This is not a broken CPU. Intel has deliberately removed the IGP from the chip because enthusiasts that have the 2500k think that without the IGP, they'll be able to get higher overclocks. So Intel listened and did just that.
You don't get IGP, but most people who are overclocking have a discrete video card anyway.
If you are serious about overclocking, this is the chip to get. If you are not, then get one of the non K versions. If you just want to mildly overclock above 3.8Ghz, then go with the 2500k. If you want 4.5Ghz+ then take a chance with the 2500k or get this chip.
