Same Name, Different Motherboard 03/24/2011
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
This is a solid, stable motherboard. Lots of copper means less resistance as you OC.
Most people will never use the Z68 features due out in June (OC + onboard video; because, if you add a video card you lose the Quicksync.
Intel knows how to market.
None really, I bought this board from Newegg 2 months ago, before the recall. Both Gigabyte and Newegg sent me a recall notice. Had I taken Newegg's exchange offer I would have received a lesser board than the one I that I have now exchanged with Gigabyte.
See "Other Thoughts" below.
Newegg no longer offers the board I bought: GA-P67A-UD3P
See the "P" at the end?
The replacement board, without the "P", means that it is offered with one less USB2/0 header, no USB3.0 header, and has the slightly lesser quality purple Sanyo solid capacitors in place of the original blue ones.
Also, to make up for the missing headers, Gigabyte moved the F_audio header to the bottom.
