This review is from: GIGABYTE GV-N62256DP2-RH GeForce 6200 256MB 64-Bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card
This card works as the other reviewers said it would - seamlessly with Windows 7. It's a decent upgrade if you want to extend the life of an old machine or make a new one out of spare parts. All I had to do was plug this thing into the AGP slot and windows automatically found the drivers.
256mb of ram isn't enough - so it shares another 512mb or system memory or so. Although Windows 7 runs smoothly once it gets started, it's very choppy during logon...probably when it's requesting and being allocated memory - but that's just my guess.
I would buy this card again. It's a fair price for a decent brand.
Scores 3.2 and 3.3 on the graphics section of WEI.
