POOR Customer Service on Toshiba's behalf! 06/17/2010

Toshiba's Customer Service:
After 1 month of Purchase the unit display turned completely pink! I called Toshiba who took down my info and told me to call a local business TV repair shop who deals in Toshiba products. I called the business who then had a tech come and look at the TV. He took pictures of the once gorgeous display that now only show vertical garbage lines of putrescent pink, and uploaded the results to Toshiba via e-mail. After 3 and a half weeks of waiting on a response and for what they told me was going to be a whole new TV, to my very irritated surprise was a part for repair!
I immediately phoned Toshiba and asked for a manager who told me... our warranty only covers that we repair the unit not for an exchange! What... WHAT!!!!! That is absolutely BOGUS! I'm sorry but if you had a new TV and paid 1800 Dollars for it you expect it to work! And on top of that Toshiba said that they didn't have me on record, from when i first phoned Toshiba. Sheesh! How is that possible when the rep you phone immediately takes down your customer information and then asks how may i help your needs today!
I'm very upset with Toshiba next time I'm taking me business else-where!
I called Newegg to see if maybe there was something they could do for me, but since i'm already contacting Toshiba there is nothing they could do... although Newegg told me that if it was in their hands still they would just give me a new TV. I love you Newegg.. see Newegg understands!
