EXCELLENT BOARD AT THIS PRICEPOINT. 05/12/2012
Easy overclocking in BIOS
Ready for FX chips
Excellent onboard audio/Dolby HD
32GB DDR3 max
High power USB 2.0 ports (charge my phone as fast as a wall charger, even when the PC is off)
PCI-E is 16x on one GPU
8X in X-fire or SLI
Doesn't matter much to me since I'm only going to run a single card.
Having trouble with the USB 3.0 drivers from Etron on Windows 7 64. They worked fine in Vista.
This is a very solid midrange board. I'm completely happy with it for $100. The only con is that in SLI or Crossfire the bandwidth is reduced, however, this won't effect me because I don't plan to use that feature. I think anyone who plans to use SLI/Crossfire will have purchased a higher end board anyways. My favorite feature is the high powered USB 2.0 ports that charge my phone as quick as my wall charger does even when my PC is off. My biggest gripe is the problem I'm having with the USB 3.0 drivers from Etron. They worked great before I upgraded OS from Vista to 7. Not sure if it's just me or I have a problem with the board.
