It worked well while it lasted, or part of it did. Good response timing. Decent range (see other thoughts), slim design. I would recommend this product. I think i just got a lemon.
The mouse never worked. It would power on but would never get signal even after updating drivers and synching the "ID" setting. So I did with a wired mouse for a year or so. Keyboard failed little after one year. After first battery died the unit was done for. The point of failure was the ribbon connectors to con1 on the circuit board and could be repaired but this is normally an ending failure, explaining the loss in eggs.
For people with signal problems. I do not mean to be condescending but all 2.4Ghz devices have this problem. Bluetooth, WI-FI, Wireless Speakers, and just about anything wireless that's not done by the US government is 2.4Ghz. They send signal by either amplitude modulation, frequency modulation or phase modulation. This one is frequency modulation from what I can tell. All other 2.4Ghz close to its frequency will interfere with this performance. And all microwaves dominate the 2.35-2.45 range when turned on. Try it next time, you will see wi-fi packages lost and wireless keyboard errors. That's just the price you pay for wireless technology. Because these devices work in the microwave range the signals are absorbed by water molecules. (which is why microwave ovens heat things, by exciting the water molecules) So if you live in a humid area, then you will have less range with all 2.4Ghz devices and its not the device's fault. Hope that clears things up.
