Solid board 10/03/2009
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD Motherboard
Used this board for my first custom computer build.
Overall for a first timer this board made it easy for me, manual listed out most hardware installation and setup was a breeze. Friend talked me into getting this over an AM2 board for my budget build and good thing I did, AM3 should hopefully last a while and that would mean future ungrades. Used the G.SKILL RAM that was recommended for this board and it worked great.
Pretty sure this isn't a con of the board itself but I leave my computer on a lot--and one time a lightning storm came in and went through some of our lines, not sure which. Anyway it killed the onboard internet could never get the onboard to work again... had to buy a PCI Ethernet adapter but I guess I should be grateful it didn't take the whole board.
From what I can tell it has not affected any other part of this board and it's still a solid board.
