Good if it works... 01/20/2012
If you get a good set, it works great. My system running with 3 out of 4 sticks is blindingly fast, (of course 2 SSD's in raid 0 has something to do with it as well).
I had random BSOD's, code 45 errors on Fatality P67 Pro, freeze-ups, all driving me crazy. Thought it was the vid cards, tested, no. Motherboard, updated, nope. Turned on the XMP profile, shut off spread spectrum, still problems. Then I googled around and found that if you remove all but one stick of the ram, and get the system running right, you can slowly add them back in and isolate the bad stick(s)- turns out that only ONE of my 4 sticks causes all the problems.
I don't want to RMA the whole set when I know that 3 of the sticks run great. With my luck, I will get a new set with TWO bad sticks. Maybe G.Skill will allow me to return the single bad stick for a replacement?
We are sorry to hear you are having issues. The correct way to test memory is individually with the rated specifications. So with one module installed in the initial slot, input the basic memory settings (DDR3-1600, 9-9-9-24, 1.50V). Once that is complete, boot up, and run memory diagnostic test if you would like. If the system appears stable, swap it out with another module and repeat the same process. Each module should perform the same and have the same result. If not, it is possible the module is defective.
A single module can be accepted for RMA exchange, but we recommend the entire kit since they are a matched set. On rare occasions, a replacement may not be fully compatible with the original modules, so you should be aware of this. For any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly.
Quality and customer service are our top priorities.
