nice for placing the case down upright. Overall, the padding is thick and hard enough to give you peace of mind while carrying around your devices yet soft enough to be comfortable while carrying. The handles are rubber and combine to form a single handle which is comfortable. The carrying strap is padded and very comfortable as well. The main compartment has a nice padded divider that secures your laptop with velcro straps and protects it from other components or items you might have in the main compartment. Two pockets on the outsides provide additional space.
Only one compartment. I personally like to travel with a lot of devices and components for my PC such as headphones, mouse, laptop cooler, external harddrive, etc. and with only one compartment for storage it is going to be an issue. I was looking for at least 2 compartments but this was one of a very limited and hard to find selection of cases that would carry my laptop. The outer pockets are good for carrying smaller items, pens, paper, phones, MP3 players, etc. and that's about it. Don't expect to fit your power cables or any headphones besides ear buds in there without pinching them. The rubber/plastic carrying handles are nice when combined but awkward to carry by when separated. The case is somewhat larger than it needs to be due to only have one compartment.
I bought this case for my HP HDX18t 18.4" size screen if you are wondering so all comments are based on that. It says 18.4" carrying case so don't expect it to fit anything larger than 18" as my 18.4 fits in nice and snug. If you carry a lot of components like I do you will find some problems trying to carry it all in this case but if you carry the basics(power cables, mouse), you will have no problems at all. If I worked designing this case, I'd recommend trimming the case down about an inch off the length and 1"-2" off the height and add a second compartment. This would cause the laptop to be thicker but keep the size similar to average laptop cases yet still provide enough space to carry the components needed. Overall, nicely made case for something that is extremely hard to come by.
