glossy screen 12/15/2011
Just a heads up for those who never get the answer to the question of "Is it a glossy or dull screen". It is the most important about monitors to some. IT HAS GLOSSY SCREEN. It reflects back lights, but is like looking thru a picture window instead of milky glass.
I have owned the new version for about a year, and it is the best I have owned. Clear bright colors, games are amazingly crisp.
Don't know whether to order a Debranded or not.
IF you like glossy screens, this is a great example. They have put some kind of coating to cut down on reflections, something like magnesium flouride they use in camera lenses, so it is not absolute reflection, but all the glory of the pixels can be seen. By the way, this is not a LED style, but is very bright regardless, and colors come thru very well.
