This review is from: MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard

no issues, every issue i tried to pin on it was either solved by resetting the bios or other hardware issues, no real issues, runs the AMD phenom II x4 955 no issues, got 2x2 corsair xms ram sticks and 2x4 gskill ripjaw ram sticks combined (same frequency and all) with no issue recognized they were different sticks and saw all the memory, even had the ability to set specific timing for each stick, though didnt need to
had both a self contained liquid cooling system on there (which failed) and a Zalman CNPS 9900 on there, no issues
never noticed my motherboard 'bending' with my GTX 480, despite complaints about that video card
raid runs fine, used raid 1, 0 and 5 (currently using 5)
onboard GPU disables easily enough

onboard video kinda lacks power for when i used it, never really needed to, and any decent GPU will be to powerful for the 'hybrid sli' to work, but who expects an onboard GPU to game anyways
had dual GTX 460s on there for a short period of time, didnt act too well, had lots of tearing and many visual anomalies when using 2 GPUs, dont know if this mobo requires 3 to properly SLI or if SLI just fails to begin with, but if it requires 3, the it should have come with a 3 way SLI bridge, not just a 2 way
Raid has not gotten much easier to setup, still requires the disk while installing the os to put the drivers on or else u wont be able to rebuild your raid

Other Thoughts:

should be noted though that i have only used the onboard video when troubleshooting PCI video cards, but never really had an issue with it besides its power
once i got my raid 5 setup, no issues, even lost and replaced a hard drive with no issues, great if u have a bunch of the same old hard drive and u dont trust them, but u want to use them
