Fans are easy to mount, and keeps cpu cooler than MB at idle. MB is 30c and cpu at 27c. Kinda awsome. I was able to unclip the bottom fan and slide it over a bit to INSTALL more ram, without removing cooler. It was hyper x ram, fit with no problems. Large contact plate, way oversize for 1155, thats good though.
Best for a new build, as you "must" remove MB! Pain, but you know, faster if you just take it out.
Sometimes when my IB 3570k goes under sudden load, temp will spike from 28c to 40c then plummet to below idle temp before stabilizing. Must be a heat pipe thing. without overclocking i havnt seen my cpu temp above 40c. Stock intel hs would get up to 55c pretty quick.
