- SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower
- USB 2.0 / Audio Front Ports
- Side Air duct
- 4 External 5.25" Drive Bays
- 5 Internal 3.5" Drive Bays
Not too happy 01/09/2010
-Came with all the fans you need
-Fans move a lot of air
-Quiet(assuming the fans are working)
-Fan filter in front
-Toolless design needs some work(5.25" bays it works great on, 3.5" and the PCI slots not so much.)
-Top fan is only held in by top of case, which it bangs against if you get a fan that's not in tight enough tolerances. I was able to fix it with a little sanding and shimming the fan away from the case though. Thermaltake will tell you to RMA the fan but I didn't want to bother.
-Side fan was noisy. Fixed by removing. CPU temp went down after removing since the air flow is going the wrong way(side fan is an intake, not exhaust, I suppose you could just turn it around, though the mounts would be on the wrong side).
-No isolation of hard drive from case, so it could potentially vibrate, especially with the tool-less clips.
-Have to take off the front of the case and front fan to screw down HDD, since the cage is non-removeable.
I have mixed feelings about this case. I managed to get it working well enough for me but when you buy a case you kind of expect it to work without modification.
