Decent size SSD, nice screen with good resolution, light and sleek design that those around you will envy. Fresh Windows 7 install went very smoothly.

Physical buttons on touchpad are iffy.

Other Thoughts:

A lot of the concern on this laptop seems to revolve around the touchpad and keyboard. I love them, so it really is about personal preference and/or getting used to using them. Functionally, they work how they are supposed to. I DO think that the physical clickers on the touchpad don't work well at all, you have to really press on them. The multi-finger gestures built into the drivers (no bloatware needed!) are fantastic though and remove the need for the physical buttons.

All of the Asus bloatware is worthless in my opinion. The instant on program must do nothing but take up space because the laptop wakes up in <2 sec regardless of it being on. All of the power management can be done using Windows.

I did a fresh install of Windows 7 and it went smoothly. Just make sure that you plug your USB dvd drive into the USB 2.0 port. The Windows 7 installer does not have the drivers for the USB 3.0 port and it will not be able to recognize the drive. Make sure to update the BIOS too!
