nice price, ION killer 08/16/2010
Nice form factor PC, using it as a HTPC, tight fit but all goes together well, can't beat the price for a case, mother board and PSU. Gig Nic, Build set me back roughly $415 with a Blu-Ray, after rebates, should be closer to $370. Not bad.
Power supply is very, very load, sounds like a hoover.
looks like my unit may have be dropped at the factory, the tin cover over the rear cut outs was bent beyond repair, and the left side of the box is not exactly square, I'd be willing to spend a bit more if they upgraded the PSU. It's a TFX form factor, they are kind of pricey, but can be bought around $40 with shipping, google seasonic, ark technogies, etc.
go ahead and order a right angle sata power connector, there's plenty of clearance between the CPU cooler and back of my Blu ray drive, but the power cable stick's out too far and the BD can't sit properly. I'm going to replace the PSU fan to see if that will help with the noise It's an 80X80X15 2 pin fan. Also, you'll need a half height PCI card, the New Egg combo deal with the Radeon MSI 4350 didn't work out well, the card "fit" but the heat sink was sandwiched against the PSU, right were the PSU exhaust fan is located.
Windows 7 HP
Radeon 5450 (this may blow the PSU, will wait and see)
LG BD OEM
2GB Patriot Memory
Hitachi 250GB 2.5" 7200 Laptop drive
Might try to add a 40mm fan on the left front under the multi-card reader, to help with ventilation. There's an open 3 pin fan plug on the board
