Runs on 400 watt PSU 09/03/2011
Plays everything really well so far (Shogun 2, and all the other Steam freebies like Champions Online and Team Fortress 2). I also ran the Unigene Heaven benchmark and it looked great.
Not really loud at all, I can't hear it over my fish tank and refrigerator.
Runs on my Antec NeoEco 400 watt psu, despite the box's recommendation of 500 watt. I read so many reviews and PSU calculators and determined that I had more than enough juice in my system to run it.
Big and thick. If I ever want to install a second one I am going to have to evaluate if it will fit. (at that point I will need a bigger PSU, I know)
I had to buy a molex to pci express adapter because it requires 2 pci-e power lines. The adapter was low quality (bought at newegg for 4.49) and really didn't want to fit. The antec native pci-e line slid in easily.
NO sexy lady graphic on the card. I thought all the best cards came with a sexy lady holding a sword or machine gun or both.
This was the final piece for my first build:
Intel I-5 2400 processor (bought from Fry's)
Gigabyte GA-Z68A-D3H-B3 mobo (newegg)
G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (newegg)
Antec NEO ECO 400W 80+ (newegg)
Hitachi 1TB 7200rpm hard drive (fry's)
HP DVD writer (best buy)
My old off brand 24" monitor
Some Old mid tower I got from a friend
