Works Well 07/09/2012
I purchased this low profile HD 6670 to replace and upgrade an older low profile Radeon HD 4650. I upgraded to run a 24" LCD HD television I had received from my employer as a bonus. The older card didn't operate the TV properly, though it worked after a fashion. I installed the card in a amall ITX (GA-610) case by G-Alantic.
I'm using the TV as a computer monitor (already have TVs), and as a replacement for a 19" monitor. This new card and the most recent AMD drivers installed and worked with the 24" TV perfectly. I installed the game Fallout 3 and it works (the game) at the highest in-game texture settings possible.
The game runs smoothly and looks great on the big TV/monitor (1920 X 1080P).
No cons that have anything to do with the Radeon HD 6670.
The TV isn't designed to be a computer monitor, so it doesn't respond properly to the computer's sleep or shut-down commands. As a result, it can't be put into sleep mode, and needs to be shut-down and powered-on using the TV remote control device.
So, if you want to use a TV for a computer monitor, make sure it can respond to computer commands for these functions. Other than these limitations, the TV works great as a computer monitor.
