solid price point and they work. Flawless operation in OS X (10.5 and 10.6). Not a whole lot to say but working is a huge "pro" in and of itself.
The little: there is a slight noisiness from the fan (remember i have 2 sitting next to eachother) but they arevery effective. I think I stripped one of the screws on the back of one putting it together.
The bigger: The drives go to sleep a TON and spin up sequentially, so if the thing you are looking for is on drive 2 it spins up drive 1 then drive 2 then reads the drive. (I don't know if this is a characteristic of this box or because of OS X though as I have never used them on a different system)
I have 2 of these, one with 2x 1tb Seagate 7200.11 and one with a Seagate 500gb and Seagate 1tb 7200.12. Everything is working fine and dandy. I have OS X software raiding the 2tb box and its running in time machine.
Everything seems fast enough as far as data transfer. Great for archival purposes. I have never had a problem with any Rosewill product.
