FRUSTRATION 12/10/2009
This review is from: NETGEAR WNB2100-100NAS Wireless Router And USB Adapter Kit IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0
Pros:
When I can get the adapter to connect, it's good. Actually the adapter reads a connection, I just can't surf the web.
Cons:
I can't get my internet connection reliable. It connects anywhere from 25mb/second to no connection to the internet at all. It's fast, it's slow or it's nothing ?! USB adapter shows a connection to the router usually, but varies greatly. I've tried moving my laptop around the house to find the max signal, but still not dependable. I've tried to re-install, not luck there, I've tried changing settings, nope, latest drivers for USB, and more. Ugh ?!
Overall Review:
I'm still not giving up on it yet. I want to make sure I've tried EVERTHING. But I want to warn buyers of the trouble this router might be for them. I going to put a few more hours into this thing, but if I fail, it's back to "Linksys" : ) for me.
