This review is from: Rosewill RNX-N4PS IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 Router (2T3R) Up to 300Mbps Data Rates/ WPA/WPA2 (AES, 64,128-WEP with shared-key authentication), WPS/ Power Saving Solution/ Hardware WPA button
Good price, functions as a repeater, router setup was a breeze, interface is great, unit is small and clean looking, RANGE IS AWESOME.
Not that it really matters, but don't order this if you're remotely ocd about keeping things scratch free. Even though the router was wrapped in a loose plastic bag, it had several horizontal rows of scuff marks in the black finish, as if the router's box had been under intense pressure, and the cardboard had scuffed it through the protective plastic. Bandwidth also seems to be cut in half for wireless, though I'm sure that's a combination of "the nature of the beast" and user error. Wired Connection is is about 40mbs, wireless is about 20. Coming from my previous measly connection of 2.5mbs, I'm pleased as punch.
I live in a 2000+ square foot house. Even though the modem is connected in the basement on one side of the house, I find that I can't escape the wireless signal anywhere in my house! On the very opposite end of the house upstairs, I am still getting 4 bars (very good) wireless signal, which means 12-15mbs versus the 20 in the 'excellent' range.
